1st time visit this place and coffee is delicious and faster price is cheap 😋 and also delicious

We had the sandwich croissant with Swiss cheese, ham and egg and the bbq chicken wrap with two taro bubble tea. Everything was great but the taro bubble tea was too pure. It needed to be diluted or added more milk because it was too much. Otherwise, recommended for a quick breakfast. They also have brownies and pastries.

Great coffee. Great service. Nice atmosphere to relax and enjoy the company of family and friends over some delicious coffee. Also, if you visit at night time, you will get to meet the local rooster that sleeps by the ordering window. Remember to tip your baristas.

You asked me! I go there everyday! There are very good and attentive baristas. The coffee is great, hot or cold. They have a variety of teas. Food is some sandwiches, confiteries, and bagged chips. Come, visit. See for yourself! Coffee, coffee, coffee!

The staff were friendly and accommodating to my hearing ailments. They were able to describe the offered options and make recommendations based on my preferences. Very delicious options of frappes, coffee, laytes and machiattos. Can't wait til my next run to this beautiful town.

Friends, Friends, Friends... One of my favorite places when I was studying in the University of Mayagüez (Colegio). The location is spectacular. Is located in the city of Mayagüez in La plaza Colon. It is a perfect place to chill, enjoy the vibes and drink a spectacular coffee or a relaxing tea.

While visiting the island and driving from Joyuda to Aguadilla we stopped by this location. It seems the name was updated along with the menu shown on Yelp. Staff was friendly, there was a young woman taking our orders and bringing us our food. There was only one other person eating while we were there, as it was on a Thursday morning. The tables are outside where they also have some fans to keep you cool. There was a friendly cat lounging around by the tables. When driving here, I suggest you slow down so you don't miss the parking entrance. Be on the lookout for a large wooden chair painted with the Puerto Rican flag right by the entrance. The food was very tasty, just be ready to have very sticky fingers if you order the waffle sandwich and add the syrup.

Wow. Wow. Wow. What an incredible spot this place is. I came here because of the perfect 5-star reputation and the wonderful reviews from fellow Yelpers, and yet my experience still exceeded all of already high expectations! They are located right off of route 102 (the main street in Mayaguez) and right across the street from the beach. Also, their parking lot is massive! If it wasn't for Covid, I'm sure this place would be bustling as the food, service, and the layout is absolutely perfect. I ordered the waffle sandwich. Yes, that's right... a waffle sandwich. It is essentially two sunny side up eggs, crispy bacon, lettuce and fresh cut avocado nestled in between two perfectly cooked waffles. I could literally have this every single morning. If that was the case, I'd certainly wake up each day with a gleaming smile and never have an urge to hit the snooze button again. My date ordered the pancakes, which included generous servings of fresh kiwi, bananas, strawberries and blueberries sprinkled on top. I tried a few bites and while I hate to be a broken record... Wow, wow, wow. They were some of the lightest, fluffiest and most delicious pancakes I've ever tried in my life. Each mouthful was like tasting a warm, sweet (but not too sweet) and airy cloud. Oh and also I can't forget to mention the cute birds. I'm not sure if they were blackbirds or baby crows (Hey I'm a foodie not an ornithologist!) but they were about 3 of them hanging out by us on the wooden railing. While I'm sure they were waiting for us to drop food, I like think that were simply hanging out and enjoying our company, just as I was enjoying there's. If you find yourself in Mayaguez and looking for a great outdoor breakfast or lunch spot, especially somewhere that takes health and safety as serious as they did, this is the spot for you!

Love the location, like the creativity such as the waffle sandwich, best chocolate beverages (Ghiraldelli), and the view. The only minus point was the agglomerated oatmeal. Overall experience, portions and price wise its a 4.6.

Great place to stop and get breakfast. The waffle sandwich was delicious as were the regular waffles, the banana forester, and the house burger. Got smoothies (strawberry and peach) and the coffee which were all very yummy. We all left full and happy with the food and the service. Seating is outside but there are plenty of tables. Really liked the parking lot too.

Beach bum infused with hipster. Good spot near the ocean, great food and kind staff. The service was good, our order was finished in a timely manner. Idk if there was supposed to be wifi but when I scanned, my phone didn't find any. I would recommend this place. WAFFLE SANDWICH: 9/10 Pros: Tasted real good. Sweet with the syrup. Presentation looked pro. Cons: Portion was ehh for the money CHURRASCO SANDWHI H: 9/10 Pros: Tasted great, they were not cheap with the meat. I'm glad the churrasco was medium, not well done. Cons: Portion was not worth $12 HOMEMADE FRENCH TOAST: 10/10 Pros: Tasted too good. Sweet but too sweet. Portion size was good. Cons: Nothing reallt just wanted more of it. COFFEE FREEZE: 10/10 Pros: Sweetness not overpowering, so good during the very hot days. Cons: How could you go wrong with frozen coffee? The 16oz looked more like a 12oz to me. CAFE CON LECHE: 8/10 Pros: Strong, tasted like Ill be wide awake for the next 12 hours. Cons: Not sweet, I like my cafe sweet.

What a fantastic find. I can only comment on breakfast. It was so good I forgot to take a picture after breakfast. Found this location via other channels however glad I did. This place rocks

Spending time visiting my godson in the west coast, my wife and I found this special place for brunch. The service concept is "millennial" - make a line, place your order, pay, seat and enjoy! Great food and wonderful Puertorican coffee! I'm coming back soon!!!!

Excellent place right in front of Litoral Park I had delicious French Toast with foster bananas at a great price, definitely recommend you try them, great place to eat at any time of the day, from breakfast to late night.

Best place to eat an awesome burger, you will love it, very clean, and friendly staff the fries are awesome as well. I will definitely be back great for lunch

Highly recommend this place! There service is great, the food was fresh and really delicious. Their fresh brew coffee was tasty and they prepared it exactly as I ordered.

Such a treat! This place is where you want to go and eat breakfast (delicious breakfast) from a nice scrambled eggs and toast to some really yummy french toast. And their coffee is great. Lastly the service was incredibly friendly.

Amazing little place off the road. Go for the parmesan hash brown omelette, the texture is to die for. Waffles were incredibly tasty too.

I finally decided to eat at Friends Cafe after hearing a lot of people talk about this place. I definitely will visit again. I've gone 3 times with my husband. The first time we had the Zeta Burger and the House Burger. Both were delicious but we liked the Zeta one more. The second time we went we had the Zeta Burger again and tried the Churrasco wrap which was amazing. And the third time we ate the Churrasco wrap again and tried the chicken chorizo burger. I definitely recommend this place. Try the Italian soda. We've had green apple, strawberry and melon.

Great place for breakfast and lunch. We returned twice for their amazing breakfast waffle sandwich and coffee. Came for lunch on a different day and burgers were great as well. Staff was very friendly and prices are very reasonable. Tables are outdoors and under a shade. Will return on our next trip.

Food is good not great, but their coffee is one of the best around the area. Definitely prices are way to high for a coffee shop and for the Puerto Rican economy, but then again their coffee will make you come back since their baristas show care in their craft which I can really appreciate.
