Fresh Coast Cabins

My husband and I stayed in Fresh Coast Cabins cabin #4 this past weekend. The cabin itself was very cozy. It had a nice little kitchen and dining area, cute living room, and 2 comfortable bedrooms. We made use of the grill as well. The cabin is on well maintained grounds right on Lake Superior which was awesome! I already can’t wait to come back next year.

What a dream to spend 2 nights with Lake Superior at our door! Our little cabin was so warm and cozy that we kept the windows open all day and night so we could hear the wind and waves—and this was in early November. I really liked the feel of the place. I was born in the UP and it is odd for me to see how built up some of the more remote areas have become. But Fresh Coast is comfortable while still keeping in harmony with the rugged beauty of the Keewanaw Peninsula. Will def return.

This is our 3rd visit over 4 years; our goal is annual visits. Love the cabins, love the ambience of the property, and love the views and sounds of Lake Superior. Communal firepit, nice way to meet other travelers. Each cabin has its own view of Lake Superior. We've stayed in 3 of them so far (#4 this trip, #6 and Log Cabin prior trips); they each have their own personalities! No cell service, unless you walk to the corner of the front building to access wifi hotspot; but if you can choose to stay disconnected and it feels good! Cassette tape players in each cabin, so if you have any old cassettes laying around, you can bring them and play them! And the only radio station that was coming in strong was a country station from Thunder Bay, Canada. Such a special place, Fresh Coast Cabins and Copper Harbor area.

Cabin 5 (5 ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️) We absolutely loved our stay at Fresh Coast Cabins on Lake Superior! 🌊 The location is perfect, private and tucked away, yet just a short drive to town. The cabin had everything we needed, with all the comforts of home while still delivering that authentic “up north” feel. The views of the lake are simply spectacular, and you can tell every detail has been thoughtfully planned-they really thought of everything! We especially appreciated that they have a dog-friendly cabin, so our sweet pup could either relax inside out of the heat or head out on adventures with us. 🐶 Such a thoughtful touch that made our stay even better. There’s even a sauna on site (we didn’t get the chance to use it this time, but it’s such a bonus). Our only regret was that our stay was too short. Next time, we’ll be booking a full week to soak it all in. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a true Lake Superior getaway!

Fresh coast is a delightful place. We brought our dog, thereby staying in cabin 5, described as 'rustic' and meaning appropriately dog proof. Other cabins have been completely renovated. Our cabin was freshly painted and furnished. It had tastefully chosen towels and housewares with so many thoughtful touches (ceramic dog bowls!) We were quite comfortable and would only ask for a good reading light in the living room. The tankless hot water heater is a marvel. Everything you need to cook, if so inclined. The location is both convenient to Copper Harbor and in a stunningly beautiful spot. Dark skies give you the Milky Way every clear night. You will love it.

We just returned from an amazing getaway at Fresh Coast Cabins, and we're already dreaming about our next visit! The cabins are the cutest and equipped with everything you need. The view of Lake Superior is breathtaking, perfect for morning coffee. And don’t miss sneaking out at night to catch the stars. Highly recommend!

Had a wonderful 2 night stay at Fresh Coast, Cabin #7. Cabins are really cute and have everything you need. We had a great time around the community fire pit and the on site host Megan was so nice! Sad to hear she won’t be back next year. We also booked a sunset sauna experience, which was a highlight! Location is great, being close to Cooper Harbor so we could visit the art fair and have a final beer at Brickside before they close. Will absolutely visit again, definitely want to join in on a Friday pizza night!

Stayed in cabin 7 and enjoyed the sauna after a 6 day backpacking trip to Royale. Megan was a queen 👸accommodating our ferry delay and very late arrival. She made sure we had everything we needed. Our cabin was cozy and so comfortable. The fancy snack basket was such a treat. Amazing but short stay. I’ll be back again! Again thank you Megan for your wonderful service ❤️
