"One of the most elegant dining options on Fort Myers Beach, this waterfront raw bar and restaurant is a favorite for dinner overlooking the beach. For some serious indulgence, order the seafood tower for two, which comes loaded with oysters, sashimi, lobster tail, king crab, and Gulf shrimp. When in season, steamed snow and Alaskan king crab are also available. For the carnivores, there’s prime rib and filet mignon."

We had an incredible dining experience at Fresh Catch Bistro! Every single dish we ordered was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The scallops were perfectly seared and paired wonderfully with the creamy mashed potatoes and crisp snap peas. The glazed sea bass over rice was rich and savory, and the grouper with the vibrant tropical salsa was bursting with flavor and color.

Our friends asked us to go to their anniversary dinner. We had an incredible time at the Fresh Catch. The service is probably the best on the island.. The cocktails our first rate and the seafood was truly out of this world.

We had the absolute pleasure of being served by Michael during our dinner, and he truly made the evening unforgettable. From the moment we sat down, he went above and beyond to ensure that every detail of our experience was perfect. His attentiveness and kindness did not go unnoticed—he took the time to offer thoughtful recommendations, not just for our meal but also for things to do in the area, which made us feel so welcomed. What stood out the most was his incredible thoughtfulness toward my sister, the bride. He surprised her with a special gift, a gesture that was not only unexpected but also deeply meaningful. It was clear that he genuinely cared about making our evening special, and he did just that. Michael’s impeccable service, warm personality, and genuine hospitality turned what was already a wonderful meal into a truly memorable experience. If you're lucky enough to have him as your server, you're in for a fantastic dining experience. Thank you, Michael, for making our night so special!

Mary Ann our server was amazing. She made us feel welcome and gave us recommendations on food and desserts. I got the Pecan and Cranberry encrusted grouper and my husband got the Grouper Caprese. Everyone was so hospitable and warm. A definite step up from most restaurants in the area in our experience.

We were part of a party of 12. Our waiter was great dealing with all of our drink and meal orders. Many of us were ordering from their fixed packaged choice ($29.99) from a choice of 4 dinners and glass of wine. We chose the stuffed grouper, which was below expectations in taste and flavor and was room temperature when served. Some had the stir-fried choice, which they liked. Hard surfaced room makes it noisy.

Leiny Filiowich

Google
Mary ann was an amazing server. I got the lemon drop martini, scallops, & the oysters. Everything came in a timely manner and the service was even better :) Definitely worth it to dine here and great bartenders as well.

Google
Great evening! Our server, Kate, was sweet and took wonderful care of us. My husband and I were with another couple. We all thought we had the best thing on the menu. I had the Grouper Caprese With risotto-fantastic! My husband had the Miso Teriyaki Sea Bass and loved it. Our friends got the Spiced Pecan and Cranberry Crusted Grouper (amazing!) and a steak-which was wonderful. We would definitely eat here again!!

Google
Food was delicious. Had seared scallops. I have to eat gluten free as did 2 others in our group. Waiter was knowledgeable and when he wasn’t sure about a food/ sauce checked with the kitchen for us. Very accommodating to food allergies. Actually preferred this location to the last.

Yelp
This is my 4th visit to Fresh Catch Bistro. Glad they found a new spot after the hurricane. You can't go wrong with a single dish here and the staff takes amazing care of you (even special requests). 5/5 no doubt.

Sheila O.

Yelp
Bar was half empty and hostess said they are booked. Both bartenders were so rude. Bad food, bad service, every time I go in there. They monopolize Ft Myers Beach right now so they feel they can be rude. Bad management. I would fire both these bartenders. Many nice people looking for work. Fire the manager that allows rudeness just because they are busy!

Jean M.

Yelp
SO noisy! Food was very good but service was disjointed. Had to ask three times for our wine order, salads came out wrong, checks were incorrect. We couldn't even carry on a conversation without shouting and this was on a Wednesday night. I'd hate to think what weekends are like.

Yelp
Ugh so sad. Dinner and Drinks were just bad. Food not the same. Smelly fish? Gross! Had to ask if we were getting bread service after my soup arrived. Oh you want it now was the answer. like what? Key lime marg not the same. Service was lackluster for our table but he chatted up the other tables. The good? Nice space after losng the other to the hurricane.

Yelp
I don't even know where to start. If you are under 70 just don't go or you will throw the entire demographic off. Every dish was bland and the service was mediocre at best. Chargrilled octopus was neither charred nor grilled. Calamari, no seasoning with the batter just straight flour. Fish and shrimp entrees were dry and had no flavor. Added salt and pepper to both that offered little help. There was an issue with the bill and an item we didn't order and instead of saying "hey we messed up" they just brought back a bill with a higher amount after taking our credit card. Just an abysmal experience. If you want to be disappointed, by all means, go. Or just save some money and go literally anywhere else.

Yelp
I am saddened to have to write this review because this place was highly recommended by guests that were staying at our condos. Our first time at Ft Myer's Beach-- we will never return here. The only great food was the bread. Luckily as the oil was dropped we were advised there was pesto. I am allergic to pine nuts and requested an additional serving hold the pesto which was brought back quickly. The bread was so great we requested an additional serving. For an appetizer we ordered crab cakes and calamari. The crabs cakes were not any that I would ever recommend nor order again. The best part was the sauce on top. There was no crab taste in the crab cake. Maybe 80% breading and 5% crab and 15% other ingredients. Aside from the presentation frozen store bought crab cakes are likely way better. 1 to 10 these would get a 3 The calamari my friend ordered and I think the best part was the surprise sausage or bacon flakes. The calamari itself was okay but I felt there were more other fried accompaniments and less calamari. 1 to 10 these would get a 6 My friend had the cranberry pecan crusted grouper. She requested her fish be cooked a little more as she is newer to enjoying seafood. She enjoyed her dish with the exception that the chefs did not cook up her grouper. She was very happy with the flavor and the presentation. Because of her enjoyment but due to them not adhering to her prep request 1 to 10 this gets a 7 Lastly I was excited to try the sea bass. I love sea bass. The way it was offered on the menu was with a miso teriyaki. I am not a fan of sweet meat and prefer my sea bass with a lemon burr blanc. So I instead ordered the Mahi Mahi with the Caribbean Jerk, a side of bok choy and mushroom risotto each at an additional cost of $5 each. The flavor of the Mahi Mahi was decent but only the side that soaked the bottom of the juices they were sitting in. I think the chef gave me the overcooked fish instead of my friend. It was very tough and I could barely stand to get it down. The Mahi Mahi gets a 4. It had a lot of potential but I cannot get over how this $34 piece of meat was so tough and only the base containing flavor. The bok choy was decent but needed salt as was the risotto. I prefer my food to not require additional salt but happy it was readily available. They both get a 7 Our server was busy. When she finally came back to check on us and asked how everything was, I advised her it wasn't great. Her response- "Well everyone's pallet is different" well you don't say. She offered to prep another Mahi Mahi and I told her no. Maybe had she returned sooner there would have been interest. She offered me a dessert because she wanted me to leave with something good. One of the other reviewers suggested the chocolate cake and I love chocolate cake and figured this has to be good so tried it to go. It was not worth the calories.. so there it sits in the to-go container and on its way to the trash. I know restaurants are trying to return from what Ian did. If this place had flavor, was not so highly recommended and did not miss the mark on a good crab cake (which isn't hard unless you are cutting cost... where's the meat??) and did not overcook my fish-- y'all should be the experts here I would recommend. You should make your food up to par with the presentation or at least the bread.

Yelp
My husband and I had a lovely outdoor dining experience at Fresh Catch. our server Kate was great! The wine list had lots of offerings at different pricepoints. We had a nice Cab. The food was Amazing. Scallops were perfectly cooked and seasoned and the duck legs with crispy skin were very tasty. We had the crab cake appetizer. 3 crabcakes could have been my dinner. They were very good, not too bready like some places. and speaking of bread, the pesto and oil dip for the bread was so good. We couldn't stop eating it even though we were full. The pesto is apparently made without nuts so anyone with nut allergies can enjoy. Lastly we were gifted a delicious creamy chocolate cake for our anniversary dessert. Even hubby ate every last bite with me and he doesn't eat desserts very often. We will be returning while we stay in Ft. Myers Beach for the month. (Note: if you miss your turn don't use the side streets to get back, they dead end into canals. It's located in the Marina behind Publix.)

Yelp
Shrimp cocktail was out of this world! The bread and oil was excellent. The entrees were small and minimal... probably just ok. A bit pricey and lacking ambiance...

Yelp
After hearing a friend telling me countless times that I would love Fresh Catch , the happy hour, the menu , drinks and ambience, I decided to try it out. Left work early to make the Happy Hour, we got there at 2.30 and it was already packed . The view was breathtaking because of the water front . We ordered our martinis and appetizers immediately . I was pleasantly surprised with my martini , the quality and taste probably one of the best I've had at a HH. The four of us ordered an appetizer each and shared .. portion sizes are more than adequate. The icing on the cake was the service , the manager Jerry stopped by our table to check on the food and service which was very nice . The service although they were short staff that day was still better than most places with full staff. Will be definitely checking this place out for a meal . Heard that they are opening a place at Coconut Point which will serve more meat on the menu .

Yelp
My girlfriend and I decided to sit down for some appetizers and she got a drink. We got oysters and fried calamari. The Calamari wasn't bad but really nothing special. I felt like the plate was 70% peppers and 30% calamari but thats not the end of the world. The real issue for me were the oysters and the customer service more than anything. I thought the first two oysters I ate felt tough and had a strange texture but I didn't taste anything out of the ordinary. The third one hit me with a strange fishy taste and odor that I've never experienced while eating oysters. At this point I stopped eating them even though we ordered a dozen. My girlfriend had a similar experience only she spit out the third oyster. the shell that was left smelled rancid and when I told the bartender she immediately went to get the manager who didn't even look at me. Just took the plate and said "I took the oysters off-sorry you didn't like them." It was just very dismissive and I got the feeling like they didn't believe us or thought we were trying to scam some free oysters. It wasn't sincere at all and I definitely won't be back after that. The bar tender even came back over and said that the woman next to us had six oysters and didn't complain which again made us feel like they were trying to say that there was nothing actually wrong with the oysters and it was our problem. I eat oysters everywhere I go and I've never had anything like that happen but still if it was handled more professionally I most likely would have given them another try next time I'm in the area. The best part of the meal was the peppermint I grabbed on the way out.

Yelp
First off the managers were extremely rude to our party, we got sat down and wanted to leave until our waitress kate came! She was so sweet so we decided to stay thanks to her! The food was good we ordered the sea bass it was actually cooked perfectly! We shared fried calamari, and the grilled octopus! I would recommend the octopus it was perfect! Kate Thanks for making our dining experience wonderful! You were phenomenal!

Yelp
We got here early and they are open for happy hour from 3:30 -5 pm so we came in to enjoy the A/C and happy hour pricing. They have Erin and Danielle as bartenders for happy hour. Both were super friendly and attentive. Then we were sat for dinner and had a wonderful corner view table. Antonio was our server and he went above and beyond he offered us suggestions as well as informed us of the specials. He suggested the pecan cranberry crusted grouper out of the 2 since I couldn't decide. My husband chose the Jambalaya. The grouper was served with a mango salsa and citrus rice. It had a nice assortment of textures and flavors and was a perfect assortment of both. My husbands jambalaya had chorizo sausage , chicken, scallops, grouper. It was served over corkscrew pasta Since it was my birthday the brought out a piece Salted caramel cheese cake that said "Happy Birthday" on the plate. It tasted heavenly. Each and every employee was a pleasure, which is rare at this particular time. Can't wait to go back.

Yelp
My friend and I went Wed to try their special for Ladies Wednesday Night I phoned to make sure they are still offering all Drinks on the Happy Hour menu all night at the bar area & was told absolutely at the bar we were handed the regular drinks menu and when questioned were told that as per the owner they would not honor the special as advertised We left and will never return

Yelp
This is the best happy hour in all of Fort Meyers Beach. Every time I visit I hit this place at least twice. Happy hour starts at 3:30pm and people will line up for it because space is limited. You can't go wrong with $7 martinis and appetizers that are highly discounted. We will typically take the bus there a little early and stop at their sister bar Junkanoo and see when people start getting in line. It's also a really cute place but just a little more casual with some great beach views. After we will get in line and get in for food and cocktails. It's not a long happy hour but definitely worth it. There isn't anything on the menu that isn't delicious. My two favorites were the brussel sprouts and pork belly and the calamari. Both are fabulous! We also had the escargot which is another winner. Crab cakes, lobster mac and cheese, and coconut shrimp are also great choices. I wasn't a big fan of the caprese because I like a ton of basil on mine and there wasn't a ton of it. The service is impeccable, beach views are amazing, plus you always meet great friendly people there. It should definitely be on the short list next time you are in Fort Meyers beach.

Yelp
Went here for dinner with friends from Ft Lauderdale. Very nice place. Had dinner reservations for 5:45, but got there early and sat at the bar for a pre-dinner cocktail. Staff was very attentive and friendy. Dinner was very good. Presentation was.... well you can see my pictures. Service was excellent. The Chefs recommendation was excellent according to my wife. I had the Scallops. Was a little disappointed that for $38 dollars I only got 4 scallops, but the Lobster Risotto was excellent. It's a little down the road from the craziness of Downtown Ft Myers Beach, and they have their own large parking lot. That's a plus. We took a quick walk on the beach after dinner. Excellent evening.

Yelp
The staff members were very friendly & professional! The food was AMAZING!! My mom & I had such a wonderful experience.

Yelp
Many reviews of the hostess situation seem accurate. She's cold and short The staff acts like they've made enough money by 829 that they won't seat people at 830. Witnessed a group try to sit at bar high top at 830 on a Wednesday and have a server run over to them and tell them the kitchen is closed. But that he could give them one round of drinks. They walked out. We did have a relatively pleasant time sand at the bar. Thank goodness we ordered at 8:25 or we might've been in trouble. The bartender was friendly knowledgeable.

Donna I.

Yelp
Service was excellent the waiters knowledgeable about menu. View over the marina was calming and beautiful. Food was delicious we are the seafood but but there is beef and duck on the menu.
google avatar

Jessica D.

Yelp
Very accommodating. Great food, strong drinks!! I got a summer martini and could barely finish it because it was so strong, but hey, some people will love that! Haven't experienced a bad meal or bad service here! They also have a great happy hour!

Grace A.

Yelp
Great food great service, family atmosphere. Casual dining, reasonable prices, convenient.

Bill B.

Yelp
Walked in on a Friday night without a reservation and got "that look" from the hostess. Turns out you can get menu service at the bar, so we grabbed a hi-top table and ordered the Grand Margarita and A Day at the Beach drinks. Drinks were delicious and generously sized. I ordered Sesame Crusted Yellowtail Tuna and the Mrs had Pecan and Cranberry Crusted Grouper. Both meals were excellent!! This is not a T shirt and flip flops type restaurant, but the quality of the food is well above typical Florida fare and worth finding a collared shirt to wear!
google avatar

Amy P.

Yelp
So. The grilled octopus and fried Calamari appetizers were great. But. The oysters on the half shell were dry. The grouper franchise was tasteless, dry, sauce less... but the grouper caprese was really very good. Bay scallops were tasty although the sauce was on the sweet side, not my favorite but they were cooked well and presentation was great and they were good. Cocktails were divine (day at the beach and choco tini). Overall for the price a disappointment. The ambiance is beautiful. Love dining overlooking the water and the waiter was attentive. Just at this price point we expected more

Alex I.

Yelp
Amazing service & even better menu!! Do not skip out on the limoncello cake, so good we forgot to take a photo

Yelp
Always a great meal. The Mahi Mahi is melt in your mouth delicious; I get it every time we eat here. We had a great dinner last Saturday, celebrating my uncle's 75th birthday. Amazing food, fabulous cocktails, and outdoor water views. Can't wait until next time!

Yelp
Our appetizers and meals were delicious. Our drinks were well made. And the view of the inlet is beautiful. We'll be back.

Yelp
We had dinner with family last Sunday, eagerly looking forward to experiencing the new location. So very disappointing. The food we chose......octopus appetizer, grilled grouper ....was quite good. The service was awful, as we waited about 15 ministers after seating for a server to come to our table. Server handed us our plates , as in a diner. Our table was never cleared. We simply requested our check, and left. Fresh Catch is no longer on our list of great seafood experiences.
google avatar

Danielle L.

Yelp
My family and I made a reservation for my Saturday birthday! Despite us being 10 min late, we were still greeted with a welcoming smile and seated right away. The service was phenomenal overall, shoutout to our server Mary Ann, but the food was better than I ever could've imagined. I had never tried a majority of the fish options on the menu, so I was very satisfied to step out of my comfort zone and thoroughly enjoy the variety of featured dishes we ordered. The view was incredible as the sun was setting, almost wish we sat outside however I enjoyed the fact that we still got a view without dealing with the oceanfront wind.
google avatar

Yelp
I'm sure in season you would need reservations but in August it was not crowded. It is on the Gulf side and had wonderful views. Caesar salad needed anchovies, otherwise it was perfect. The wife says the Lobster Bisque was better than Legal Seafoods in Boston. The Pecan/Cranberry encrusted grouper with mango citrus spice brought an interesting mix of flavors. Spouse got a rather boring fillet of snapper with some crab meat. (Oscar). The cocktails were good and I had a pomotini. I won't say what the spouse got since I would probably make fun of the cranberry juice and vodka ingredients. So we asked about dessert. The salted caramel cheesecake came highly recommended. It was VERY good. Three drinks, appetizer, two entrees and a single dessert we shared was $180 with gratuity.
google avatar

Savahnah P.

Yelp
Our server Tommy raved about the spiced pecan & cranberry crusted grouper and the salted caramel cheesecake so of corse I had to try them -- they did not disappoint!! The food was unique and delicious and the view was beautiful. I would definitely come back here.

Yelp
One of my favorite restaurants. Enjoy the beachfront view while drinking cocktails and eating delicious cuisine. Martini: Creamsicle Appetizer: Grilled Octopus Entrées: Crispy Duck, Grouper Caprese, and Hogfish.

Yelp
Food was great! We had a big party dining in. Tables were ready early with a great server, Jackie. Food was prepared quickly and was delicious. Fresh caught seafood and pictured is the sirloin steak. Brussels sprouts were amazing. They had outdoor dining option as well. The only downside was the hostess. We had to wait 5 minutes for the tables to be cleared. No biggie. Manager told us to go sit at the bar. The hostess came over and said kids were not allowed to sit at the bar, and that we would have to go to Junkanoo to wait. No kids at the bar was understandable, but Junkanoo is another bar. She was also rude to the party behind us.

Melissa S.

Yelp
Save your frustration ! Horrible service , poor management . Coming from a group of past servers , bartenders . Previously have been there and was a strong 7 out of 10 . Waiting 15 plus minutes for a cocktail , an hour and a half for cold food and to top it off the manager was very rude when I mentioned the food being cold . For a 2.5 hour experience I would go elsewhere .

Yelp
Our best meal of the week. If you seek water views, this is ocean front on the beach. The seafood was excellent, very fresh and well prepared. My hogfish had layers of flavor- saffron rice, moist fish with crisp skin sear, asparagus, Lump crabmeat and hollandaise sauce. The octopus was tender yet firm. Scallops had a perfect sear and tasted great. You'll pay a bit more, but you get an upscale meal, with service to boot. We will be back. Bonus, there is free parking on premises.

Robert K.

Yelp
We were regular customers and always enjoyed every aspect. Last group of 8 at our table were disappointed with slow service at table from bar and the waiter totally screwed up our orders. Didn't seem to really care. I was told that many usual staff members of places are going to the new Margaritaville and causing staff shortages on the beach. We will put this place on pause until things settle down.

Yelp
Party of 6 We made a reservation as was recommended here and everything was ready when we arrived. Unfortunately the weather was not that great but once it stopped, the view was amazing. Food was very good. Oysters and Lobster Mac n Cheese are a great appetizer. Dinner was delicious as well! They brought out a dessert for our daughter's birthday too! The salted caramel cheesecake was delish! Rebecca was a fabulous server! She was very attentive and sweet! Definitely recommend this place!

Yelp
Unfortunately the original Fresh Catch Bistro on the beach is gone. The "new" location is located next to Snook Bright marina. Dinner was excellent, both had Scallops one seared the other blackened but both very tasty. Shrimp Cocktail appetizer, they were large and tasty. Try their martini's, the Key Line or Upside Down Pineapple. Service was friendly and excellent.

Matt H.

Yelp
Excellent restaurant! Crab cakes appetizer and a New England Chowder for starters. The chowder is possibly the best I've ever had!!! Grouper Caprese main course was awesome.

Robin Jaye L.

Yelp
Food was amazing and so was the service. Tommy, our waiter, did an excellent job of making certain our night was one to remember. The pecan and cranberry grouper was so delicious! My ONLY thought would be to no do the chocolate martini and the chocolate cake for dessert. Personally, I thought the martini was OK but the cake was AMAZING!

Margie P.

Yelp
We had a wonderful waitress and a beautiful view of the Bay, however the food was ordinary. My salmon was over cooked even though I took the chef's suggestion of having it prepared medium. The salsa served with the salmon was good which helped with how dry the salmon was. the vegetables were undercooked making the carrots a little too crunchy. the bread and olive oil was very good. my husband had the octopus. One of the 3 pieces was overcooked. I hope Fresh Catch improves.

Yelp
One of our favorite restaurants so there was no questions we were going there for our 44th wedding anniversary. When I called to make reservations, they asked if we were celebrating anything and I told them we were. I didn't really think any more about it since so many restaurants just ask and that's the end of it. When we arrived, the hostess immediately wished us happy anniversary and they sat us at a beautiful table in the corner with those gorgeous views of the beach and the gulf. Erin was our server and was so attentive. I ordered the grouper caprese and it was out of this world. It was served on a bed of risotto and topped with bits of tomato and basil. The mozzarella was melted on top with balsamic dressing drizzled on the top. Wow! What a meal. To say I would highly recommend it is an understatement. My husband started with the lobster bisque which was served with a piece of lobster meat in the center. It was thick and rich. He also raved about his blackened grouper. We ordered after dinner drinks and to our surprise, they served us a piece of chocolate torte on a decorative plate. I've posted a photo of that. It was just the perfect end to an outstanding evening.

Yelp
Last year was not able to get into this place so before he headed down to Ft Myers Beach we made reservations. Great atmosphere! We came early and had martini's at the bar. Delicious. Was seated Antonio's section on the patio. He was a delight. Informative, friendly and great sense of humor. We also had the following. Bacon Wrapped Scallops, Hogfish Oscar, Teriyaki Sea Bass, lemoncello cake and pistachio cake for dessert. All wonderful. One of the best places we have eaten on this island. Will make sure to make reservation before we come next year.

Denise M.

Yelp
My husband and I attended a wedding celebration on Oct 14th. We can not say enough about this restaurant it's food and it's amazing staff. Everything was so delicious from the crab cakes, calamari and caprese salad appetizers. , two choices of salads or soup and 5 choices of entries. ALL AMAZING Our server Hallee was awesome. We were never wanting of anything including drinks. Our friends also experienced the same service with their servers, Tommy, Mary Ann and Lexi. The outdoor deck was the perfect setting with plenty of privacy for our event. They were extremely accommodating to us even though we were past their closing time. Definite 5 stars. We will without a doubt be back. One of our new favorite places

Yelp
Food was amazing, scallops and especially the sea bass were excellent! Our server, Becky, was great, she was attentive , knowledgeable and very friendly ! We felt so good about our special night out on our spring vacation, we are so excited to return!

Yelp
We are avid diners and had heard great things about this restaurant. The restaurant was not busy and one would expect your server to have the time to check in on you quite often. Unfortunately this was not the case. We went without water refills, we had to flag her down on multiple occasions. We ordered a crab cake appetizer which the smell was rancid and the taste was so awful. It was definitely bad fish. We told the server about it and asked for it to be taken away as the smell was so disgusting. She apologized and cleared some plates, leaving the crab cakes behind. We had to flag her down to please take it away. Our meals were delicious thankfully. Then once the check came (crab cakes still on the bill) she was overall attentive. For what we paid you expect fine top notch service, unfortunately this was not it. Highly disappointed.

Yelp
This place was a long time favorite in its old location on the beach. While I miss the unforgettable sunsets, it was nice to see them reopen so quickly in a fitting atmosphere for their two concepts (Fresh Catch Bistro and Junkanoo Below Deck). The food was soooo tasty, as usual. I tried the miso teriyaki sea bass and it was incredible. The cranberry crusted grouper was also to die for. Service was fair, consistent, and attentive. I do wish that the waitress had been a bit more outgoing/friendly. I had one pretty major complaint (which is why I shaved off one star) that was shared by my whole table: the cocktails use Smirnoff, which shocked me to find at a fine dining restaurant that still charged $14-16 a drink. Smirnoff was what we all drank in college, and certainly not what you'd expect to see at an establishment of this caliber. I definitely expected more classy and unique offerings on their cocktail menu that would more accurately compliment the food.

Yelp
Fresh Catch was recommended to us as a very nice restaurant with an amazing sunset view. It was our 36 year anniversary and being from Chicago where we haven't seen the sun in 2 weeks, we put in our reservation! We were not disappointed. We had Beautiful ocean view with panoramic windows- this is why we come to Florida in the winter! I ordered the shrimp Caribbean Jerk with Thai rice (which I LOVED) and my husband had the pan seared scallops- we were both very happy with our selections. Our waiter "Tommy" was THE BEST, very attentive, offering suggestions when asked, lowering and raising the shades when asked and then surprising is with a fabulous dessert on the house for our anniversary! It was a wonderful dining experience!

Yelp
There were three people in our party, none of us had eaten here before. We were very impressed just walking in! The view was absolutely amazing with all the windows... and they offered outside seating as well! Be sure to make a reservation before dark so you can enjoy the view!! Not to mention the variety of food choices and artistic presentation of options. We had the calamari appetizer. It was cooked perfectly with a light crunchy batter and an absolutely delicious marinara sauce. The Grouper was perfect, the pecan/cranberry encrusted grouper was also cooked perfectly and all beautifully presented! Best of all, we had Kyle as our waiter. He was professional, knowledgeable, and most accommodating! We made reservations for 2 weeks later and requested him again. What an amazing gem on the beach!!!

Yelp
We went with friends to the Fresh Catch in Fort Myers. Thought to suppport the FM beach area restaurants, after the devastation of IAN Lovely atmosphere! Comfortable restaurant. HOWEVER, the scallops that my husband ordered was OUTRAGEOUSLY expensive. Four scallops. Eight green beans and a cup of white rice. FOUR SCALLOPS!! Tasty, but ridiculously priced!! Worth 12.50 per scallop... NOPE! Truly can't say we would recommend this restaurant. EXTORSION. Other restaurants that have scallops are just as tasty and within a normal, customary price range! Unless you like wasting your money, may want to choose another restaurant.
