It was okay but I expected a bit more from the chocolate and sour cherry for the price of 26 lei. The flavours could have been a little bit more prominent. The place is small and it doesn’t have much sitting area. The staff was nice and welcoming.

Very impressive! This place offers the best eclairs I’ve ever tried. There is much diversity in flavor and the cashier was full of recommendations. He was also able to explain thoroughly the contents and taste of each one, so that I wa impressed by. The place itself is very small, more like an eclair stand. I tried the Salted Caramel one and The Pistachio and the cream was rich, fluffy and full of flavor - a real luxury to the palate. Even if a few hours had passed, the eclair mixture was still soft, but tasty. Usually the eclair batter soaks in the cream making it wooshy and just wet instead of tasteful, but that was not the case! The only thing I might have a say against are the prices. Even though they are incredibly delicious, 24 lei for a single eclair(without exception) is just way too much. Other than that, you definitely have to try them out( there’s many French Revolution shops all around town ) if you’re every in Bucharest

A lot of different eclairs. The one with caramel and salt was really good. Coffee was ok (maybe a little bit sour)

I was recommended to go to this Éclair Speciality Shops in Bucharest, whose name sounds a bit provocative. Meanwhile I have been to many pastry shops in Paris. However, I have to admit that I was overwhelmed by the quality of their eclairs. The taste of the mascarpone was absolutely genuine, not copied or imitated. The pistachio and beurre were exquisitely balanced, neither too much nor too little. The chocolate noir was exactly noir, hardly sweet, but a superb chocolate. Furthermore, the pâte à choux base seemed to be a very good combination of ingredients, carefully and evenly pressed and baked at the right temperature to support the various flavours. It's true that the prices are quite high, but given the amount of the filling and the high quality, it's certainly worth paying. I can't help but admit that I've never tasted the eclairs of this quality before, anywhere else in the world. Kudos to the French Revolution, king of the eclair!

In my opinion, French Revolution is an institution. It is THE place to try the best eclairs in Bucharest (where there is huge competition in the dessert "field") and most likely some of the best in the world. I never miss eating a few eclairs every time I am back in the city. They never fail to amaze, they never fail! I am forever in love with their classic dark chocolate eclair, however I seem not to find fault with any of the others ;-)

This is a place I take anyone visiting me in Bucharest to. You wouldn't want to miss it if you fancy a super delicious desert 💛

The best eclairs ever. Pistachio by far is the best, Vanilla is also amazing. Anything I tasted was extremely good, balanced taste and full of cream. Good size and very high quality and taste for the money. One éclair is around 18 lei.

These are some of the best eclairs you'll ever have not just in Bucharest. They have many different locations throughout town so you shouldn't have a problem finding them. There's so many different flavors that it can be difficult to choose but you can't go wrong with either one. Everything about these eclairs is top notch, from the dough to the icing and filling. I can't recommend this place enough.
