Food was superb. One of the best canard I’ve ever had. Atmosphere was awesome, too. The entry reception could be better though. Nevertheless the server who served our table was really nice and friendly.

Google
The duck is really delicious, the sauce is amazing. However, the outdoor seating could be quite disturbing, with nonstop passengers walking way too close to you & the table(the restaurant is located in an alley).

If you are checking out this restaurant… don’t need to think … this is the place to be for the ‘canard ( the duck )’ lover in Paris. It was delicious for my dinner from appetizer to the end. very yummy :) Service is friendly and attentive which add up more point for this lovely place.

Loved it! Nice restaurant in a gallery passage full of small restaurants with a very cool concept - duck & champagne. Duo that could not disappoint! Awesome duck also the foie gras, lovely interior, and nice staff. Go here on your Paris trip!

Came here to celebrate our anniversary and was not disappointed by the food. Knowing it is a popular place, we made sure to reserve weeks in advance. The duck leg confit was done to perfection, especially paired with a glass (or two) of champagne. As you know the saying: champagne pairs well with anything 😏👌 I would recommend the fixed menu as it includes foie gras, a main course, a desert and a glass of champagne. Matter of fact, they have several different fixed menu of various combinations. 👌 Lastly, the place is quite energetic during night so might not be the ideal place if you like it quiet.

As the name of the restaurant shows, you can enjoy delicious duck and champagne. When I visited at 7pm, there were already several groups waiting, so making a reservation is recommended.

Google
Very nice tradition French food centres around duck! Their foie gras was delicious and well portioned and their duck breast main was perfectly cooked with an amazing sauce that really completed the dish!! Main is about 24 euros with a side. Just wish the sides were better? Mash potato and fries were just ok but veggies didn’t taste like much… overall a good experience and would recommend if you want duck! Service is nice

Google
I tried many restaurants in my first Paris trip, including those Michelin places. Although this place does not have fancy plating arrangements, everything was just amazing! It’s the first spot I’d go back to for sure.

Yelp
Imagine stumbling into a passageway in Paris, and then imagine that passageway being lined with the most adorable restaurants and shops. That's where you'll find Canard et Champagne. This was one of my mom's favorite places in Paris to visit, and so we made it a point to make a reservation. It serves a menu that does justice to its name - duck and champagne. Fabulous, right? I had the tasting menu that came with an appetizer (foie gras), entree (grilled duck breast), and dessert (chocolate mousse). WOWZA - I often say the mark of a good restaurant is being able to nail simple dishes with very few ingredients. It doesn't get more brilliant than a perfectly cooked duck breast with the most creamy mashed potatoes to match. The bubbles were bubbling- we opted for the private label brand at dinner which was great. They also do have cocktails. If duck isn't your thing, they also do have a burger which my brother opted for that was great. If duck is your thing, you definitely have to stop here. Cheers to a great experience.

Yelp
First time in Paris and tryouts this restaurant , the food was excellent and the staff very friendly, I tried the same order at different restaurant but this one was the best.

Yelp
This is a really popular place. It's in the Passage des Panoramas. The restaurant used to be a stationery shop. They only serve two things - duck and Champagne. I don't drink so it was all duck for me. The cold Foie gras was good. The duck was a little rare for me. You get lots of bread and butter. You need reservations even for lunch. But I sat at the little counter and didn't need a reservation for one. There's no smoking inside, but there was smoking in the tables in the Passage des Panoramas, where you didn't need reservations.

Yelp
My favorite restaurant for duck breast in Paris. Can't wait to go back and celebrate my birthday there in March.

Yelp
Wow. Wow. Wow!!!! This place is unbelievable! The duck was cooked so well and delicious! Ordered a whole duck breast and a Demi size, the Demi was not enough! We were all still licking the plates because of amazingly tender the duck breast was cooked! The foie gras also extremely delicious. One of the best so far! We are absolutely looking to return and relive the amazing experience here!

Yelp
Tucked away in a little alley way. We made reservations and got here a bit earlier and they'd at us right away. It did get pretty packed to try to make reservations. We had a salad and the foie gras as starters. The salad was nothing to write about. The foie gras was really good. It came with a sweet onion topping which really was a match made in heaven. For main, we got the duck confit. Skin was crispy, duck was so tender. It comes with veggies, fries and mashed potato. The fries and mash were really good!

Yelp
This was truly one of my favorite food experiences in Paris (and that's saying a lot). I stumbled over it while searching Yelp, and it's a good thing--you'd have to be in the little shopping passage to see it, and even if you did, you might not think much of it. With its casual charm and exceptional food, we thought the world of it. As the name suggests, it's all about duck and Champagne. We got to choose either duck breast, duck burger, or duck confit. We chose the breast, and they suggested an outstanding bottle of Louis Roederer Rose to go with it (we loved that so much that we bought a case when we got back to California). While the duck was perfect, the sides took our meal to a new level. It came with a nice foie gras, a wonderful salad, a side of delicious root vegetable puree, and fries cooked in duck fat. This was a very unpretentious bistro with a laser-focused concept and exceptional execution. In other words, a freaking gem. When we visited Paris, we were staying in the Opera House area. So C et C was just a short walk from our hotel. Next time we go, we just might have to stay in the same area so we can come back to this awesome place.

Yelp
The spot to go if you're looking for some amazing authentic French duck. This place has been around for 200 years. Menu is quite simple, there's 4 starter options and 4 main entree options. All entrees are some form of duck. I did the duck terrine and confit and both were delicious. The desserts were also exceptional. Highly recommend this spot.

Yelp
We made reservations the day before for 2 and the restaurant was filled up pretty quickly. It's located in the Passages des panoramas, but we sat inside so we don't have to sit with people walking by. I got the appetizer + entree + two wines. They did not have the appetizer + entree + dessert + three wines choice available. The duck foie grae was pretty good, but overall standard. For my entree, I got duck confit with potatoes on top, but it was pretty heavy so maybe I should have gotten the duck confit. The wines paired well with the meal. The service was good too!

Yelp
Ok Yelpers, this one was amazing! Was in Paris for a few days with my adult daughter and she wanted duck. Went to Yelp, and we reserved at Canard et Champagne. First off, it is in a passage, not on a street. We passed it and had to double back, but the passage was amazing, a hidden area with restaurants and it looked like postal stamp shops, of all things. We were seated quickly inside, which is a lovely room with a beautiful ceiling, a cool wooden archway, and a few seats were outside (if you prefer to be seated outdoors). The menu is simple: 1 starter and 1 main, 1 starter and 1 main with 1 glass of champagne, 1 starter and 1 main with 2 glasses of champagne, or 1 starter, 1 main, and 1 dessert with 3 glasses of champagne. There were two foie gras starters, but we had the salad and the asparagus special. Both were delicious, and came with a bag of bread, which was also very good. The first glass comes with the starter (which is an entree in France). Main course (le plat) also had 4 duck choices, breast, 1/2 or full, duck confit and a duck burger (can't remember the last choice). The special was a fish dish. We ordered a 1/2 breast and confit. It comes with three sides, a veg (ours was zucchini with onions in tomato), mashed potatoes, and frites. The breast was excellent! The skin was charred and the meat a beautiful medium rare. Tender and delicious. The confit was equally good, fell off the bone with crispy skin. All the sides were delicious. There is a full wine list and you can order more champagne or wine as you wish. We were too full for dessert, but they looked delicious. Not to mention, the wait staff was incredible! Very friendly with us foreigners who speak no French. It is a great spot for tourists (especially since the staff speaks excellent English) and locals. Definitely worth a trip!!

Yelp
On a quick trip to Paris, we decided we really wanted to have duck for dinner. A quick Google search led me to Canard et Champagne, and luckily they had a table available for that night! We did the appetizer + main + dessert course with 3 glasses of champagne. For appetizer, we both got the foie gras, which neither of us had had before. It was served with a delicious caramelized onion and toast and was delicious! For our mains, we both chose the duck breast which was cooked perfectly and came with three sides -- all of which were quite good. The pomme frites were crispy and complimented the duck breast very well. The chocolate mousse for dessert was light and airy. Location wise, this spot is just beautiful and we sat outside of the restaurant which added to the ambiance for us. A great spot if you're in Paris and want duck!

Yelp
very cute restaurant tucked away in one of the passages in paris, the location is great and lively, food is amazing. The duck confit was the best duck confit I ordered at a restaurant or brasserie while in Paris. Prices are very good as well, for two people getting appetizers and entrees my bill was €58. The sides that came with were French fries, mashed potatoes, and ratatouille. The ratatouille and fries were just so so but the mashed potatoes were really good, and the sides are also bottomless! Highly recommend

Yelp
Extremely slow and inattentive service. Waited 30 minutes to place our oder. Food came out fairly quick, but duck was very tough. I ordered the 2 glass special and only received one glass with our starter. Only after finishing our entree, waiting an additional 39 minutes, and having to flag down our waiter, did we receive our second glass.

Victoria K.

Yelp
Solid (well, liquid) water. It is cool but not cold. It comes in a glass. The best part was the refillable water for the table; it was a sleek refurbished wine bottle. Very classy.

Yelp
Great food at a great price. It's a bit noisy if you eat outside; however, its a nostalgic Parisian experience. Super casual but relaxing and no need for a reservation but they are preferred.

Yelp
OVERALL: I really debated about this rating, because I thought the foie gras was a 5/5 and the duck breast was a 2/5 at best. Overall would not recommend. I came here during my Paris vacation and was excited to try the foie gras and duck. My boyfriend and I both ordered the duck breast instead of the duck confit as per the waiter's recommendation. The foie gras was fantastic and they definitely give you enough, maybe even enough to share one among two people. Keep it mind though, that as per the restaurant name, it's duck foie gras and not goose foie gras. The duck breast was extremely disappointing, not because of lack of flavor, but the consistency was horrible. The meat was tough and chewy, and definitely not what I expected for the price and quality of other things at the restaurant. It made me wonder if my boyfriend and I just got a bad batch of ducks? Either way, it wasn't a good time.

Yelp
My favorite meal in Paris!! We went there for lunch, and had a great meal at a great price. It was very busy around 1pm so definitely recommended a reservation. Sitting outside in the passage des panoramas was so fun, the beer people watching. We had the gazpacho, duck confit and duck breast. The brought all the sides for us, and said we could have more if we wanted. Two glasses of champagne, only 50euros. Recommend to anyone looking for amazing duck in Paris that won't break the bank!!

Yelp
One of my favorite meals in Paris. The restaurant is located in the Passage of Panoramas, which is easy to miss but so so charming. They only offer pre-fixe menus that start with appetizer and entrée, topped with drink options. I had the gazpacho and duck confit. To my surprise, the meal came with unlimited sides - pomme frites, mashed potato and salad. The salad was not for me, but the frites and mashed potato were great. The service was lovely and they speak a good amount of English. I should mention that they charged an absurd 6.5 euro for a bottle of sparkling water.

Yelp
We were out touring the passages of Paris and hungry for lunch just sort of stumbled upon Canard et Champagne unintended. I initially didn't expect much because of the location but that expectation soon disappeared. Very friendly accommodating wait person and incredible duck confit and duck breast. It was a truly pleasant find!

Yelp
Worst service I've ever had in my whole life. We simply walked in and asked the waiter for a table for two. And then he got very angry at us saying that, "you need to say hello to me first, you cannot treat me like a dog!!!" I really have no idea why he is so angry at us. Is it because we are Chinese ? Or English speaker annoys him? He didn't even bother to show us our table, we sat at an empty table and then he came back saying that we cannot sit here. This place is really small and we have to share a table with other people. And then the waiter keeps saying that I'm blocking the aisle. Well if you place cannot fit me, that is something you need to fix. This is your place. Oh my god, we run away from the restaurant immediately. What a nice experience at Paris. All the people from the restaurant are so rude.

Yelp
If you've ever strolled through the Passages in Paris you know what a unique experience it is. And a stop at Canard et Champagne in Passage des Panoramas completes the experience. If you don't like duck this may not be the place for you but who doesn't like Champagne . In either case this is a culinary treat. With relaxed and friendly service and a bistro setting with modern vibes this is a perfect spot to enjoy a great lunch. We ordered Foie Gras and duck breast with sides. Served along with crusty bread in a paper "boat" adding to the charm. Everything was delicious. Who knew that a menu of duck and more duck could be so good. Of course the bubbly added to the festive atmosphere. Finishing off with a lemony creation that was sweet and tart at the same time. It was the perfect way to end our walk through this magical Passage. Can't wait to go back!

Yelp
If you like duck come here. If you don't like duck this is not for you. They don't try and do too much. What they do is brilliant. This was the best duck breast I have ever had and it may not be close. Small menu. Good service. Good sides and cocktails and absolutely amazing duck. Bon appetite

Yelp
Wanted to love this place but the service is horrendous! We arrived for a 2PM reservation on a Sunday, and they had run out of both first course options on the menu. It then took them an hour to bring us our entree. The duck breast and chicken entree were good, as were the cheesecake and chocolate mousse desserts. The set menu was 28 + 6 for a glass of champagne. By 2PM the place was not super busy and you probably could walk in and still get seated within 15 minutes.

Yelp
I got recommended by a friend that comes to France very often and I'm glad she told me. This place is worth it! We had the Duck Confit and the Duck Breast and both so very savory, juicy and a treat. We ordered fries as the side and needed to pair our meal with a wine. If you make time to come here be sure to try both items. Keep in mind the time because they do short lunches and short dinners. Service was great and gave English menus.

Yelp
Some of the best duck I've ever ever had!!! A must stop on your trip to Paris . It's as simple as the name, the best duck and the best champagne
google avatar

Grace M.

Yelp
Best duck confit I've ever had! This restaurant left me craving duck confit ever since. There is nothing complicated just simply good champagne and simply good food here! I can't wait to go back!
google avatar

Kelsey N.

Yelp
I scoped this place out before I even arrived in Paris - as soon as I saw duck and champagne I was in. It did not disappoint. My husband and I had the three course menu paired with three different glasses of champagne. The foie gras was excellent, as was the duck breast and lamb (special of the day). The vanilla bean custard with strawberries dessert was a great way to end the meal.
google avatar

Julie W.

Yelp
Had a great experience eating here! My friend and I both ended up ordering the duck burger, and we both enjoyed it very much. The ambiance is lovely, and the waitstaff were very helpful and attentive! They put up with our poor french, and ended up switching to English for us to give recommendations for wine and food. I would come back here.

Christophe O.

Yelp
Amazing!!! We went there twice in a week for lunch. The quality is simply amazing, the most tender duck breast I had in a long time, the burger was also delicious. Service is good and attentive. A must try!
google avatar

Sasha C.

Yelp
An absolute must if it's your first time in Paris. I've been visiting it every time since. Hidden little gem! The duck breast and foie gras are my favorites and you can get as many sides as you want! I love it
google avatar

Bat G.

Yelp
While small and somewhat out of the way, this restaurant is exceptional. It prepares one thing - duck - and prepares it extremely well. The wine is good, not great. Selection is limited, pricing is good and pairs beautifully with our dishes. If you enjoy duck, then this is a must!

Allie S.

Yelp
Canard et champagne is so so good!! What a lovely little restaurant in the cutest Parisian alley way, with the most delicious duck you can imagine. I had the duck burger and my husband had the duck breast and both were exceptionally good. I will be back and I recommend anyone who loves duck and wine to go there. The service was great too!

KJ L.

Yelp
Food is ok. My duck breast was a bit gamy. Portions are a bit small as are the glasses are wine. We had to wait a bit for our additional sides. Service was selective and not the most attentive or friendly. Seating is tight.
google avatar

Joanna W.

Yelp
Foie gras was delicious and they put a bit of salt/pepper/herb on it that brought out more flavor. The duck confit was amazing, a little salty for my taste but delicious nonetheless. Mostly professional French patrons so it was nice to eat amongst locals. The area is really cute too because the restaurant is situated in the Passage of Panoramas. Definitely recommend this place!
google avatar

Jacob L.

Yelp
Nice and simple concept! Really nice staff there. Had the duck confit and mashed potato and caramel profitterolle for dessert. Would definetly recommend going there!.

Eric L.

Yelp
The gigantic Louis De Funes poster in the back should have been a giveaway that this restaurant was a joke. Although the foie gras was good and staff was friendly, the duck confit was dry (inexcusable in a restaurant that exclusively serves duck), desserts were subpar and none of the champagne and duck pairing worked, which is why you are willing to pay the overpriced tab thay comes at the end of this farce in the first place. Only one word describes it: tourist trap.
