Best place I’ve been in Marseille! From when u enter the building u catch these super good vibes! People are chilling around, doing sports or dancing and none seems to notice you’re visiting. They’re just there living their lives and enjoying. The bistrot isn’t that cheap and for an italian that thing they serve can’t be called pizza for sure 😂 but the atmosphere does it all. There’s a menu of the day with veg and vegetarian food, there’s wine, there’s good music. ATTENTION: The terrace isn’t always open!

Perfect place to relax and discover the wonderful art it has to offer. 3 exhibitions at the time of my visit, each one better than the last. The staff was very attentive and friendly. Definitely a place you can't miss if you visit Marseille.

One of my favourite places in Marseille. I arrived with my 7 month old and a pram at a time the lifts were unfortunately not working. The reception staff were lovely and leant me a carrier. Such thought provoking interesting exhibitions. Great food too & so many cultural events to explore. I will definitely return.

A creative cultural hub located in a former tobacco factory, hosting contemporary art performances, concerts, and exhibitions. The atmosphere is vibrant and youthful, attracting artists and the local community. The surrounding area can feel a bit quiet, so visiting during the day is more comfortable.

Sometimes one finds a hidden gem out of surprise in the middle of nowhere near to the expectations. This is one of the such places. I was invited there for an interesting exhibition on ‘Digital Art’ by the artist Mr. Ugo. Key points to remember for me. 1. This place is adjacent to Marseille Saint Charles station. An old, ghostly looking structure having several halls. It has restaurants and skateboarding arena as well. Surprising for me as I didn’t know this even though I am quite regular at the station. 2. This unused place is now being using in such an artistic manner while keeping its rustic look maintained. One could feel that vibe. 3. The design and artistic look created by several artists have made this place an experience in itself. 4. The food at the grande tables restaurant is amazing. Must try. Now the services. It has ample parking spaces. Reasonably priced. Reasonable ticket prices for different exhibits.

This place is amazing! A great model for cultural spaces/ districts. It has something for everyone with exhibition spaces, studios, offices, etc I love the way it welcomes the community with playstructures, basketball courts, skate park, climbing wall, Cafe, etc. Would love to see somerhing like this in every city

Really great bar and restaurant (Les Grands Tables, I think) in the middle of this arty urban district. Indoor and outdoor space, elevated above the surrounding streets. Perfect for sundowners or a daytime/evening meal. Clearly, the fun and eclectic locals agree with me: it was busy and buzzy even on a chillier evening in late October. Recommended.

Found this place by accident and it was a pleasant surprise! What an amazing hangout place with a bar, cafe, bookstore, free photography exhibition and illustration exhibition, and lots of seating area. We came on a Monday so there was also a farmer's market! Would definitely come back here again when I visit the city next time.

Yelp
The Friche is a very great artistic place in Marseille. It's almost like a little village and you'll find everything you need, wether you're hanging out with your 6 year-old kids or your whole gang of party friends. There is multiple bars, a dinner service, art exhibitions, a great skate park and, best part, a gigantic rooftop with an awesome view on Marseille. During the summer, they have live chill electro music on the rooftop for FREE. How amazing is that. And all bartenders are always super nice and chill, they make everyone feel at home!
