the Management should be able to provide far better services and facilities based the entry fees. The bathrooms are dated and not well kept. Not even a lounge chair is provided. I have been to beach clubs on the north coast with a far lower entry fee that offers far better services and amenities. I understand that you are also paying for the location but they can offer a much better service.

Recently had my fourth stay here, and I'll be back again next time. The rooms are designed nicely, especially the junior suites, and the villas have balconies overlooking the sea. Facilities are basic, which is just right if you're planning to be at the beach as much as possible. I was sad to see that breakfast is no longer offered in the Great House. It's clear that the property is kept up with a skeleton crew. The buildings date back to the 1960s which is charming, and the operators do their best to preserve them. Do not expect 5-star resort facilities, but instead a calming, beautiful place. The staff were friendly and communicative, I even got a WhatsApp message during our stay to confirm something, and other than that, in our room area, it was completely quiet. We slept very well and enjoyed chilling in the evenings in our own space. I will 100% be back.

First of all i was shock we had to 2700$ to go Jamaican money, to get chair you have to pay 300$ for a chair, or sit on tbe sand which is fine with me. Over all it was a nice experience as it was my first time visiting Jamaica. The food was good.

I went on a staff trip to this place and I must say I enjoyed myself.. The tide was rough so didn't go into the sea but I relaxed in the river next to it... They should provide more changing rooms/bathrooms and the standing showers/pipes should have a little more privacy for persons to properly wash off/bathe the sand from places where it shouldn't be lol... Also should be a place to hold large gatherings when there is heavy showers of blessing We got food and it was delicious 😋 Road to the entrance of the place needs to be fixed... I 100% recommend for family and friends

Overall, we were not too impressed with this hotel. It is supposed to be a heritage resort but really all this seems to mean is that they haven’t updated anything since the 1950’s when the Beatles apparently stayed here. The location is stunning amidst beautiful greenery and jungle. I have no problem with the original architecture of the buildings to maintain the heritage aspect, but they really could update the sewerage, water, bathroom, and kitchen somewhat at least. We ended up staying in two villas during our time because the water wasn’t working in villa #1 (the one we booked) when we arrived. They said sorry but offered 0 other concessions for this. They also had us go back to the room and move all of our stuff rather than just saying pack it and we’ll move it for you. It was fine overall, but I prefer to relax on the beach on my vacation rather than moving back and forth to different rooms. Anyway, this gave us a chance to check out two villas - I included pros and cons of both below. The famous beach “Frenchan’s” is the best part of the resort. But it’s been pretty quiet the whole time we were here, so you can see it for 25USD as a day trip. You don’t really need to be staying here to get a good spot or anything.||Beach|Pros - gorgeous photo opps, beautiful, sandy, cool how the water is a mix of l cold to warm||Cons - small, limited shade if it gets busy, still need to pay for beach chairs even if you’re staying at the resort, restaurant is very slow and disorganized (super nice folks but they forgot to preorder us breakfast twice when we asked, and the kitchen is so small, you could be waiting for a hot meal for 1-2 hours)||Villa 11 (West side)||Pros:|- Working wifi|- More bathroom space|- Small sea view||Cons:|- Shower didn’t drain properly - we made them aware but the problem only got worse to the point when the toilet was flushed, the contents of the toilet came up into the shower. Absolutely disgusting.|- Kettle was broken when we arrived (they replaced it when asked)|- no outlets in bathroom|- Outdoor area was not maintained - garbage, debris from fallen trees, patio stones crumbling||Villa 1||Pros:|- Gorgeous view of the sea|- Outdoor seating area|- Outdoor area is maintained more|- Outlets in bathroom||Cons:|- no wifi on this side|- Sliding doors don’t work except for the one that lets you in and out

We have spent several holidays at Frenchman's Cove Resort and every time it is amazing. Serenity, tranquility and beauty is the vibe. The clean, intimate, secluded villas with views of the jungle and sea allowed our guests both privacy and unique experiences, depending on the location each villa. The grounds are serene and well kept, tons of treasures to find throughout the resort, including a cliff edge cannon! There are 42 acres to enjoy and the best service on the Island! From the General Manager, office clerks, Mr Dean with security, sweet housekeepers, to the Pirates Cafe Manager, Chef and staff are SO attentive and go OUT OF THEIR WAY to create beautiful experiences for their guests. And for our rowdy group, they took amazing care of each of us and we are still talking about them and keeping in touch! KIZZY We appreciate you most! Being able to go to Blue Lagoon and Somerset Falls, both close by, makes your holiday complete! Thank you for making our wedding celebration so special for us and all of our guests!

This is not a 5-star hotel, it’s a 2 at best. The location is great but the place is very outdated, they had plumbing issues during our stay, had to change rooms twice since no water in the bathrooms. Access to the beach is a great plus but that’s all they have going for them.

What wonderful slice of paradise. Everything was amazing. The property has an awesome history and it insanely beautiful. The beach looks photoshopped, plus there is a pretty creek you can explore. We had great food at the resort. Kizzy and Niesha provided awesome service. Even going out of there way to make sure my wife had gluten-free options. We will 100% come back.
