Kingsway Lemongrass

There's an old Vietnamese restaurant in Vancouver. The food has been around for a while, and the service is fairly average. However, it could use a bit of updating to make it more inviting. The window is quite dirty, and the interior is also showing its age. They might consider creating a fresh, new atmosphere to help guests enjoy their meal even more.

This visit was back in May this year when we were taking a whole day prenatal class just across the street. We only had an hour break and needed somewhere close to eat something quickly. We came with no expectations but left with satisfaction. It was a Saturday around noon, and it was surprisingly quiet. We had a peaceful time. The place was casual but clean. Both drinks were very good and the Vietnamese sandwiches were great. Service was not as fast as we would love to have, but it was not too slowly that we would be too late to the afternoon session of our class. If you want a quick bite, this might not be the quickest option. If you have some time to relax, I reckon this place is a pretty good choice!

Every time we are in Vancouver and craving Vietnamese food, we come here. My kid loves the spring rolls here, she wouldn’t eat spring rolls anywhere else. Food is always consistently good with generous portions. This restaurant never disappoints me!

The pork spring rolls are the best I've ever had. I had the pho and the mango smoothie, and both were so delicious. The staff was good, and the service was prompt.

went here for an early dinner and had a bowl of seafood hu tieu. the noodles came quick and overall was very delicious; however i found the broth was slightly salty near the end. my friend ordered the rice pork chops and i love how they seasoned the meat! definitely would come back to try the braised duck egg noodles since i rarely see it available in restaurants!

Great food, great music, great service. I enjoyed the House Special Pho, cold sweet coffee and a green waffle for dessert. So delicious and the servers were very nice 👍

This place is good, haven't been here for a while. Their crispy spring rolls are seriously good. Bún is good but i like the portions/size of Super Bowl in Burnaby better for this dish. I got the crab special soup here and it was good 👍🏻 solid 4/5

The Food here overall was all quite tasty. The family overall enjoyed everything that we ordered. The washrooms were quite clean which is rare to see in asian restaurants so this is a big plus. Dining space has a good amount of seating and can accommodate kids (there were quite a few tables with kids at them) The service however could be better. I don't expect a high level of service these days as I know it is just rare to get them these days. But the person taking our order and helping us throughout our meal looked like she did not want to be there and was very dismissive to our family when requests were being made..... I would maybe order the food as take out but not sure if I would return for dine in based off of this.
