Fru Haugans Hotel

We stayed for only 1 night.|Very nice hotel with easy access. In a nice areas of the center with the small cute old wooden house in the same street.|We had a dog with us so we had a room in the annels.|This was fine, simple and very retro style room as in the old building.|Bedding was ok and the small bathroom too. Beautiful view from the room.|Fantastic breakfast, and also with gluten free options.|We would definitely come agaon.

I stayed at this hotel unexpectedly late at night and was pleasantly surprised by the exceptional service I received from the receptionist on duty. Despite the hour, he was very dedicated and friendly. The room exceeded all my expectations, with a beautiful view. Also, the cleanliness and breakfast were simply great. The service at the buffet, from both the waiters and the chef, was exceptional. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This was a tired hotel and the room was very warm, with no chance of cooling it much. As previously mentioned, the beds and pillows are very soft, which is not ideal for people like me who need a firm mattress. The food was okay and the location is very good.

This historic hotel is situated in a very nice part of the town. It is right on the river and has a lovely perspective on the surrounding mountains and countryside. My room was a tiny single and it was clean but very old. |The dinner I had was very delicious and the service was good. Breakfast was also good, with a nice variety of offerings. |Because of its location and food I’d stay here again.

Our stay at this 4-star hotel was extremely disappointing. Despite checking in late afternoon, our room was not fully prepared, and maintenance and cleanliness were lacking. The room was unbearably hot, with no fan provided, and there were visible stains and even loose hair in the shower. To make matters worse, an extra bed broke in the middle of the night, and the hotel claimed they couldn't guarantee proper beds. No sincere apology or reasonable compensation was offered by the staff. For the high price we paid, the quality and service were far below expectations. On a positive note, the breakfast was nice. Would not recommend!

Nice hotel. Stayed for one night as part of a legers tour. Room was clean but the pillows and bed too soft. And as with most of the hotels w heave stayed at, the 'double' room was 2 single beds put together which slides apart in the night. 🙈|Dinner was a sit-down group meal so no choice, just what was given. Food was tasty though and vegetarians accommodated for. Breakfast buffet was good with a large variety of cold and hot options. Overall a comfortable stay but having single beds put together is a nuisance but not exclusive to this hotel ||

I would never think that someone would Setba party at night on employees floor with music so loud you can't even sleep on third floor

Beautiful hotel in a beautiful town. We really appreciated that we could stay with animals. Pet-friendly rooms are in a separate building, so people with allergies are accomodated as well.
