Frenchy's Palm Springs

My new favorite shop in Palm Springs! 2 wonderful ladies helped us and such a great selection.

I was recently in Palm Springs the second time. I was there 2 years ago and discovered Frenchy's.I bought the most beautiful clothes in 2022 and also in 2024. They have a great selection of women's clothes that are very flattering.

I want to thank the owner/manager of Frenchy's. I bought a pair of white capri pants from this store. When I returned to my hotel room, I tried them on and did not like them anymore. I returned them the next day only to realize there was a dirty hem on them?? The sales lady was reluctant to take them and I left them for the manager to look at. He came in 2 days later and easily cleaned the hem and and returned my money completely. I do realize that no store is under obligation to take back merchandise. Frenchy's did this as a goodwill gesture and I appreciate it very much. Thank you. I will return.

Fun and unique

Well- thanks to Naveen at the Margaritaville Resort I found a bathing suit at Frenchy's. I left the SF Bay Area on work trip without my darn bathing suit. The pools at the resort are bomb! So I asked the valet guys and Naveen called Frenchy's. I Ubered there and scored a cute suit at a fair end of season price. The sales woman was very helpful and accommodating. They had a good selection and I'm picky. The stores on this street are amazing- coming back for the Thursday night street fair for sure.

I have made my pilgrimage to Frenchies on every visit to Palm Springs for the last 20 years. This visit in 2023 did not disappoint. Go for the glam. Go for the shoes!

I don't live in Palm Springs but I visit there often and always make a stop at Frenchy's. Pam and Denise are both so helpful and nice to work with. Pam brings me things to try on that are "Out of my box"!! The selection is great and the customer service is top notch! I can't say enough but I highly recommend you check them out. I have introduced several of my friends to them and they all agree it is great!!!

This place cracks me up. It's been here for more than 50 years, and I swear the same people have been shopping - and working here the entire time. It's full of resort wear - silky dresses, lounging outfits, caftans (complete with rhinestones, metallic touches, sequins - the usual Palm Springs attire), thong sandals with beads and gemstones, crazy wide brimmed hats, bathing suits w/matching sarongs. Props to the salesladies, who feature cotton candy like hairdos - piled high in the sky, full macquillage and spike heels - and they must be pushing 80. You go, Frenchy's!

This place is a hoot and part of the Palm Springs scene. Colorful and unusual items, and like candy in a candy store, you want to dig in and taste a little of everything. Plus a fun staff who love to help! I adore the breezy styles with silk tunics and Moroccan cotton pants. Been going there for years and it never disappoints.

I just returned from Palm Springs, CA and am glad I had the chance to visit Frenchy's. I appreciated the assistance I received from the sales associate, she was great and extremely friendly. Very unique fashionable clothing with reasonable prices. I really wish I would have bought more when I was there :)

I love this place. I make the trip from Orange County just to go to Frenchys. No one else has the style of clothes they do and at great prices. They also carry the most comfortable shoes I've ever had. When I go, I usually buy 10 pairs in every color. Check them out!

I love this store! They have all my favorite brands--Onyx in shoes, Bali in leggings, Inside Out in tops (Made in USA). I just wish they had a website and I could order from it (Hint Hint) because I live in Colorado. In addition, the sales staff is very helpful.

There are more dress shops in Palm Springs than you can shake a palm frond at. Frenchy is worthy of your businesss because it has a broad variety of garments, prices are reasonable and the fashions are different than what you will find in other shops.

Beware! I have shopped in this store many times when visiting Palm Springs and have purchased some lovely items. My recent visit was very disappointing. I shopped during a sale where there were many sale racks and they told me everything in the store was at least 10% off. I purchased a dress that was on a sale rack and had two price amounts. I assumed the smaller number was the sale price. I got distracted during the purchase and did not question the price I paid. Overnight I realized that I may have overpaid for the dress. I returned to Frenchy's the next day to inquire about the price. The woman who spoke to me was rude! She questioned how I could have thought that the smaller number on the tag was the price (even though it was on a line that said "price"). When I said I wanted to return the dress, she very rudely told me I could only have store credit. Their receipt doesn't have this policy on it and I have never been advised or seen a sign in the store that returns are for store credit only. I will never shop in this store again because of the way I was treated by this woman and a store policy that is not clearly communicated!!!
