Friedhats FUKU Cafe

Cozy place with a great selection of coffee, served in different styles. But the attitude was... umm, a bit weird, if not arrogant. Just so you know, laptops are not allowed here. At the same time, mobile phones are. It seems a bit strange to me. I was planning to discuss a model with a friend of mine who suggested this place. Instead, after having a good cortado, we went to another coffee place located just on the other side of the same road. Rules of the house are the rules, but they are weird.

Super friendly staff, serving delicious coffee and croissants! I'm always blown away when a cafe has such an awesome selection of coffee on espresso/filter, and still each brew is perfect. Great retail selection as well! ✌🏼💥

Travelled from Melbourne after seeing this café ranked among the world’s top cafés. The barista provided excellent recommendations, and I tried a Kenyan turbo shot. It was exceptional clean, vibrant, and remarkably clear in flavour.

I’ve visited many great specialty coffee shops in the city, but this one is definitely the best. I had a double espresso and a washed Ethiopia Gora Kone — both were excellent. I loved their espresso roast; the acidity was perfectly balanced. The staff were super kind and friendly. Thank you for the warm hospitality and nice conversation!

No wonder it's a famous coffee roaster. Unlike trendy modern cafés, the vibe here is super relaxed and cozy. The flat white made with Geisha beans by the barista is one of the best I've ever had: perfectly balanced, with rich, velvety milk foam. I also love how they sell beans, encouraging reuse and recycling of containers.

My visit to Friedhats FUKU Cafe was a mix of highs and a single low. The coffee itself was outstanding. My iced latte had a lovely, subtle floral note that was perfectly balanced, not at all overpowering. My friend's iced filter coffee was equally impressive, with a delicate, vinous flavor profile that was truly unique and enjoyable. Both coffees were a testament to the quality of their beans and the skill of the baristas. ​The only drawback was the wait time. We had to wait over 20 minutes for our coffees, which felt quite long. While I understand that great coffee can't be rushed, it's something to be aware of if you're in a hurry. ​Overall, I highly recommend Friedhats FUKU Cafe for anyone who appreciates a meticulously crafted cup of coffee and has the time to spare. The flavors are worth the wait!

My favourite cafe/roaster in Amsterdam. Fantastic rotating beans always, and staff are extremely knowledgeable and always offer sound advice. Just perfect in every way. Great, chill offline vibes inside as well.

Extraordinary ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Literally one of the reasons we took a trip to Amsterdam, and we weren't disappointed. The coffee was incredible, and the staff were friendly and knowledgeable. My favourite coffee shop that I've visited in the world so far!!

Hands down, the best coffee in town! A wonderful little gem, backed up by one of the most successful coffee roasters in the Netherlands. The staff is super friendly too!
