Vegan, vegetarian dishes are served here. It's not a salad bar. You can customize your order but there are items from the menu to order. It's located in historical building. I liked the food a lot. The atmosphere was OK. Not a fancy place. I would go back for healthy options.

We came here because of a coupon we received for participating in the "Run Into the New Year" race. I had no idea there was a poké place in the Milwaukee area! The staff at the counter was friendly and helpful. The menu was small, but delicious and featured raw ahi tuna, raw salmon, cooked chicken, and vegan options available. The salmon bowl with the mango is awesome.

I just learned about this place a couple of weeks ago and I have gone back 3 times. In some restaurants you hit a good day and sometimes not...well I haven't had anything but a delicious feast at FreshFin Poke! Build your own bowl or get their specialty bowls, it makes no difference...they all have been great! The place is very popular so I suggest on Friday to get there early!

I’m not a very big sushi fan but this restaurant has a pretty good variety and hits all the taste buds, I enjoyed the spice my meal had. Nice and clean and friendly staff.

If I could eat this every day, three times a day, I would eat this every day, eight times a day. A good life. I am writing this before I have eaten this bowl and all I can think as I am writing is the way bowls from Third Ward make me feel before (good) and during (good) and after (good) I eat them, the way the bowl was handed to me... how simpatico we are. Fifteen stars out of five.

Love this place! My favorite is the Sweet Avo. This one is the Spicy Tuna, really good, too! The only thing I am disappointed about is the removal of Kimchi from the menu.

Fresh food, good portions and friendly staff. Also, unlimited toppings! It's to your left once you enter the building.

This place is really amazing! We stumbled upon it while shopping near Milwaukee Market. The ingredients are really fresh. We ordered 2 proteins - the tofu and the tuna. Both were so good. They have so many ads ins, toppings, and sauces to choose from. You really can't go wrong. It is on the pricey side, but worth it. We easily got 2 meals out of the larger portion. Will be back for more! Oh, and bonus - there's a donut shop nearby although, you have to get there pretty early before they run out of dang donuts! ha

FreshFin - so darn good! It has ruined poke for me at all other places. Well, besides Hawaii. Food. HUGE selection - from build your own bowls, to preselected options if you don't know where to start. Which is nice in case you're a newbie or have decision fatigue. Their fish is super fresh, as well as all their toppings. Highly recommend getting some sort of combo with their sweet shoyu and spicy mayo sauces - such a killer combo! They offer 2 bowl sizes. Honestly, the smaller one is HUGE and good enough. It's huge. And I'm usually a bigger eater, and the smaller bowl is PLENTY of food. Ambiance. Great spot to grab a quick, casual bite. Even a casual date spot. You order food at the counter and grab it when your name/number is called. I love this place because you get a ton of food - and fresh, raw fish, for the fraction of the price of sushi. Service. Can't complain - I have always gotten everything I ordered on my bowl, and the staff at the registers are always super friendly. Can't say enough about this place - highly recommend this spot if you want poke. They have several locations in Milwaukee and Madison!

This was definitely more of a legit poke bowl than the one I had at Fusion Poke a while back. I've been asking around friends after the Fusion Poke experience whether the rice is supposed to be cold in a poke bowl. Everyone who knows poke told me NO. Rice is supposed to be warm, though not hot. Fresh Fin has it going right! Just the right amount of warmness to the rice to keep the other ingredients fresh and sassy. I had the spicy tuna today cuz I was in a hurry and didn't want to fool around trying to make my own bowl, though that is usually my way to do these guys. It was a good choice. All the veggies were nicely balanced, the tuna was fresh, and the spicy sauce was on point. Not quite the Hawaii experience, but almost there. The location is downtown, so expect to pay for parking. I had an appointment in the same building, so it worked out for me. The restaurant isn't a stand alone building, but a cafeteria style location inside the building. They have seats by the window and two small tables to the side, but it's more of a pick up place than a place I'd like to sit and dine. The server was nice. She was wearing gloves and masks, though she kept the same gloves on to do everything, from arranging the drinks in the display case, accepting payment (though it's a no cash establishment), and putting the lid and placing my food in the bag... So I'm not sure she quite understood the point of wearing the gloves. It's not to keep your hands clean! Overall, I'd go back if I'm in the building again, though I'll probably go to their other location if I want to dine in.

The food here is just delicious. I had the mango tango, and the balance of flavors was excellent. I loved the options for the base, including mixed greens, Kale, brown or white rice and quinoa. I did the brown rice. I wish I had tried the zucchini noodles for even more veggies. My 8 year old ordered a build your own bowl with tuna, carrot, mango and rice, and literally ate every little bit in her bowl. My husband, who isn't the most health-conscious dude loves the Kalua pork. I was worried it was going to be not fattening enough for him. (His favorite food is a burger with a friend egg on top) he loves his food and wants to order again next week. I should also mention that this place had our food ready super fast, and offers both carry out and curbside pickup. No pictures because we gobbled our bowls up too fast!

I love FreshFin. This was my first visit to the Third Ward location, and the consistency of excellence transcends. The service is friendly and prompt, the atmosphere is cute and clean, and the food is fresh and delicious. FreshFin remains my favorite poke place in Milwaukee. I stopped in over lunch for a pick-up ordered through the Ritual app, which was super convenient - out the door in just a couple of minutes! I went with the Spicy Tuna Bowl, which is excellent - the tuna is fresh and plentiful, the veggies are crisp, and the sauce is to die for. The flavors are spot-on, and the toppings are a perfect balance to the rice. The portions are good for the price. There are plenty of menu options and customizations that can be made as well, always a perk. I can't say enough good things about FreshFin! Looking forward to returning - I would eat here for lunch every day if I could.

Of all the poké available to me after work in the Third Ward, this is the place I keep coming back to. Clean, fresh, and a great price, I have needed to get myself a rewards card I am coming so often.

Still my favorite place for Poke in Milwaukee and wanting to share my love for the amazing food here, I brought my daughter for dinner. To be honest, she wasn't at all excited to go here. The thought of raw fish was so unappealing to her but I convinced her to come along because they have non-fish options too. I'm happy to report that she loved it too (she chose the chicken) and when I asked if she'd come back, she said YES! My bowl was fantastic as always (vegetarian and Ahi tuna) but I always have the tendency to make everything a couple notches too spicy and here is no different. I loaded up with most of the toppings while my daughter opted for just a few so she was finished before I was (I also had rice and she had lettuce). She made a good point though about the potential value difference although next time I think she'll load her bowl up a bit more. I didn't expect this location to be as busy as it was for a weeknight around 6:30pm but there was a steady stream of customers while we were sitting here. The customer service here is friendly and the wait for food is literally just a few minutes. This is a great place to stop in quick if you want a healthy, affordable option and just as nice to sit and chat with friends in the clean, open dining area. If you haven't been to Fresh Fin yet, check it out. There's fresh and delicious options for every palate!

Located in the third ward, FreshFin Poke is exactly that: fresh! Try it with a side of creamy siracha mayo. Another thing is that they do not skimp you on the protein, which is great since most poke lovers love raw fish. I've also tried the spicy tuna bowl which is also good but my favorite is still the mango bowl. The creator of this menu REALLY knows food and I'm really impressed by it. Great for people who do not like raw fish as well because they have cooked meat options AND vegetarian options that my vegetarian friends really enjoy, so there is something for everyone.

I love Poke. Super fresh, healthy meal and a welcomed change from your typical salad. I always opt for a base of mixed greens as I did today with the Spicy Tuna, a customer favorite. The service was great too.

Love this place !! With lots of poke restaurants starting to serve poke in mke, freshfin to me is the original and the best for me. It's very price affordable and we're always so full at the end of our meal. I love getting the build your own bowl and trying new ingredients in it each time. Some of my favorites are the shrimp and salmon with white rice and lots of veggies and the classic sauce. No matter what you get in it, you can't go wrong with fresh and delicious ingredients and toppings. I do love to splurge and add the crab salad on top but that's the only extra item I need to pay for. And if you don't know what to order ! They have lots of preset options to choose from too! I've been to the east side and the third ward location and have had great service at both. Everyone who works there is so helpful for my friends who are really indecisive. Had especially amazing service at this location !

This was my first time at this FreshFin location. It's smaller than North Ave but same aesthetic and menu. I'm a fan of their interior design and menu options. But the downside was that it took 34 minutes for our bowls to be made. The young lady at the counter said that it would take awhile since she was the only one working there. We thought maybe 15 minutes, but it was quite a bit more. Four other people came and left during that time, seeing no one at the counter. I hope that it was a one time issue or that the employee advocates that management ensures more assistance because how stressful for her! Food was great, but the wait time was excessive.

I really like this small poke place. Nice and clean. Super friendly staff. Their poke bowls are always delicious and perfect in size. Every time I feel full - in a good healthy way - after eating here.

I was fairly nervous to try any of the Poke places in town because to me it sounds like fast food sushi...which makes me nervous. But after seeing FreshFin at the top of the yelp lists I knew I had to try it out and I am impressed. It was delicious. The women who took our order so friendly, sweet and helpful. She got us signed up for their rewards program, made a recommendation and was so quick and efficient. We all three got the spicy tuna bowls with brown rice and it was served so quickly and looked so nice. The spicy was perfect for me, I am kind of a lightweight, and it was great! I demolished my bowl and then she even cleared our plastic bowls for us which was so sweet and unnecessary. I can't wait to try something else here. Yum!

FreshFin is a great place to go for a quick take out order. They do have a couple tables at this location, but I would recommend getting carry out since it's a pretty small space. There are tons of options for what to get in your bowl, and they're all super tasty and on the healthier side of things. It's definitely my go to place to grab a quick dinner after Orange Theory and it's the quickest walk from tons of work out places.

Great poke bowl joint in Third Ward for some healthy fast-ish food options. Came to FreshFin before a show at the Riverside and both had a build your own bowl. Love so many free add ins to make it exactly to my liking AND that I can get 2 types of fish and 2 bases (grain and mixed greens, for example). Also so close to the Hop we could have left our car in Third Ward and taken a quick ride. We opted to move our car only.because we forgot it was an option. The Yelp check in 10% off was a super awesome surprise!

This was my first time at this location. I have been in the building before for Holey Moley and knew where it was. We found street parking but it was with a coin meter. We put in some change and hoped for the best. Of course we came out and saw a ticket flapping in the wind. The only downside to this location is a parking issue. The front where Fresh Fin is, is nice and bright. There is some window seating as well as some tables. They have the same window set up as the other location. With an impossibly high window for the food to come out. The cashier was very bubbly and friendly. She had purple streaks in her hair. We knew what we wanted and ended up getting the spicy tuna bowls which run about $13.00. I'm on a low carb diet and was happy to see they offer the bowl with mixed greens instead of rice. They also offer a 10% discount when checking in on Yelp! Score! The poke' was fresh and plentiful. Jalapenos on the top added to the spice. My daughter goes to school downtown and I can't wait to stop again. (without the parking ticket though)

After having visited the North Ave location, I wanted to come try this one again! The food was delicious as expected and glad I got some new friends to try it out. We reached there around 11.30 am which is right before lunch hour and glad we came in slightly early because it gets super busy during lunch hour. The reason I have this as a 4 and not 5 star is because of its location and seating space. There is extremely low seating space around this joint. Most people coming out for lunch would like to sit and eat after getting their food, but while we say and ate our food, we saw a good amount of people just standing there for a seat to open up. The food quantity for a regular bowl is pretty sufficient and fills you up after the meal. Very very flavorful and I highly recommend trying this place out.

Very into FreshFin. I've been to the newest location out in Brookfield and was excited to come with people who haven't had it before. We didn't know anything about this location so we were a little surprised to show up and find that it wasn't a standalone shop, but more like a mini food court. I only dropped a star because it was cold in there and people were opening the door to get in/out for Fauntleroy which was also attached, so no uninterrupted meal here. However, this place always leaves me happy and satisfied. I got the Spicy Tuna, without Jalapenos and just the smaller size. I still felt full and the fresh in the name is no exaggeration. Plus the girl working the counter was really helpful explaining a coupon for us and then made sure we were all set before we left. You don't see that a lot with fast casual places, and it went a long way.

This location has all the vibes of Fresh Fin on North Ave but in a more compact space. The food is just as good, the staff is friendly, and their service is quick. Parking can be tough and seating may be tight which is why they don't get 5 stars, but all around, I would definitely recommend checking them out if you're in the 3rd ward because they are definitely still my favorite Poke place in MKE.

Food is decent but it is very overpriced for a bowl. Service is also horrible here. You can place an online order 2 hours a head of time for 15 minutes prior to your actual pick up time and not have your food ready. If you decide to order in the store it takes 15-30 minutes to get your food. I would say the place is also severely understaffed with one cashier and one person making the food. This has been accurate for the three visits I've had at this location *only*.

Pretty disappointed tonight. Have been to the FreshFin on North several times and have never been disappointed. Was in the area tonight and decided to try out this location. Arrived at 6 tonight and they said they were out of salmon and white rice. Super odd for a restaurant to be out of the staples on the menu. Second choice was spicy tuna bowls with brown rice both were super watered down and saturated with the sauce. Won't be back to this location as aloha is down the street. *update super impressed by the costumer service. Almost immediately was contacted to help resolve the problem. Thanks for your sincere apologies!

I really have come to love FreshFin (both locations). I usually go to this location on Tuesdays after work because of the Tuna Tuesday deal. Basically, the tuna bowls are $8 instead of $10 for a small (totally worth it)! Parking can sometimes be tricky around this area of the third ward, but I have not had much trouble as long as I am going around 4:45/5 pm. There is a small window in which you can eat your bowl at, or you can take it to go. If you want to take it to go (or cannot find parking) the service/kitchen staff is very quick. I would say my order is typically done within 4 minutes of me placing my order. The only reason I am giving this place 4 stars instead of 5 is because some of the staff doesn't automatically tell you about/give you the tuna Tuesday deal. One employee said I needed to ask for it or else she wouldn't give it to me. That is fine and now I know for the future, but she did not know enough about the computer/Point of Sale system to cancel the order and charge me the adjusted amount. $2 is no big deal and I love the bowls anyways, but it would be nice to have consistency amongst the employees.

This place is great. It's fresh and very compacted. Had to leave today without my spicy tuna poke. :( now what? They do not take CASH! Bring your c/c!

It's about time I update my review. Since leaving my last one, I have gone back to FreshFin so many times. So much so, I was visiting at least once a week for a weeknight dinner. The service has been spectacular since my first visit, and the food always delicious. The owners even reached out to me after my first experience to ensure it wouldn't happen again. Great restaurant and growing company!

Amazing! All four of us loved our different bowls. I had the curry coconut shrimp with mixed greens base. So fresh. Wonderful flavor.

Diggin this for a lunch option - I got the gluten free vegan bowl both times I have been there. One time with Brown rice and greens , second time with kohlrabi noodles. YUM. Truffled crab dip was o-k. Service is always great up at the ordering station, too. They also have a rewards system and food comes out quick!

My mouth is exploding with flavor and heat! Love love love the Spicy Tuna bowl. Unbelievably fresh with light dressing - much lighter than the usual oil in tuna poke. My sushi go-to is always a spicy tuna roll - but it's never spicy enough and usually light on seasoning. This bowl is perfection - light intense flavor, heat from paper thin slices of jalapeño, edamame and tobiko. I got it on a bed of greens. My new favorite food! Just wish parking wasn't such a problem.

Great takeout option during Covid! The poke is prepared and ready to go so as to avoid crowding and encourage social distancing. The app makes it easy to order and they are great about allergies and customizations

The location is a bit odd, being in the lobby of other places, but you can't argue with the delicious food. I'm sure they wouldn't have been as fast if there would have been more people when we arrived, but we got lucky and were the only ones in line so our food came out pretty quick. It was the perfect bowl of poke, just what we were looking for. Fresh, delicious and quick.

The best quality poke in Milwaukee. The staff is quick and courteous. The servings are bountiful and everything is fresh. I had the coconut curry shrimp with brown rice, it was addictive. The tuna is also fabulous. It is, however, pricey. You get what you pay for.

I got a lead on this place and gave it a try on a whim. Service was very quick and very friendly . The sharimi side was delicious . I got the chicken poke bowl and my wife ordered the spicy tuna poke'. Both were super fresh tasting and extremely filling. It's nice they are open 7 days a week for lunch and dinner.

The only reason I can't give 5 stars here is because I compare all Poké to a place I had on the west coast that was the freshest and also largest serving of poke I've ever had. I'll never have anything as good. For Milwaukee, this is 5 star Poke, but relatively I'm going to say 4 stars. I made my own bowl which I usually do and tbh I forget everything I added but I usually get almost everything. It was really very good. I got the large size which was just enough to make me pretty full. I think the small would be too small for me especially if this is my full meal. The service was friendly and prompt. I'm not from Milwaukee but when I'm back this will stay on my list of places to go back to.

Yesterday was my first experience with poke. I'm a real chicken when it comes to raw, so I was very excited to see cooked shrimp & chicken on the menu. (Though I tasted my friend's tuna and it was amazing!) Portions are huge, ingredients are ridiculously fresh and service is beyond kind. We arrived 10 min before closing, and no one made us hustle through our food. They quietly cleaned around us with no frustrated looks, annoyed sighs or any indication that we had to hurry. They even encouraged us to sit and relax. It was such a chill environment! Can't wait to return!

Awesome food, amazing service! However, I wish that the employees could stick to the right serving sizes. I got way too much rice in my regular sized bowl! The menu board stated that I would be getting 145 calories worth of brown rice when in reality I received 300+ calories worth.

This place has a brilliant vibe and brilliant food! Five stars and would definitely recommend for a quick snack in Milwaukee.

Enjoyed the food at FreshFin, pretty typical Poke with good flavor options. This location is a little odd. It's in a shared retail space and there is very limited seating, would not recommend for larger groups.

This place is so good and so perfect for lunch. I wish I could eat here everyday for lunch! I mean, I could... I got the coconut curry with chicken and it was fabulous. Go here!!

I got the spicy tuna bowl this time and I wasn't very pleased. To be honest it was really watery. the rice was warm, which is kinda off putting. The crisp on top was literally frenches fried onions, you know the kind for a free bean casserole. I've come to fresh fin before and im not as pleased as before. I feel like these complaints are reasonable as poke should be refreshing and flavorful rather than watered down and salty. I don't think I'll be coming back anytime soon as there are other, better poke options in Milwaukee.

While not the Pacific NW, this small place in Milwaukee's historic Third Ward had a great offering of fresh poke' bowls with friendly, helpful staff!

This is oh so good! Nate has come up with some spectacular creations! Yum! Such a fresh, clean, airy atmosphere with attention to detail from casual fast catering to the their delicious ingredients! LOVE the salmon, mango, edamame, avocado, cilantro, spicy ginger, sweet shoyu, crispy onion, and tobiko bowl! Yummmmmm

My friend and I stopped in here for lunch yesterday. The service was friendly and our bowls came out fast! We ordered the Mango Tango & Spicy Tuna. Both our bowls tasted great with fresh ingredients and tasty sauces! We will definitely be back for lunch with our coworkers. Thank you Freshfin for coming to the Third Ward!

Really enjoyed it! My young daughter was a bit nervous with ordering but the lovely girl who was working helped out tremendously when it came to ordering she recommended the Mango tango bowl for my first timer & she was " spot on!" both my daughters loved!!

Best Poke place in town and it's not really even close. I have (literally) eaten here every day for like 2 months and don't plan on stopping anytime soon . Always fresh and never tastes fishy in any way. Highly recommend the tuna.

Love it! Was visiting and wish there was one in SD. Better than the poke places at home hats for sure. Lots of items to choose from and fresh ingredients.

Great healthy lunch option in the third ward! Service is fast and ingredients are always fresh and delicious. Spicy Tuna is my go-to, but have enjoyed every poke bowl I have had at both locations. Bonus at this location is you can grab a Holey Moley donut for dessert while you wait for your order.
