Beautiful winery! I had the pleasure of experiencing their Harvest Day and joining in on gathering and processing grapes while learning about wine making. Got to sample some of the most smooth and palatable wine I have ever had. Then ended with a glorious multi-course meal. The owners were gracious and knowledgeable and the staff were wonderful. Looking forward to making this a yearly trip!

The service was lovely. The scenery/setting/atmosphere was beautiful (despite the heat… would opt out of sitting under the red umbrella next time… if in the heat of summer, would opt to sit inside next time and just take photos). The wine was ok but, personally not my favorite… presented well.

The place is absolutely beautiful. The staff is great. They are definitely in need of management. We had a bottle of their Rose wine which was delicious. Ordered a charcuterie to munch on and after an hour of waiting we decided to cancel it. The owner needs a good manager that can hire and lead the staff. Other than that we loved the place.

What a mess. Good wine. Good food. Terrible service. Rude staff. This was our second attempt. The vintner, Craig, was very caring and attentive, but the staff was so stuffy and unhelpful. The older woman at the bar ignored my wife for 10 minutes, then said to us “I’m assuming you don’t have a reservation.” We did have a reservation. Once seated, the server took our wine order, then went to take orders from a larger table. He came back and asked what we wanted — we had already ordered a flight ten minutes ago. Food came for other tables who arrived long after us. Then the chef with a dirty apron delivered half our food. The food was good. Then a couple complained because they were bing held hostage to pay their check. The system was down and they waited an extra hour to pay and ultimately left, promising to return later when the system is up. We waited another 30 minutes after asking for the check before it arrived. Man, this is such a beautiful place with good wine and food. What they need is good management and more staff. And training to treat the customer better.

Great winery in a gorgeous location! We were accommodated with our two dogs on the covered patio and enjoyed charcuterie and a delightful couple glasses of wine! Sarah our server was so pleasant and made the stop great! Highly recommend for an enjoyable experience all around!!

Returning customers, I waited a couple of days to write this review. Our server DJ was attentive! Wine was good. However, the cheese plate was disappointing for $25.99! A few cold cuts and cheese spread. 😳 We told DJ that we were disappointed, mgr comp’d $6.50, but never talked with us. Go to Kaya!

This was one of the best experiences we have had at a winery. First, we started with lunch and enjoyed a delicious salad and panini. We shared a bottle of Viognier which was crisp and refreshing. We learned that Frogtown is one of the very few wineries in North GA that actually grows their own grapes. You can certainly tell given the quality of their wines. We ended our visit at the bar tasting wines and learning more about the winemaking process from the owners and winemaker, Craig and Sidney. Such a lovely couple that truly cares about their customers. We were so impressed that we joined the wine club and look forward to many future visits.

We visited six wineries this past weekend and this one was the least enjoyable. The overpriced wine reminded me of wine my friend used to make at home. The furnishings are in need of a refresh, general upkeep appears to be neglected, and the atmosphere is just kind of sad. (cue Gordan Ramsay) The courteous wait staff was the only redeeming quality. I wish them luck but I think they will need to up their game given the competition.

We planned our day trip to the North Georgia wine country specifically to visit Frogtown. Very disappointed that they were closed on our 11/30/24 visit. Nothing was posted on their website mentioning this fact. We arrived to a deserted winery and after walking around to see what was happening, we were met by a gentleman who worked there, but said that they close every year for Thanksgiving week to visit their family in California, which is where we travelled from. On top of this, a couple weeks earlier, we met their daughter (Jordan Fiorentini, winemaker at Epoch Wines in Paso Robles, CA) and told her that we were going to visit Frogtown during Thanksgiving week, and she also didn't say anything about them being closed. They really need to work on their communication...

This is a difficult review to write. 3.5 would be more accurate. First, the wines are exceptionally good. The Voignier was excellent. And another full bodied red, COAX, was terrific. But why on earth have us sample them when they aren't available for purchase? Oh, I know. Join their Citizens Wine Club and get them shipped. And that's the entire focus. They pushed the club to the point we were uncomfortable. Also, the educational push was much. Georgia grapes. California grapes. Swish. Don't swish. Aerate. Don't aerate. Don't refrigerate whites. Yada yada yada. Let folks enjoy their wine any dang way they want. Don't judge. There's no right or wrong. Food? Expensive, but excellent. A sandwich is large enough to split. But there's a $6 split fee because they double the side salad and chips to two plates. That's a mandatory up charge. The small cheese plate was ample. Wines & Food? 5 stars. The hype & push took away the joy of the experience. Unfortunate. These are superb wines. Enjoy them. Just avoid sitting at the bar and the lecture that comes with it.

I had a sample of different red wines. Audacity- a bit too robust for me, but rich in flavor. The wife enjoyed it. Enabler- great taste it didn't bite, pretty smooth and worth it to slow sip it. I enjoyed it. Clos Primavera co-equal- a bit flat for me, sorry not my favorite. Primavera proclivity- it left an aftertaste and was a bit bitter We had some mozzarella cheese awesome Chicken fried rice awesome Macaroon and biscotti awesome Overall an 8.5

My family and I recently visited Frogtown Winery in Dahlonega, and while the wine was good at best, the overall experience was incredibly disappointing--so much so that I would never recommend it and would tell others to visit a different winery in the area. The tasting started fine, led by the owner, Craig. He seemed knowledgeable but quickly revealed his unprofessional and self-absorbed nature. The entire time, he dominated the conversation, constantly talking about himself and his supposed accolades (he mentioned being named a "top 100 most influential winemaker" back in 2013 on a website I'd never heard of). He even told other customers not to ask questions while he was speaking, which felt rude and dismissive. Things took a turn for the worse when Craig tried to push a $150-per-quarter wine membership on us. When we politely declined, he told us it "wasn't right" after all the time he had spent with us. From that moment on, he ignored us entirely, even though we had just spent about $400. The disrespect was palpable, and it left a sour taste after what should have been an enjoyable visit. Craig's behavior was nothing short of narcissistic and unprofessional. It's clear he values pushing his membership more than treating his customers with respect. There are plenty of other wineries in Dahlonega where you can enjoy good wine and be treated kindly--skip Frogtown and take your business elsewhere.

Beautiful!!!!! Best day trip from Chattanooga. We've been to Napa and this reminds me of there. The wine was delicious as was the food! And the views were gorgeous! Service was also great!

The wines were good, views are gorgeous. However, we were made to feel very unwelcome. We bought two bottles of wine ($60 and $70), so not inexpensive. We sat down to enjoy the wine with some cheese and crackers we had brought with us. Every winery we have ever visited here, in CA, in France, in Greece... all over the world has never had a problem with us enjoying some snacks with the wine( even if they also sell food). This was a first. The waitress told us it was like bringing your own bread to Olive Garden. Not a great analogy. This is a winery that also serves food. We did not bring our own wine!!! We just spent over $100 on your wines!! And we would have bought more!!! Instead we packed up and left to another winery.

The front service was great but we ran into some of the back help and they were so rude. So I don't think we will ever go back he was hateful.

Love the wine and food. We have always been treated nicely. Good service, friendly people. We stopped in to meet friends for lunch and wine. We had two of their smoked chicken salads and thought that they were great. Between the four of us we had two bottles of wine. We picked a Cab/Frac while our friends picked a Cab called 13th Colony. I mention that because it was a 10 year old bottle for about $30 and I thought it was really nice. We picked one up to take home, I wish I had gotten more. My complaint: I just paid the bill and added a nice tip without thinking much since we were enjoying the conversation. My friend paid next but asked the waitress why the bill seemed to be rather high. She mentioned that they add 18% to split and augment their salaries. I don't remember exactly what I added for a tip. I think 30%. That works out to a 53% tip in my book. It's not the end of the world, but it cost me about $25 that would have paid for most of another bottle of that 10 year old Cab., and it seems rather sneaky of them to slide that 18% in with no warning that I could see... This sort of thing is just not acceptable to me. Charge me $25 for that $20 salad and I will tell you if I think it's worth $25... be honest and up front. My friend paid, saying "I have already eaten the food, what choice do I have?" I was just going to let this go and try another winery next trip. Then I read a story in the news about a class action law suit against a restaurant that adds a $2 "inflation" charge to every bill with our telling customers. You eat, you find out about the $2, and most people don't argue. So here I am writing out one star from their review... and it's one of the better wineries I have been to in the area. Good way to lose loyal repeat customers. Maybe next time we go they will make it up to us with a free bottle of that 13th Colony. If we go back... THE ABOVE WAS FROM 10/25/22... On 1/11/23 we opened that bottle of 13th Colony Cab... I kept it in my wine cellar since buying it... Upon opening it it noticed that the cork was deteriorating, dry, crumbly... I kept it on the side, perhaps it was stored upright? I poured an ounce through my aerator... The wine was brown. No a good sign. I'm not talking about an off red that you might expect from an older bottle... I'm talking brown. The bouquet was disturbing. It was totally undrinkable. I change my request from a free bottle of 13th Colony to two bottle of something drinkable. LOL

We recently hosted our son's wedding rehearsal dinner at Frogtown and it was everything I had hoped for! Cydney (one of the owners) helped us craft a wonderful menu and Craig selected a delicious array of wines which we loved. Dinner was delicious and beautifully plated. The arancini which were selected as an appetizer were a particular favorite of our guests. The view and landscaping made for some spectacular pictures, and the interior needed little embellishment to set the mood for an elegant and beautiful meal shared with family and friends. Thank you Craig and Cydney for a wonderful experience for our group!

Frogtown was one of my favorite places to have lunch or dinner. Usually, a pleasant experience and of course, the views do help. I brought my friend for her bd lunch. I usually order the duck salad, always great, with a glass of wine. When I asked about the salad I was told that the chef had left. The food orders were being prepared by the owners. Perhaps the owners should have paid the chef a livable wage since he was part of the reason for going to enjoy a meal. Since the menu was reduced to just 3 salads and sandwiches, I ordered a caprese panini and my friend, the beef with cheese panini. These were perhaps the worst paninis I've ever had. My caprese had 1 tomato slice split in two (for cutting the panini in half) and possibly the worst glob of cheese...cold & tasteless plus no basil. Certainly wasn't the typical mozzarella that usually goes into a caprese sandwich. My friend also had a glob of cold tasteless cheese (possibly the cheapest & lowest grade of cheese sold by restaurant supply houses) and beef. These paninis were $25 each...way overpriced!! We each had a glass of white, not the greatest, mediocre at best. This lousy meal cost me just under $100..for lunch. Hey Craig & Cydney, your wines may have won awards but you serve the worst whites by the glass. Secondly, stop cooking and find yourself a great chef and pay what he's worth! Food was terrible and wine not much better!!!

The majority of my stars are for attentive service from our server Julia and the spectacular views. We had lunch and a tasting for a group of 7. Food came out quickly but many plates were cold (paninis and pizzas) and the chips were soggy and rubbery on every plate. The pizza dough was amazing and so were the desserts we had. Now to the wines......the worst we tried all day. The tastings were individual and the group consensus was that no one liked their flights. So maybe skip the wine and just enjoy lunch in between other wineries in the area. The views are gorgeous and serene. Definitely worth a visit.

Our server made us feel like we were second class because we arrived without a reservation. They sat us in a table but told us there would be other guests arriving but we could sit there. Brought us a glass of wine and then took 45 minutes to return to our table after visiting every other table twice. There were only 4 other tables seated. We decided to leave without a scene and simply commented that in to 20+ times we've been to the restaurant that we've never felt so unwelcome. I tried to tip our server anyway and she said to me, I don't need it, I'm the owner. She said sorry and walked away. This is a favorite stop for my wife and I for years. I've never felt so unwelcome and probably won't return. I want to, but we can't. I have had so many great experiences at Frogtow. I have never written a negative Yelp review. And wouldn't have today if our server was just an employee. But honestly, she was the owner and the owner did not care. My wife and I lost one of our favorite places today. Disappointed

My wife and I had our rehearsal dinner here in April. We couldn't have been more happy with our choice. The owners, Craig and Cydney, were a joy to work with. They gave us so many options on dinners items including sides and desserts. The espresso cheesecake was a big hit! Cydney was there the whole time working very hard to make sure everything was just right. The staff were very friendly and attentive the entire night. 10/10 would recommend this venue for a rehearsal dinner to anybody having a wedding in the North Georgia mountains. The wine, the food, and the service was exceptional!

Very nice place and a hidden gem in Dahlonega. We went to this place for lunch and ended up doing a tasting. The place is still rebounding from covid, so you could tell there are some kinks still being worked out. Our server was great. We asked if they had carbonated drinks and she able to locate some that were leftover from an event the night before. She even cooled them down for us. The only thing minor issue I had was with the sandwich. They pretty much gave me a two pieces of bread with a whole avocado, pieces of lettuce that came from a salad kit, cheese, and one piece of bacon! The salad was surprisingly delicious! The dressing was a great compliment. I loved the homemade chips! I will say that my boyfriend's sandwich looked very delicious and had plenty of meat. All in all, of you're wine tasting in North Georgia, check them out.

The best out of 7 wineries in the area we tried. Definitely the best experience overall! We loved the service! They actually took the time to show you what they had to offer, and you didn't feel like a production line. Frogtown makes a custom tasting list for you! Super nice to try the ones you want! I hate wineries that pick which wines you are tasting for you. Frogtown will also give you fresh homemade chips to help distinguish. If you love dry/semi dry red wines you will love this place! The flavor was amazing! Glad I stopped here for my birthday! One of the best views on the deck as well.

Wine was great! Definitely a must-stop if you're in town for tastings. We had to check it out considering they won awards and even beat great California wineries on some occasion. Service can do some work. Our servers were great, but one of them was rude to a customer when they walked in asking about brunch. She snapped saying, not brunch, lunch; when she could've been more polite as they obv didn't know the schedule and said instead, we don't offer brunch today but would you like to have lunch instead. *Dahlonega is a little tricky as most places have weird hours and are closed between M-W so plan your trip meticulously.

Great views, good food, and below par service. Lots of potential but poor execution here. They are obviously understaffed and disorganized when it comes to properly serving their customers. Expect to wait 15 minutes for water and 20+ minutes to pay your bill when you're done. The food itself was good, although slightly overpriced. We had a Tascano pizza and the King George panini. The wine is good as well. We had the MSV wine which was very smooth, buttery, and not too sweet. In the end, the great view, good food, and tasty wine were overshadowed by laughably bad service. Me and my fiancé got to the point where we just expected more issues and laughed as they came. Here's a list of them! 1. Took about 10 minutes to be approached by a server 2. Waters took 15 minutes 3. We were told by the waitress (without even asking) that we could be moved to a better table....then we saw someone else get seated at said table 4. Our wine glasses were fresh out of the dishwasher and hot (we were drinking white wine...) 5. We waited 25 minutes to see our server again to pay the bill 6. The server came back after we already paid and said that the transaction didn't go through because of a bad internet connection and they had to run us through the system again. At least we have a good sense of humor because the experience was comically bad. Do not recommend to my worst enemy.

I had the Oglethorpe wine flight and Americano Panini. I enjoyed both. We had a reservation for our party of 7 and were on time and then seated immediately after checking in. Our food came shortly after being served our wine which came with a tasting description.

Next stop on our wine tour. Short drive from Wolf Mountain. Parking was a little rough as we had to park all the way at the bottom of the hill. Drop everyone off and let the fittest of your group park the car and do 'the hill'! lol We were sat outside which was nice. Great views of the winery and the weather just right. We opted to try the red and white flights. Solid wines. I thought all of the reds were big and flavorful. Whites were full bodied and buttery to dry and crisp. We did not have any food but it look good but seemed a little pricey. A solid stop but would rather have just went to the bar and done a tasting but that was not allowed yet.

I hope you're reading this review before you go. Just go somewhere else. Positives were the food, service and view. Negatives were the wine, the parking and a BS 18% charge on the bill. We asked about the 18% fee and we're told it is help cover their pay during the slow season. WTF? Just raise you prices and remove this ridiculous fee. All the Red wines are bitter and taste similar. They brag a lot about how good their wines are but they have the worst tasting wine out of all the wineries in the area. I can not stress this enough - the wine is horrible! The parking is on a steep slope. So it's like mountain climbing to taste bad wine. One other thing that felt awkward were the waitresses dressed in tank tops and shorts. The waitresses at Hooters cover up more. They were Frogtown shirts too. Usually wineries try to be a little more classy with the staff uniforms.

Full disclosure: I am a total and complete lover of everything Frogtown. I have been a Frogtown "Citizen" (wine club member) since my first trip to the North Georgia Wine Country in 2015-2016. The winery is absolutely beautiful. The ambiance is total class. The owners, Craig and Cydney Kritzer, are amazing, extremely nice and approachable as well as knowledgeable and willing to share their knowledge. We had an enjoyable lunch followed by a lengthy wine tasting and tutorial! If you are looking for the best wines and winery in North Georgia, and want to increase your knowledge and appreciation for wine, look no further. If you're just looking to get drunk on cheap wine, there are many others around....

great product and nice venue, i would only warn everyone that they should be cautious about providing personal information such as credit card data, it has come to my attention via a very honest person that visited this place that my application with all of my credit card and personal information was shared and even given out to this person.

We had a reservation scheduled to eat at 5:45pm. it was a link directly from their website. We showed up on time and were told the last call for the kitchen was 5:30 and the kitchen was closed. They refused to honor the reservation that was made and they didn't do anything to try and make it right. The most frustrating part is the fact they knew we had a confirmed reservation since noon that day, and they chose to not call us to let us know it would be in our benefit to come earlier. We definitely would have accommodated that. Most likely will not be going back here due to the poor customer service. There are plenty of other vineyards around which are better to their customers.

The entire experience was exceptional and Courtney, our hostess, was great! The view of the Blue Ridge Mountains and bison down the valley floor was spectacular while the wine and food service were outstanding! Definitely on our list for a return trip soon!

Didnt have the best of experience at Frogtown. Unfortunately they were completely under staffed and didn't even have time to clean their tables off. The glasses seemed dingy and unclean with water marks all over them as they had not been properly dried. Just the little things to think of when competing against other wineries in the area. The wines were average at best and although they had a wide selection of flavors, it seemed like they lacked intensity in the flavors and were dull. Also, we order a charcuterie and cheese board which was pretty pathetic. The host told us they had had a busy day, but they shouldn't have even served it to us with how low the quality was. The crackers were stale and the meats looked like they had also expired. Overall just not good. The value of products for what you had to pay was laughable. There are just too many better wineries in the area that would give you more wines in your tasting flight- that are better- and are not as expensive over.

Walked in. Rude hostess. Abruptly told to wait. No one was there. 2 cars in parking lot at dinner time. No need to spend money here when there are lots of options.

Good luck getting anyone to acknowledge you. Went on a Saturday, plenty of open seating. Went to the bar- no one so much as said hello or acknowledged our existence. There was someone at the tasting table so we asked how it worked. We just each wanted a glass of wine, not a tasting. We were told they didn't have the option to get a glass of wine from the bar and that we would have to be seated. I said, "okay where do we wait to be seated?" "Oh you just stand here and waitress will get you eventually." We were walked by for another 15 minutes with no sort of acknowledgment or even a smile. We were clearly in their way, so we left. Go to Cavendar creek vineyard! They will sweep you off your feet with hospitality. The wine is better, cheaper and so is the ambiance!

I've visited Frogtown twice in the last month. I like this place. The koi pond outside is cool, and the winery has a lodge feel on the inside. Cozy and comfortable. I really enjoyed the Oglethorpe Red, priced at $10 per glass ($24 bottle). Lots of great flavor - didn't know Georgia wine could taste so good! Applause is good too. Service was ok, but one of our food orders didn't go through which was a bit disappointing. I'd like to go back again.

Spent a wonderful afternoon today at Frogtown Cellars! The wine as always fantastic! We tried a new panini, which was excellent! As always, a tremendous time!

Beautiful views and experience. Our server was so very accommodating that it turned our visit into 5 stars. The kitchen was closed on our Monday visit, so she made us a cheese and olive plate. Ambiance was impeccable with French music playing in the background. Wine flight included all varieties, but would recommend the white wine over reds. Great experience and will come back.

Wow! Was there over the weekend. Had a wine tasting by owner, Craig. He was so narccistic he would not stop lecturing and telling us why HIS wines were so good and all other GA wineries were not. You could not interject or ask a question-you were there to listen to HIM at a wine tasting you are paying for! He was so incredibly rude and yelled at customers who paid for tastings AND bought 2 bottles of his wine because they didn't join wine club!! He should not be dealing with public. He has no idea how to treat paying customers. The poor wife of that couple left crying. It was despicable.

This is a beautiful venue with friendly, knowledgeable staff and outstanding wines. Whether estate-grown or from their Paso Robles vineyards, the wines are among the very best you'll find in North Georgia. Excellent sandwiches and pizzas too! Enjoy the views from the patio.

My husband and I ordered the white flight"A" and the red wine flight "A". Both flights were excellent, we especially enjoyed the red. We went on a Tuesday in January so the inside area was pretty empty. The wine hostess was very friendly and was great at sharing info on the wines and winery.

Excellent wine, yummy food and exceptional service! Will definitely be back! Frogtown is an impressive property and venue!

Website hours are not updated. We drove all the way only for them to tell us "they have changed their hours". How about updating your website.. gas is expensive these days for wasted trips!

COVID Restrictions in Place Nice view, good wine, loved the food option. Was a bit pricey but a nice stop. There is another winery just up the road but it was not open on the day we visited. #VickieTravelz

My husband and I Had a really nice lunch today with good our good friends. First off Frogtown is beautiful. The food was delicious and our server Alexis was wonderful. Just wanted to add for those who may be put off by previous reviews. Just go. We had a great experience. Also they are no longer adding the 18 percent service charge as of yesterday.

This was my birthday lunch and celebration with my daughters. Our first time to visit this winery. I was only impressed with looks. The view was great. The waitress was sweet- only on the job for two days. She worked very hard, Food was decent. Lots of Negatives: porch was dirty, broken glass, food on the ground all over. Did not receive a tasting - due to not having enough staff. Wine Manager showed terrible customer service. We stood around for 15 minutes before even getting spoken too. Yes, she was busy, but never said I will be with you in a few minutes. 2 couples came in and same thing happened soon turned around and left. Needed more help. Being busy is understandable, but treat people with respect. We were the customers and we felt like we were not wanted. It was my birthday and this was a terrible experience.

After debating if I should post anything or not, I have decided that silence is acceptance and speaking out is the best thing right now. I was extremely disappointed with Frogtown and the treatment my friends and I experienced there today. I had visited back in 2013 and thought it was a nice place, great view, and thought it would be perfect for celebrating my friend and her birthday. When I say the prejudice we experienced at this place was beyond obvious, it's an understatement. The server seemed to have trouble remembering requests from our table, but some how managed to remember and act quickly for the same request for other tables. We asked at least 3 times for extra plates, salt and pepper, and kept getting apologies for "getting busy" and being "understaffed". The table beside us had extra plates and we're waiting on their food for a while. Another two tables received salt and pepper upon request, we did not. I also noticed when the server looked at our table, she did not acknowledge when someone else at the table tried to get her attention, but when I (being the only white guy at the table), motioned for her to come over, she came right away. We mentioned the food wasn't good and was met with a heavy sigh and eye roll. Customer service goes a long way. I understand being tired and having a rough day, however that does not excuse being rude towards one set of customers and treating another table (all white) like they are VIP. When I asked if gratuity was included, I was told an 18% service charge was added but that was put into a pot and shared. I could tip separately if I would like, which I did despite the poor service. Average cost for food was $18-$25 (not worth it in my opinion for a panini sandwich and some chips with a side of spring mix lettuce.) I also felt like three samples for a flight tasting at $20-$25 was a bit pricy as well. You can buy a bottle and get more than 6 oz of wine for the same price. Finally, rather than fixing the lock on their restroom, they put up a sign saying please knock if the door is closed as the lock is broken. I cannot say how embarrassed I was today after recommending this place to my friends. I will not be going back and will not be recommending it to anyone in the future.

We arrived on a perfectly beautiful fall day to a stunning winery venue. After being greeted, but not impressed, we inquired about having lunch. While we were able to be seated, it was mass confusion & took sometime because we did not have a reservation. Once we were seated our server who was new, could not answer some basic questions about the winery, wine tasting, or the wines themselves. Eventually we got a food menu but then it took forever for anyone to take our order.We actually had to ask another waitress for help. We never saw our original waiter again. Curiously, EVERYTHING on the menu was $22 and a $6 up charge if you split your order. Piazza $22 Sandwiches $22 Salads $22....we noticed other orders being served and the portion was too much for one of us to eat so we split a piazza which came with a small salad for each of us. Thus the $6 up charge? It seemed like forever until we got our order and the piazza, a Margharita, was not good. It was lukewarm warm, the crust was hard, the tomatoes were hard and they had a green tinge as though they were not ripe. The salad was okay but better than the piazza. We did have a 3 glass wine tasting at the table for an extra $20. Each glass had about 2 sips in it and not too impressed by the taste. We eventually had enough and decided it was time to go. We had to send out a posse to pay our bill because there was only one person doing that for the entire restaurant. All in all WE had a great time being together, but not at the Frogtown Winery! If your expectations are LOW this is the place for you. It's a tourist trap with expensive terrible food and service.

This is definitely a "must see" place! Beautiful location/scenery and gorgeous restaurant and tasting area, lots of beautiful wood beams like a grand lodge. Also, our server, Maggie, was fantastic! Maggie was very attentive, and full of joy! The manager, Sarah, who was also beaming with smiles and joy, took time to explain the wines to us and tell us details of the location and history, she was a pleasure to talk to. Great place and we will definitely be coming back!

At first, I didn't know why this place was rated badly. However, going there, I know now why they're rated badly, and they deserved it. I cannot speak to their wine because we we never received service. The place was a waste of time, literally; we wasted 20 minutes sitting there at the patio seating on a hot summer day and were never served. Thank goodness we didn't waste any money on them. We saw a guest went to grab plates and water herself. Another patron got seated after us and merely received a glass of water (we never received any). The four of us waited for someone to come take our orders. Nobody came. The aforementioned patron; well, she also looked around to see if anyone was eventually going to serve her too. The wait staff didn't return to her before we left and she was there at least ten minutes. Frogtown's horrible service is not unheard of on Yelp. I should've checked the reviews before we wasted our time there. Please do yourself a favor and don't waste your time and money on this place. Many reviewers said their wine tastes sour. Possible explanation.... Because the wine has gone bad from slow and inattentive service.

We had a wonderful rainy afternoon at Frogtown! We came in and we're seated by the sweetest server and Brandy their precious dog. Our 13 year old son walked with the dog outside while we tasted some great red wines. He was welcomed which doesn't always happen - and we were appreciative of that! Our server helped us choose a wine and we ordered a charcuterie plate which was so yummy! We sat and enjoyed our wine in their beautiful dining room and played card games with our son - it was a lovely afternoon - thank you Frogtown - we will be back!

I visited this vineyard today with eight friends. We are in the area for a wedding this weekend and we're looking forward to a pleasant lunch. What a disappointment! I'll start with the positives..... the food was good, and the portions were plentiful. Someone in the kitchen is doing something right! The ambience is pleasant, building is nice and what a beautiful view! But here's where they lost us. First of all the servers were rude and in attentive. Our food arrived in staggered time frames, with no silverware provided until we asked, which required another several minute wait. There's nothing on the menu under $18 and they charge an automatic 18% gratuity (which is why the servers apparently don't need to care), and I whopping $6 to share a plate. When I asked one of the owners for a chilled bucket for our Sauvignon Blanc she said to me "Really? Really?? Really???, because really good wine should be served at room temperature". Perhaps she knows something more than I do about wine but but answering in that tone and manner was SO unprofessional and belittling a customer is never a good idea. The most surprising, though, was that her husband, and co-owner approached the table and asked us how our time had been. We smiled politely and didn't say much but as we were leaving I approached him privately and told him of my concern that there was no handicap parking (I have difficulty walking and have a handicap parking sticker). He made excuses for why they don't have them, why they are not held liable by the ADA to have them, and how it would be impossible to enforce, even if they did. Again, privately, another member of our party spoke frankly about the service we received and was treated with the same reaction......defensiveness, excuses, and an apparent inability and unwillingness to change anything. I've heard really good things but other vinyards in the area. That's where I will go next time.

Celebrated our wedding anniversary here. It is a beautiful property, the food was delicious and the hospitality was outstanding..

I really wanted to love this winery. The place itself was beautiful both inside and out. Great covered patio seating. Worth it to stop just for the venue. However the food was overpriced, especially the charcuterie board. The wines were decent. Huge pour with the tastings, although I would have preferred smaller pours with more tastings instead of the 3 for $26. Just a tad overpriced for me.

I visited while in the region a couple months ago. The whole time I am at this winery they give me the impression they are about to close and kick me out for private event. Doesn't make me feel real valued. Either you are open and serve me like I am a valued customer or just close for the day. It rained while I was there but when it would occasionally clear up there are beautiful views from the patio. I ordered a cheese board and a flight. Service was slow and spotty. The wines are decent but pricey. I bought a bottle or two before I left. I opened one two days ago and it still tasted pretty good. So I guess I say 4 stars for the wine. 2 stars for bad service and high prices.

We ordered three different wines, all very good. The charcuterie board was tasty, pizza was very good and the panini although flavorful the bread was tough to chew. The service was attentive until they turned the lights off while we were finishing dinner. Yes they really did that while the owner was talking to us. Very disappointing end to what was a mostly pleasant experience.
