Undoubtedly one of the most beautiful spots to visit in Belfast. The amount of history in the singular location is simply outstanding and unbelievable. Indeed well kept history, all form of Irish whiskeys you can list from time immemorial. Add it to your bucket list when in Belfast.

The place to be in N. Ireland or indeed the island of Ireland if you love a good collection of whiskey ! The museum located at the back of the shop is truly a masterpiece and a hidden jewel. The members of staff all love whiskey from the bottom of their heart and they will advise as well as educate you ! Simply wow !

Very impressive store and museum, definitely a Belfast "must visit" if you like whiskey. Store staff were knowledgeable, very friendly and I was particularly impressed at how patiently they were managing the questions of the non whiskey drinking tourists who wandered in to buy a souvenir. No sign of phoning it in or being sick of the same question for the thousandth time. Nice to see. I had an idea of what I was after and greatly benefited from their perspective on various options. Ended up buying two bottles rather than the one i had planned.

Amazing collection of whiskeys! Very friendly and knowledgeable staff, and reasonably priced products. Great for a browse even if you don't feel like buying anything, but you probably won't leave empty handed!

Absolute gem of a shop, was amazed at the selection of whisky. The chap that helped us was so helpful and was nice to get a few tasters to help with what to buy. Would recommend taking a look if you are in Belfast.

My husband & I had a very small wedding with only 7 guests & decided we wanted to do something a bit different/treat everyone in the afternoon so booked a whiskey tasting in the Friend at Hand. Which I am very happy to confirm was the best idea we’ve had!!! Everyone loved the tasting & dare I say it was the highlight of the day (besides our ceremony of course 😂). The wow factor of the place is something else, I would recommend as a must visit to anyone & will definitely be back with family members visiting from across the water. We really cannot thank the staff, especially Marty who lead the tasting enough. They could not have been more welcoming & friendly. The passion & knowledge of all things whiskey really shows. Thanks again!
