Today I decided to go have Nicaragua food in deep west Kendall… Small fritanga place . Cafeteria style ordering normally I would get Carne asada con gallo pinto. But would look the peeling was The chicken yellow rice with little bits of raisins in it and a breast chicken grilled . It was tasty but I did try a little piece of carne asada I didn’t like it, was a little off. The service was OK , a little dry, not too friendly. And it was a little costly for fritanga food so make sure when you go in you ask about prices there’s no prices to be seen . There’s no menu you just gotta know what you’re ordering and then they charge you - so definitely ask what the “la completa” Cost.

Nice small Fritanga. Food was good the only complaint isnthe carne asada flavor was off.....but the puerco asado was great.....

Prices are absolutely ridiculous and nowhere near justified. The food quality is horrible. The carne asada was dry, cold, and completely tasteless. The queso frito was fried in what tasted like old, burnt oil, and the portions were embarrassingly small for such an inflated “premium” price. This place is a total rip-off and honestly disgusting. I will never return and would not recommend it to anyone.

The owners have increased the prices so much that it makes it impossible to come here. Over the years, they have more than doubled their prices, yet the quality of food remains the same, no upgrades to the store or quality of where the food is maintained, and the staff is not the friendliest. A plate of gallopinto (rice with beans), protein, and side should not be $16 at this place. Plus $3 for a small piece of cheese. Total of $19 and that's without an appetizer, dessert, and/or drink.

Horrible, I arrived at the 11th place in the morning, I ask the lady who attends, please do not yet have food available, answer me with zero professional by talking on the phone, no food comes from 11 and a half to 12 as aooo, I did not understand anything, horrible. Nothing lost customers, I went to the next place and there I bought everything I needed, I do not understand if you open at 10 for what? Open for customers to come in and out like this, they were very good that disaster I do not recommend, wasted time to the place .

Carne asada is one of the most dry meats I’ve ever eaten.

Wow and more wow if you’re anyone who likes to try different types of food this place is amazing many things you probably never have had the place is casual It’s more of a takeout place but they do have a few tables to sit down The service was great the staff was friendly even for an Non Spanish speaking you might feel like you’re out of place but it’s worth the drive The food is Nicaraguan Spanish style food find this little gem and you will not be disappointed

I asked for a specific item and the server kept asking me options to the point that it became a different order entirely I was ordering for someone else, so I thought they were asking for additives
