Fru Hagen

The food is good (great vegetarian lasagna). The service is friendly. But the atmosphere is not so great, the music is too loud.

Love this cosy restaurant/bar!! We visited a few bars in Grunerlokka but this one is by far my favorite. The cocktails here are unique and absolutely delicious. We didn't order any food but everything coming out of the kitchen looked colorful and largely portioned!! I highly recommend!

Cozy place for lunch or late night driks. The staff there is very helpfull. Recomend the sandwiches, tasty

Fru Hagen is a great place to eat on a warm summer evening in Oslo. The food is tasty, but if you order the burger, be sure to ask for it well cooked - their chef is under the impression that a bloody burger is safe to eat. My guest sent her bloody burger back - our waiter informed us that's how they cook burgers, that a new burger wasn't an option, but they could cook the burger some more - the burger came back burned on the bottom (the cheese on top prohibited that side from being heated) and just as pink inside - my guest was left eating the 3 small potatoes on her plate, the burnt burger now abandoned.

We had lunch here. Service was fine, but the food was very disappointing. The vegetarian burger was not cooked and the patty was more like a sloppy, pumpkin sauce which poured out of the burger when I picked it up. The wedges on the side were also under cooked and soggy.

Solid bar food (the salad with goat cheese, honey, and walnuts is a notch above that), vibrant atmosphere, and good selection of beers. I had a delicious sour beer. Would go back. Has outdoor seating.

Great breakfast - relaxed atmosphere. Eggs Benedict were on point - muffin was super light and fluffy and the hollandaise was not too rich. Loved it 😁

Fru hagen is a place for "young people", perhaps primarily students seemingly run by students as they struggle with the simple concept of customer service. I had the cheeseburger which was okay apart from the overfried potatoes. The burger itself looks homemade and was very good. They have a fair assortement of alcohol mostly wine and drinks. If you want beer, go somewhere else like Amundsen.
