"Frogmore Creek Overlooking the Coal River Valley, Barilla Bay, and the vineyards that produce the winery's award-winning rieslings, sauvignon blancs,and other cool-climate varietals, Frogmore Creek is also home to a restaurant you can write home about, open daily for lunch from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Here you can pair the star of the most recent wine harvest with colorful dishes such as beef tataki with horseradish gnocchi or cured yellowtail kingfish sweetened by seaweed and soy caramel, apple, and pomegranate. Edible flowers and bright sauce droplets create art on the plate. But the real masterpieces are the desserts. If “chess mate” and “lemon basil legos” are on the menu, order both. In late 2017, Frogmore Creek opened a second restaurant inside theMACq 01 building on the Hobart waterfront."

We found the entire dining experience exceptional. Every meal was exquisitely prepared and full of flavor, and the desserts were true works of art. The wine selection was of the highest standard. We would highly recommend this outstanding restaurant. All staff that attended to our table we exceptional, attentive and knowledgeable.

Very special menu. The dishes combined the Western and Asian style. The thin slices of salmon is amazing. As the waitress warmed us, the portion of the dishes are like entree, you will need order more than one dishes per person. Of course you will have your meal together with their tasting wine set.

Frogmore Creek is absolutely stunning—breathtaking views, a relaxed yet elegant ambiance, and some of the best food and wine we’ve had in Tasmania. The salmon ceviche was a standout—fresh, delicate, and beautifully balanced in flavor. We also enjoyed their wine tasting, which offered a wonderful variety and showcased the quality of their vineyards. Each pour was distinct and memorable. Paired with the setting, it made for such an incredible experience. Can’t wait to come back!

A delightful find in Tassie! Good food, desserts and coffee overlooking a great scenery! Beetroot salad was refreshing, lamb was done to the right level, the oysters and tuna tataki were fresh! Midnight noir and chocolate jaffa were delightful. Topped it off with good service all round. Highly recommended!

Lovely customer service, fresh and delicious food and an Awesome wine selection with great scenery and environment. Went with my friend on lunch yesterday (Sunday) and enjoyed the overall experience. That male gentleman (forgot the name sorry) who served us was very friendly and awesome with suggestions on food and wines, very knowledgeable! 😊 Keep it up guys, highly recommended visit! 🤗

Restaurant seemed to be bustling for a Sunday lunch session but our food was brought out quickly. All items of food were delicious. We aren’t red wine drinkers so didn’t partake in the paired wines but we enjoyed a glass of curvee followed by a dessert wine each. Wait staff were attentive and courteous. Lovely atmosphere next to the fireplace. Can’t really fault anything.
