20 Disney World Secrets You've Never Heard Before

"A film-themed boat attraction built on the foundations of a prior Norway-based dark ride: it reused the former attraction's ride vehicles and a similar track layout to create a new narrative experience tied to the popular animated franchise, demonstrating the parks' practice of recycling mechanical infrastructure into fresh storytelling." - Carlye Wisel Carlye Wisel Carlye Wisel is one of the nation's leading theme park journalists. Such a cool ride! Relaxing and magical… up until the fun drop. The effects and animatronics are incredible, really bring the story to life. Heads up: the line can get long, so plan ahead or grab Genie+. A must-do for Frozen fans and anyone who enjoys a fun, whimsical boat ride!

I was excited to try the very first Frozen ride, and overall, it was a great ride. However, being the original ride also means it was built way back with older technology. The newer versions in Hong Kong and Tokyo had outshined this original version. Especially the one in Tokyo, have taken things to a whole new level. Still, it’s a must for Frozen fans!

So I’ll say the good in the bad. However before that I think Maelstrom was a much better ride and better fit the ambiance for the pavilion. That being said it is a nice slow water ride the whole family can ride. Visually it is pretty good. However sometimes the robots are broke. The music is sounds are good. You usually do not get wet. The downside is it usually had a long wait and if you are not a frozen fan you might not care for it. Again the previous ride was better and wish they would bring it back.

Since my daughter loves Frozen, we go on this ride 2–3 times every time we visit. The area around it is beautiful, but the ride itself feels very rushed and unfinished. There’s almost no detailed decoration inside — it could be designed so much better. It honestly feels more like a test version of a ride rather than a finished one.

Stuck on the ride in an uphill position for an eternity. The ride itself is not very complex or interesting either, not sure why it needs to get stuck like this

This ride was really well done. Great animatronics, sound, effects. My daughter loved it. It was her favorite out of Epcot and Hollywood Studios. Great little drops and storytelling on a small boat without getting wet.

The ride concept is still the same as maelstrom. It’s been updated on the popularity of the movie. It’s still a good ride. I still would like to see that they were able to keep some of the original things to represent the ride. One of my family members is not a fan of it based off the drop near the end of the ride. The boat is still the same original concept from when the attraction opened. The cast members are able to keep your group size and party together and get you on the ride on time as well.

Nice ride for kids but us grown ups loved it too- especially Elsa. When you get to the sauna display you’re almost at the end, just fyi. Expect to get a little wet! (Not too bad, I had my phone out and was okay, but definitely a good spritz!) the frozen gift shop at the end has so many gorgeous items! Must check it out!
