The food is pretty good here. We came for breakfast and both enjoyed our meals. My husband had the FP Benny and I had the French toast combo with eggs, bacon, and potatoes. The food came relatively quickly and was prepared well. The service from Maria was good. She was attentive and made sure we had what we needed. That said, the hostess was not overtly rude but wasn't friendly either. When we approached the hostess stand, we weren't acknowledged until the server acknowledged us. The hostess took us to our table but there seems to be a level of unconscious bias as her greetings were vastly different for darker skinned guests. We watched as she greeted others, even fair skinned individuals that were passing by, warmly and with smiles. I want to believe that this is unintentional but bringing up for awareness so that we may all be more cognizant of our actions.

Google
Great Vibe at Fronch Porch Cafe I recently visited Front Porch Cafe on a Saturday and had a pretty good experience, earning it a solid 4-star rating. Located right in the heart of Ocean Drive, the ambiance is fantastic. It's a lively spot with a cool vibe, perfect for soaking in the South Beach atmosphere. We went during happy hour and enjoyed it. I ordered a margarita for him, and a Corona beer for me, along with some great appetizers. The food was good, and the prices were fair, which is always a plus in this area. Inside, there's a bar, and they even have a live DJ at night, which adds to the fun energy of the place. The only area where they fell short was the service. The staff wasn't very proactive in checking on us, offering refills without being asked, or making menu suggestions. With a little more attentiveness, this place could easily be a 5-star spot! Overall, if you're looking for a great location, good food, fair prices, and a lively atmosphere on Ocean Drive, Front Porch Cafe is definitely worth a visit!

Google
This is complete dog food. They legit served deli meat for the ham after bringing me bacon initially. There was salad on my breakfast plate? All weird. Also no jam bot butter was served with the toast. Pancakes tasted like box food, not fluffy. I honestly have nothing good to say...... And it was 80 dollars for my wife and I.

Google
This is a super cute place. Totally recommend for breakfast. The food was delicious but fair warning it is a big portion so come super hungry. The pancake and French toast were as big as my head! But very good. Definitely recommend eating here. The service was excellent. Very clean restaurant.

Google
Love the ceviche, so fresh and delicious! Best one I’ve had in a while and I’ve been around! Drinks were great and the photographer Nancy was great as well! As you can tell we ate it up already

Google
The hostess sat me down with only drink menu. Pancakes with simple syrup. No Maple Syrup here.. Eggs Benedict with english muffin was not toast. Coffee was really good. I would not come back except for the location.

Google
An amazing experience thanks to Ilan! From the moment we arrived, his service was outstanding — friendly, attentive, and full of great energy that made all the difference. He made us feel very welcome and recommended delicious dishes that we absolutely loved. The food was fantastic, but Ilan’s service was definitely the highlight of our visit. We would come back without a doubt just because of the excellent attention he gave us!

Google
Google maps has the Front Porch Cafe located down the street from its actual location. We enjoyed the patio atmosphere with a light ocean breeze. This building is tucked b hind a high rise so you don’t get the blinding sun while eating outside. We were very excited to come here for breakfast as it seems they have the most diversified breakfast menu in the area. The portions are very large. However, we were very surprised they did not serve a variety of tea for breakfast - only black tea.

Yelp
After reviewing a lot of local places for breakfast, I chose The Front Porch for the selection and ambience. Having seen the 1/2 order French Toast combo, I went with that. The French Toast is the lightest, fluffiest I have ever had without being overly toasted! Chef's Kiss! If you don't get the combo, at least try the French toast.

Yelp
Expensive, no specialty lattes, and food was not particularly good. I was looking for specialty lattes and a nice skirt steak with chimichurri but they were not serving lunch items at 11am yet, so I didn't get to try it. And they had a limited tea selection, no black tea or green tea? I just opted for water. It wasn't horrible but we were on vacation and wanted to enjooooyy our time on south beach with a nice meal. I found this place using InKind and I regret using my cash back credits here. Service was decent and staff were nice but the food was soo mediocre. If you want to enjoy a meal this is not the place. But if you want to just eat to get full then sure this is a fine place for that.

Yelp
I like supporting Miami institutions and I do think that these guys are a breakfast institution here on Ocean Drive. They've always been incredibly dependable, but I do feel that service, quality and value have gone downhill. Their corned beef hash breakfast had a minuscule amount of corned beef hash - which is supposed to be the main dish and took a long time to come to the table. Eggs were very overdone. It took 15 minutes to see a waiter and then had to ask three times for the check. I think I'll stick to the Chia pudding (typically very tasty and fast to prepare) early on empty weekdays, which seems like a good bet.

Yelp
This has been our go-to every year we're in Miami for our girls trip/Carnival. This particular visit was very underwhelming. Seemed like the kitchen staff wasn't hitting the mark because 3 of 4 plates had to be sent back. We were greeted at the entrance, able to pick our own table and our server was on point. We ordered a shrimp salad, smoked salmon omelettes and the corned beef hash plate. The omelettes were veggie with no salmon. The shrimp salad had none of the toppings and stale tortilla chips. It was just so unfortunate and the language barrier was a challenge to understand the issue in the kitchen. We were comped with mimosas for the table. The patio is the only place we sit at and get a view of passerby on Ocean Dr. There's plenty of seating and great breezes come through the patio! Maybe we just got there on a bad day but usually they're a great place to eat brunch and lunch!

Yelp
We went for a late breakfast and were seated promptly. The ambiance was great, since we sat outside. We ordered our drinks- I had the watermelon martini and it was delicious. For my entree, I had the club sandwich and it was tasty. The rest of the entrees looked good too. I'd definitely recommend this place.

Yelp
As the first time experience, we were very disappointed. We had to wait for 30mins+ for the food. The fruit platter was in room temp, not cold enough. The poached eggs in benny was overcooked, not as runny as supposed. The crab cake was overcooked/ burned. The cheese was not melted in the ham & cheese croissant. The espresso quality was below average.
google avatar

Bridget S.

Yelp
Although our server was kind, the food was terrible. It was flavorless, the food came out cold and the quality of the ingredients was horrible. The fruit was slimy and so were the vegetables. The hollandaise sauce tasted off - like there were chemicals in it. Overall, so disappointed and would not recommend.

Yelp
I really wanted to love this place. We stopped here before heading home from a conference. It was a weekday around 11am. They offered us inside or outside seating. We chose outside - the furniture is great! What you would have on your back patio, comfortable seating with thick cushions. We had waters and tea. For brunch, I ordered the fruit french toast which is challah bread. It was good. The vanilla cream was a little too sweet so I didn't use a lot of it. The fruit was delicious and the challah was cooked well. My husband ordered the crab cake benny with breakfast potatoes. As you can see in a photo provided, there is not much "crab cake" for the $28 entree. It was mainly filler with some bits of crab and what was provided was thin (as you will see). The potatoes had an old oil taste + rosemary - they were just ok. The eggs were perfectly poached. Presentation was spot on. Unfortunately, overall I would not visit again. The food was hit or miss but the service was subpar. We had to ask for a drink refill. (For context, there were 3 tables and each of us had our own server.) Our waitress disappeared for long periods. And then to add insult to injury, when the waitress stood at our table for us to review the bill and pay - they added a 20% service charge automatically but this was not noted/mentioned as she read our bill to us. It feels like the places that add auto-gratuity tend to forget to still work for their customers. That is sad because it ends up costing the business the customers.

Yelp
2.5/5 Based on the reviews, my husband and I stopped by for breakfast. Maybe I am missing something but Sunday brunch was, in fact, not as delicious as described. Service was truly the best thing about the front porch cafe. Our server was very patient. We appreciate him and recognize this review is not a reflection of him. Plenty of seating options inside and out but outside it's already in the 80s and the outside fans aren't running. Two tables asked to be moved inside it was so hot. We picked inside and had options but one table literally had a huge bag of trash inches from the table and another option was tucked around the corner I, for sure, thought we would be forgotten. I picked a table where at least one of us was visible from the main pathway. We were brought water and coffee pretty quickly but as I drank a gulp of my water, I saw two fruit flys in my water and flys in my husband's water. Our server brought us new waters but I was already a bit grossed out. I had a small error with my order (wrong breakfast meat) but it was quickly corrected. The issue is my sausage was cold. The bacon that accidentally came looked borderline cooked. I am pregnant and am not interested in risking listeria over a small thing. My granola pancake was good but was small. It's the size of a pancake from McDonald's. My pancake was supposed to come with vanilla cream, blueberries, blackberries, and strawberries but alas. No fruit. My husband's corned beef was just okay. He loves breakfast potatoes and had one bite full and said they were not good. We watched who is either the owner or manager stand around on his phone and move pillows outside. As slow as they were, you think he would check in with his guests to make sure the quality is up to par. Or you would think he would be monitoring his kitchen to make sure everything is plated and sent to the right table. I watched another neighboring table sort out their food mistake. I would not come back. I hope our server succeeds and finds a business in SoBe that offers higher quality.

Yelp
We went here because of their Yelp that's OK. You can go reputation, but we're extremely disappointed. The reception lady did not care. We did not get water for 15 mins. The ambiance looks way more degraded than pictures. They were extremely understaffed. No one came to take our order for over 35-40 mins. We had two little kids who were so hungry we had to go to Starbucks next door while waiting for someone to come to get them fillers. Then the food came, it was not terrible but not great as the reviews either. Also one of the servers dropped a bunch of food on my wife's favorite purse and instead of apologies for the management they added 20% forced service charge. The waiter (intentionally or unintentionally unclear) hid the fact that was added and showed us extra tip screen and we landed tipping twice out of guilt. This might have been a good institution in the past but extremely badly managed. Would not recommend at all!

Yelp
Friday at noon I decided to try them out for late breakfast. It was quiet, the weather was great and there were sets available on the porch. I was seated quickly at what was a dirty table. Coffee mug stains and opened creamer cups hadn't been cleaned off. Still wasn't cleaned after I pointed it out to server. My server was efficient though. He couldn't give me any recommendations nor would he provide an opinion of the dishes I asked about. Not sure if it was just a language barrier or more. He just kept saying 'I don't know'. Mimosa: nicely done, good balance of sweet and alcohol Cajun scramble: This was rather tasteless with VERY FEW pieces of the andouille sausage the menu promised. I had to add quite a bit of hot sauce and ketchup Potatoes: soggy and oily I ate 1/4 of this plate and gave up. I'm not sure I'd return here but the ambience was cool for an afternoon seating.

Yelp
Went here for some brunch on a Monday. The food was good but some could've used a bit more flavor/sauces. Regardless, it was a good brunch. The drinks were good - tasted as expected given their names. We had mojitos and mimosas. The service was a bit slower than we expected based on how little busy it was. We sat out on the porch and the ambiance was great. I would recommend going here for a brunch close to the beach!

Yelp
Very disappointed in the service, breakfasts, and general ambiance of this 30 year old establishment. I guess all good things must come to an end but why did it have to be our meal? I ordered a piña colada off their extensive drink list only to find they had no alcohol available at all. Okay, no problem. Ordered sodas and our breakfasts from pleasant waitress. Our drinks came promptly. 30 minutes passed and the only ones eating were the pigeons flying around the tables. No one else was getting their food at the 3 other tables waiting either. Finally I approached the hostess and she went to check for us. Another 5 minutes she returns and said the food was coming soon. When it arrived it was lukewarm. At best. It had obviously been sitting in the back quite awhile. Crab Cake Benny , poached eggs over crab cakes, were lukewarm and the crab cakes were soggy. The toast was cold. The huevo rancheros were also lukewarm. We ordered the ceasar salad but it came out with the main course and was the sorriest lettuce greens with a bare minimum of dressing. No one came to check on us and we could not eat much of the food. The manager apologized profusely and gave us a 20% discount. The waitress felt bad too but we still had to pay for a bad meal and inattentive service.

Sherri F.

Yelp
Service absolutely hands down is the complete worst. Sat down and was ignored by many including the hostess who said "give me a minute" and never looked my way again. After 16 minutes I was finally acknowledged and asked for the continental breakfast which was free if you stayed at The Penguin next door. After 22 more minutes I asked again for coffee and water. My meal was brought instead. Very cold. Then I asked AGAIN for coffee and water and coffee finally came. Had to ask again for water. I've noticed several guests from The Penguin being treated indignantly as well, but not nearly as horrible as me. A woman sat down after me and was waited on and they asked if she was staying next door and told them no so they took her order right away. No one makes eye contact. No one acknowledges you. They seriously need lessons in service. They get a negative 5 stars for that! The Penguin needs to partner with a restaurant who cares about service to others.

Yelp
Terrible service and food. We had a Greek yogurt parfait and a biscuit. I'm not even sure how someone could mess it up so bad. Avoid

Yelp
We were here years ago, before Yelp!! While staying we went for an early stroll on the beach to watch sunrise and ended up looking for somewhere to eat. This trip it was a pleasant surprise to see that they are only 1/2 block from our hotel. What a great venue, covered outdoor seating that always seems to have a nice breeze. Service was prompt and the food was great. I had a Hama and cheese omelette and my wife enjoyed a ham and cheese croissant. We weren't rushed, but in and out in no time, thus allowing us to continue our adventures here in Miami Beach. We will see you next trip

Yelp
My fiancé and I stopped here for breakfast after getting off our cruise and it was such a cute spot! You are literally eating on the front porch of this beautiful hotel. The outdoor patio was so nice. I got the tomato avocado toast and it was amazing!! I also asked for apple juice and they freshly squeezed it! My fiance got biscuits and gravy and really enjoyed it. The staff was friendly and they had someone walking around with a mimosa cart to make them fresh. It was a great spot!

Yelp
Wanted brunch and found this place. It's on bottom floor of an apartment building. Walk up and most the seating is outside, and a decent amount inside. Hostess greeted us and sat at an outside table. I ordered a half order of pancakes with strawberries. bacon, sausage & potatoes Pancakes was good....it was all good. If your in the area swing on by

Yelp
I'm kinda confused why this restaurant has so many good reviews. It wasn't great at all. To start, the decor is so confusing. There's a painting of Rocky, Messi, and then one with women shopping in rainbow colors. It looks like they raided the home good clearance section. My mom ordered the burger which was very meh. You have to pay extra for cheese so she just got it plain. The beef was fine but they asked how she wanted it cook. She said medium rare and the burger was way well done. Whatever. Their fries are clearly frozen. We double confirmed this when the women next to us asked for breakfast potatoes and they said they were out. They could only do fries. So no potatoes, but fries? Yup, frozen. I ordered the shrimp salad and it was like bleh. The cheese tasted like mozzarella cheese which doesn't make sense for a Mexican style salad. They went way overboard with the crumbled tortilla chips and they quickly got soggy. It could've used some more toppings. Onions? Jalapeños? Coijta cheese? Anything! For the price - definitely wouldn't come back as the food felt like an all inclusive report mediocre food - but we had to pay :(

Yelp
Love the Front Porch. It is my go to spot after a night of partying in Miami. Great vibes and the service is always good! I've been coming here for 11 years and I can't tell you what the inside looks like because we always sit outside lol. Great cafe con leche and typically awesome food. I normally get the Cajun scramble and the french toast. Today the hangover was calling for a greasy burger lol. Not sure what was up with the kitchen this day but, the food wasn't the best. I had the porch burger w/sweet potato fries and requested a medium cook. Instead I got a very well done dry burger. Sent it back again and this time the medium burger was medium well. I was so hungry I ate it at that temperature. It was tasty but, not at all how I like my beef. My sweet potato fries were good. My friend ordered a chicken wrap with avocado and for some strange reason they didn't get that right either on the first try. Although there were some hiccups, I will be back. This place has been and will always be special to me.

Fera D.

Yelp
Came here for brunch. Our server was nice. The food was not the greatest. We ordered tea, but they had no honey. Our order came two times and both times were wrong. By the third time we kept it because we were really hungry. We asked if anything was spicy and they said no, and the crabcakes we order were spicy. They kept coming in apologizing for the kitchen messing up our order. However, they didn't offer to make anything better. Giving it 2 stars because the server and thehost were nice. I would not recommend this place.

Yelp
Front Porch Cafe used to be my favorite breakfast spot in Miami. I literally had to go there every time I was in town BUT after this visit NEVER again. I was seated on the patio immediately but that is where the "service" ended. A server came by asking if I had been helped, I responded no, he looked as if he was going to take my order but then saw the person who was actually supposed to be my server and called him over. He took my order, I asked to substitute the pancakes for French toast (as I always do) and he told me I could not, he walked away and I didn't see him again until I asked another server to ask him to bring my check. A runner brought my food out to me. It took longer than usual....an extraordinarily long time for my order to come out and when it did it was awful. Although, unseasoned, the eggs were the best thing I ate. The turkey bacon was overcooked and cold. The potatoes were uncooked and cold. The pancakes looked like they were cooked by a 4 year old. Oddly the syrup tasted like plastic. And the toast was not worth trying at all. I suppose the Front Porch Cafe has run its course for me. On to the next!
google avatar

Jake B.

Yelp
I can't say I was particularly impressed with this place. The service was very chaotic, and took a remarkably long time. I tried ordering the smoked salmon benedict, but the server graciously informed me that the "smoked" salmon was just "raw" salmon, and not actually smoked at all, and that the menu was mislabeled. Bizarre. I ended up getting the traditional eggs benedict, and unfortunately the hollandaise on the eggs benedict was broken and bland. Unfortunately, on top of that it was quite expensive for the rough quality of the food. I can't with a good conscience recommend this place.
google avatar

Lea D.

Yelp
Stopped here on a recent work trip to Miami with some clients. I was starving so forgot to take pictures before I ate but everything was great. The weather was perfect for sitting outside and we didn't have to wait long for a table. Our server was quick and efficient and everyone really enjoyed their meals. It was a great place to stop.
google avatar

Hudson G.

Yelp
Service was literally non-existent at this restaurant. There were two servers visible, but they stayed in the back of the bar the entire time on their cell phones and eating the entire time. They did not come back to our table for 30 minutes at a time literally. The food quality was very poor and the appetizer shrimp was overcooked and borderline stale. Our drinkers were never refilled. I will definitely never be back to this establishment nor would I recommend dining here sadly. It's unfortunate as it's a good location close to the beach, but there is a clear lack of management and basic customer service.
google avatar

Antranise N.

Yelp
I wanted breakfast and stopped at front porch cafe because some reviews mentioned vegan options. There were not a lot of vegan options. The waitress spoke with the chef and they were able to make me a veggies sauté and home fries. It was delicious! There is out door seating, we sat out side. Surprisingly, the outdoor fan provided a nice cool breeze on that very hot day.
google avatar

Dallas T.

Yelp
The service is excellent and the waitress, Anna, kept my coffee full, fresh and hot! I miss this kind of nice friendly service! The omelette came with a little of everything and it all tasted just so freaking good! Also, this place is fast, I got a table quickly and my food came out piping hot and really quickly. The porch was full of happy people enjoying a nice breeze and good music!

Aysha W.

Yelp
We are staying at the penguin and it comes with breakfast at the front porch. There is a set menu that comes with a fruit plate, scrambled eggs, toast, bacon and potatoes. They would not accommodate me, a pregnant woman that gets nauseous with egg yolk. I wanted egg whites. Didn't even offer an up charge. Simply it could not be done. Meanwhile they have people off the street going to order food as well. They brought our plain scrambled eggs and toast and simply told me they were out of everything else that it comes with. The eggs were cold and we just got up and left. Worst dining experience I've had.
google avatar

E C.

Yelp
I have to say that although the salmon eggs Benedict was good, it was the home fries that really knocked my socks off. Just the best I've ever had. I think they precooked the home fries before cooking them but it was really flavorful.

Rick K.

Yelp
Food was over-cooked and bland. Service was slow in a very empty restaurant. Will not go back. Drinks were good - nice spot on Ocean Drive - maybe just stop for a drink
google avatar

Ida B.

Yelp
Had breakfast at this restaurant during a recent visit. I believe the restaurant is part of the hotel, which explains the rather lengthy distance of the bathroom facilities. It has a huge outside dining area, which would have afforded it's customers a great view of the beach; however, obstructed by a tall building. Tried their version of a Cuban coffee. I've had better tasting. Plus, it was luke warm. The Philly Cheesesteak Omelette and Breakfast Tacos were both mediocre. The potatoes that accompanied both entreés seasoned well but overcooked. I did love the Chia Matcha Breakfast Pudding. It was delicious!! Although for the price paid, I expected a more generous portion. Our waiter was friendly but not very attentive. Hardly checked on us or refilled our water. What left a bad taste in our mouths was the unexpected 20% tip automatically added to the bill. I don't mind tipping that amount if the service provided was actually worth it. In our case, it was not!!

Heather C.

Yelp
I wanted to like this place given that we received a recommendation from a local tour guide and we were very hungry! The pictures on the website looked great and it appeared to be a good spot for an afternoon lunch. Unfortunately, it did not meet my expectations. The pesto pasta was undercooked and had an unpleasant texture, which made it hard to enjoy. In fact, I was unable to eat more than a few bites of it. My friend ordered the shrimp salad and was expecting a fresh and cool meal. The shrimp was fried and the salad warm. It had clearly been sitting under a heat lamp as the cheese was partially melted and lettuce limp, which seemed unusual for shrimp salad and took away from its freshness. Speaking of freshness, the food overall didn't seem very fresh nor was it tasteful, which was a big letdown. Additionally, the service was mediocre. The staff was polite but not particularly attentive, and there was a noticeable delay in getting our food, (especially given that it was not crowded). To be fair, the waiter did offer to send my pasta back and speak to the chef, but I was too tired and hungry to deal with waiting for a new dish. While the ambiance was nice, the overall dining experience didn't live up to the standard I had hoped for. I ate two pieces of bread and had a Diet Coke for $30.00! I hope the restaurant can address these issues, but based on my experience, I can't recommend it at this time.
google avatar

Mia T.

Yelp
not clean at all. tables are gross and had syrup on them... had to clean it myself. Food was undercooked. Ordered the salmon Benedict and the whites of the egg were underdone and runny. Latte was average. Service was pretty slow. Would not come back sadly
google avatar

Sahithi T.

Yelp
Got a veggie burger and coffee for brunch, the food was so good but definitely be ready for a bit of a wait. We were also seated outside and it was pretty hot in Miami that day, but very close to the beach so great location.

Christy D.

Yelp
Don't expect them to accommodate allergies. Today my party was told "we're too busy for me to talk the chef." By the way they were not that busy. We were seated immediately.
google avatar

Justin R.

Yelp
I wish I had more hands....so I could give this restaurant more thumbs down. Dirty, poor service, overpriced.

Ami S.

Yelp
Store bought orange juice. Hard Frozen pancakes. Cold potatoes. Save your money and go elsewhere !!!!

Yelp
I love Front Porch for brunch but I also recently discovered them for dinner. They have some great plates on the dinner menu and I always love to dine Al fresco in their outside seating. I highly recommend for both brunch and dinner. You can always count on their French toast with a zest of orange and all their plates are served never greasy. For dinner their fried fish sandwich or pork chop are really good. They had a chicken piccata pasta that was stellar but it has been removed from the menu. Either way stop On in. Parking can be a little Fussy since it's right at the end Of Ocean Drive.

Yelp
Waiting for places to open early in the morning was a tough one for Miami Beach especially when you get in at 5 in the morning. Reading some of the review and as it as walking distance from where we were, it was a shot. Right around when it was open, about 8 am. There was a a few tables occupied already, probably holiday makers like myself. They have both inside and patio seating. Which of course on ocean drive, you would utilize it. Hostess as sweet as well all the other wait staff/waiters. The guys were always ready to fill out drinks up and if we needed anything. Food wise, there was a good amount for the breakfast menu. It was pretty reasonable for south beach. As it is on the main strip on ocean drive. Didn't take long for food to arrive. Omelette was good, as well as breakfast bowl. If your looking for something simple for breakfast, this place isn't bad. Heads up, if you need restroom. A code is needed but quite a long one and it's all the way in the back of hotel.
google avatar

Christina H.

Yelp
If you're needing to feel more grounded after too many nights/early mornings out in Miami, The Front Porch Cafe is the perfect place to unwind. I came in for breakfast and ordered the Scrambled Green Eggs with a side of potatoes and toast. Essentially, the Scrambled Green Eggs was a basic scramble with a bit of zhuzh (cheese & pesto). Super simple meal, but it's always the basics that bring you back home.

Stephanie F.

Yelp
Made a reservation for outside table, and when we arrived we were told that we couldn't have an outside table. When we told her "but we have a reservation, can we atleast wait for one?" The hosted replied "no." We were seated inside. Sat down we 1030, ordered coffee and and iced tea. We were told "we are out of iced tea today." We proceeded to order 2 omelettes and did not get our food until 11:45 When the food finally did arrive, it was a 5/10. This was a super disappointing experience because we had dined here 3 years ago and had a great experience at that time. Really seems like it has gone way downhill.

Billy J.

Yelp
The creamer for coffee had gone bad and was clumpy as I poured it into my bitter coffee. Also I would not recommend the Philly Cheese Steak Omelette. Terrible. Really bad.
google avatar

Angela G.

Yelp
We sat outside, waitress was fast and attentive. Light, chill beach vibe. She said they are known for their French toast and it was definitely tasty. The Greek yogurt was unflavored, thick, rich, and creamy. Perfect with the crunchy granola, strawberries, and banana.

Yelp
I had a great meal here. Came for brunch on a Tuesday morning and was seated immediately. Service was great and food was very tasty. Definitely order the pancakes - some of the best I've ever eaten. Huevos rancheros were also delicious. I would come back for sure!

Yelp
This cute little beach cafe is the perfect spot for breakfast, lunch, and dinner! We were the first people here this morning and were sat immediately! The waiter was very kind and our food came out in about ten minutes. The Breakfast Burrito was perfect! Crispy on the outside and warm on the inside. The Bonanza Scramble was pretty average and the eggs were not salted very much at all. The breakfast potatoes were a big pile of mush if i'm being honest, and I like my breakfast potatoes crispy so I was a little disappointed in those. The Granola Pancake was AMAZING! 10/10 would recommend this to ANYONE that comes here. It's made with wheat flour, granola, oats, almonds, and honey, and smells absolutely heavenly! It is also very filling so I recommend the half order. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. I will most definitely be coming back here!

Yelp
My order was wrong, twice. And the server didn't check on us very often. The food quality was fine, but the lack of service and errors with my orders overshadowed any positive experiences with the breakfast. There are so many other better places to eat in that area, so I won't be going back.

Yelp
Nothing was lacking at the Front Porch in terms of food and service. It was really helpful to have the fans to keep the area cool. I ordered the curry chicken salad, which turned out to be delicious. Moreover, we tried the Fish Tacos, one fried and the other grilled, both of which were quite tasty. The drinks were on point, nothing special. The servers were very friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was great, and the vibe was relaxed. We had a great time and will definitely be back.

Yelp
I have to come here once on every visit to South Beach and enjoy brunch outside with fantastic people watching. This time, Cindy took great care of us...it was her first week on the job and she was an absolute delight. The breakfast burrito is excellent. I will say their new home fries potato side which is more like sliced potatoes, is not anywhere near as good as how they used to be prepared. They were exceptionally greasy. Next time will opt for the side of fruit instead.

Yelp
We've been going to the Front Porch Café for years. The location is great, they have nice outdoor seating or air conditioned indoor if you prefer. They offer all day breakfast and also have a decent lunch menu. I've always had breakfast. I love their egg white omelettes (no extra charge!) with fresh ingredients, choice of sides and toast. They have the best pancakes!! Perfect for sharing as dessert. They make a good Bloody Mary too.
