Pleasant spot right at the edge of the jungle. Just from our table we saw, wild birds, lizards, and other creatures. The grub was great. My friend got the advertised crocadile dish, which he enjoyed. I got a regular burger, which was appetizing. The owner who served us was friendly and gave us some interesting info about ketchup.

Came here and got seated super quickly as it was not very busy. The atmosphere of this restaurant was very nice and relaxing. The man who served us was very friendly and brought us extra seasonings that he thought we may enjoy on our food. I got the crocodile and green apple curry, I thought it was good overall but perhaps I wasn’t feeling it this day and would probably not get a second time. My partner ordered the fish and chips, he loved it. I also had a taste of his chips and agreed they were good. Overall a good experience and good place to get lunch.

The masoor dhal was special and somehow specifically reminded me of Sri Lanka, whereas my partner's calamari salad was okay. Not enough dressing and calamari was a bit tough, and left him wanting "more" for what we paid for. Otherwise stunning place and friendly, helpful staff!

Well cooked unique cuisine where you get to enjoy and try out crocodile, emu and kangaroo meat. We tried the starter plate to try all the different types of meat and it was a good experience. Service was great and a beautiful rainforest open plan concept atmosphere.

Frogs is a great place to come and eat in a restaurant with an enjoyable atmosphere. The staff are friendly and the food is delicious. I was particularly impressed with the wildlife and the beautiful plants that surround the restaurant. Although there are many eating places in Kuranda, I would not hesitate to come here again.

We had lunch at Frogs before heading to a workshop at the library and loved both the curries we had; wild barramundi and tamarind, and mutton and mint. The absolute highlight was the water dragon who kept us company throughout lunch sitting very inoffensively next to our table. We have been to Frogs before and will return again. The food and the vibe never disappoints.

Got the slow cooked mutton curry & avocado and feta salad, both dishes were delicious! Service was great and we got our food very quickly.

Great opportunity to try crocodile. Had the trio entree of Kangaroo, Crocodile and Emu, the Crocodile Curry and the Dahl. Indian salad was a bit light but it may have been authentic.

Yelp
Had a chance to try Frogs, which is a little hard to find, but once you do it feels great! This is near a popular market which is great and there is also the Birds Paradise place close by which is great. Once we got here we were seated quickly and the service was fantastic. The person helping us was really nice and answered all our questions which i loved. We ended up ordering: *Barramundi fish curry - this was super yummy and went well with the rice and Raita it automatically came with. This was super flavorful and the hubs and I thoroughly enjoyed this * Naan - we got this to accompany the fish curry and the hubby loved this! Overall, would recommend to check this place out. This place also sells kangaroo meat if you are interested in trying that out!

Yelp
Frogs Kuranda Being in Cairns Australia and visiting the Koala Sanctuary and actually holding a Koala Bear, we were mighty hungry, look no further, as we exited the Koala Sanctuary, one of the first restaurants there was Frogs Kuranda, there was no one dining in the restaurant which generally is not a good sign to me. We sat down anyways Our appetizer was a Sampler of Kangaroo Crocodile and Emu. The Crocodile was the clear winner, Kangaroo was just a bit gamey, the Emu was like chicken Barramundi Curry was delicious and served with a bowl of rice. Complete meal and delicious curry and rice together, +always one of my favorites. Barramundi Fish was another wonderful prepared fish, a nice local fish. Was not familiar with the type of fish previously but is a good tasty fish. So.if you are hungry and coming out of the Koala Kura da Sanctuary, give Frogs Kuranda a try

Yelp
Good food and friendly service! Portions were large. Tried the emu, croc and roo sampler

Yelp
A spot to relax with a coffee or a lunch - did both while on hold in Kuranda. Had a group of ten and it was no problem to be seated - friendly greeting and service. Order taken promptly and food arrived without much wait - table service including waters was much appreciated in the Kuranda heat and humidity. Food was a broad range - and it was all good according to our group. Pizza excellent. Water dragon lazing in the corner was a bonus. Strudel was very good.

Yelp
A rocking little Resturant in the rain forest. Located in a tourist trap market area, the prices for food were very reasonable Water was provided upon seated and food was fresh, quickly prepared and very tasty. Staff was helpful and friendly Service was outside but shaded Recommended if your tour bus stopes here as the location has several choices

Yelp
Good food at Frogs. Had the crocodile curry and it was very tasty. It's white meat so weird as it sounds it's not that far off from chicken. The small portion is plenty by the way, I don't think anyone really needs a large as it comes with croc, curry, rice, and yoghurt in the small portion and plenty. Service was friendly and there's free WiFi.

Yelp
If you're in Kuranda it's A MUST. I just had the roo, croc, emu dish and the staff made the experience even better by having me guess which one was which. (I guessed right). Everyone is super friendly and pleasant to deal with. The mango macadamia cheesecake is to die for. I am so glad I came and tried this place. Be sure to stop by and grab a bite to eat.

Yelp
A delicious lunch with great service! The atmosphere was relaxing, semi-outdoor. Good sandwiches.

Yelp
The owner/manager of this place is a real sweetheart. She was warm and inviting and the main reason we tried this establishment. There are so many yummy options on the menu we had a hard time deciding but the food and drinks were all delicious. We tried a sampler with kangaroo, crocodile & emu meat and the peanut chili sauce they prepared for dipping was amazing! They should bottle and sell that stuff. My sons caramel milkshake was different but good. The prices were reasonable too. There is plenty of seating and they have a display case of goodies at the front as well if you just want some items a la carte. Check this place out if you're in the area.

Yelp
What a fun and eclectic place to eat! The homemade pizza was amazing! The service was warm and welcoming! A fun added highlight...all of the bearded dragons running around on the floor, waiting for a piece of food to eat! They won't hurt you at all! Too fun!!!

Skye N.

Yelp
Loved it here. Beautiful open spaces. Loved the lizards walking around the place. Food was delicious and very prompt. The young man serving the floor was very eager to please. The girl with short hair cut was atrocious taking orders, dumping our food on the table and walking away. As a manager of a cafe I would have fired this young lady I don't think I have ever experienced such rude service. They made some mistakes with the orders but before we could ask for the changes she stalked off so rude. Food 10/10 atmosphere 9/10 service (0 for the girl) 9/10 (for the young man on the floor and barista). Would definitely recommend!!!

Yelp
Beautiful place with lovely tropical forest view and kind, unassuming and down to earth crew. Food is also very good. GF options also available

Yelp
Great spot to get a cold (or hot drink) after playing with koalas or birds in Kuranda. I got a iced green tea that was quite tasty. Fast service. Great wearing. I would definitely recommend taking a break here on your Kuranda journey.

Leonard S.

Yelp
Went there after the Koala Gardens. The service was nice and even that they were almost closed they provided a delicious curry meal. Recommended!

Sylvia A.

Yelp
Great place to chill and eat. Had the fish n chips, avocado/roasted veggie salad, and bacon burger. Good options and great fast service. The french fries were so delicious.

Courtney J.

Yelp
Had lunch here after exploring the Kuranda markets. I literally have a food baby - I'm THAT full. The curry is amazing - almost like a rogan josh, with either chicken, croc or chickpeas! My husband had the burger - it was huge and did not disappoint. Licensed and a great place to grab a meal. Good atmosphere, overlooking the rain forest.

Yelp
I love this place! It's in an open air atrium, right outside of Bird World. I ended up going thrice on my trip to Cairns, and everything I ate there was amazing. The chicken curry is to die for!

Mary O.

Yelp
The Wendy's veggie burger was mediocre at best. 18$ I was expecting a giant burger. There was minimal veggies and it felt like a cheap burger for the price. On the other hand riding the motorcycles up was worth the ride. There is a churro cafe that made the wounds of the burger ok. I left pretty happy. I probably won't back I thought there would be more vegan options. On the plus side, the service was great and the resident lizards that hang out made it all worth while.

Rejean P.

Yelp
Nice variety on the menu, surely to please diverse eaters. Everything from pizza to crocodile curry and more. The price was great; much cheaper than i thought it would be for being in such a touristy area. Frogs is outdoors, but also covered to protect from those rainforest showers. A nice place to eat and chill in the middle of all the window shopping and wildlife exhibits.

Yelp
Frog's restaurant is located inside one of the Kuranda Markets, near the entrance to the Birdworld. The restaurant has a very good menu, with lots of chairs and tables. After perusing the menu, we settled for an iced chocolate. Within a few minutes, a delicious glass of iced chocolate arrived at our table. Generously filled with chocolate, milk, ice-cream and cream, it turned out to be delicious. Just what we wanted in the blistering hot weather in December!

Roland Z.

Yelp
Food was ok, we had grilled baramundi, caesar sald with prawns and tandoori chicken salad. Nice homemade dressings. Setting is ok inside one of the markets, al fresco with view of rainforest. Service is terrible though, extremely slow. Brought my fresh oysters together with main dishes.
