Food is delicious and very well prepared. The service is attentive. I would definitely recommend if you want to eat elevated German cuisine!

We ordered the three-course menu and could choose freely between both the seasonal and the ordinary menu. Me and my partner chose six different courses, and we were completely satisfied with them all. Amazing! Even the relatively simple dish of pork knuckle with mashed peas had been made into an exciting meal. Attentive and nice staff, even if they did feel a little bit uncomfortable with English. Only downside is the weak range of beers (we're not really wine people, for whom the menu offered plenty), but this is the case for almost any Berlin restaurant and not worth omitting a star for.

I won a brunch for two at Hotel Oderberger from foodvergnuegen . And because I already knew that another „light lockdown“ is coming I didn‘t wait long to treat myself to it. 😊 There were barely any people around so we could really enjoy our brunch in peace. As this is a hotel brunch it was a buffet but with plenty of cool options from bread to waffles and cereals. They even offered homemade smoothies all separately packaged due to these pandemic times, of course. But my favourite part of this brunch were the „made to order“ eggs. 🤤👌🏼 As expected the service was also great, making this an overall joyful experience! 😊

We visited a while back and couldn't have been happier with the food or service. We were greeted with smiles from ear to ear and were treated like royalty, although quite pricey for our budget, it was worth the money we paid. Will definitely be coming back here! Would recommend to anyone.

This has quickly become one of our favorite restaurants in Berlin. The quality and variety of the menu is only topped.by the service. The architecture is stunning.

I had a great experience. Food wine selection was amazing. The building itself is something worth to see.

Nice people, nice place. Quality of the omelette, almost perfect. But the rest is too cheap in relation to the price.

Yelp
We stayed here for a week when visiting Berlin this summer and really enjoyed our time. The location is absolutely fantastic. Yes, I get that Prenzlauer Berg is the cliche "hip" area in Berlin right now but there's a reason for that. The hotel is within easy walking distance of Mauerpark, a whole multitude of good restaurants and multiple U-Bahn and tram stops. There's a lovely bar downstairs with outdoor seating as well as a rooftop balcony. The hotel's price was reasonable for what you get. One thing I'm not sure I'd recommend is getting breakfast here. It was decent but pricey and I was not impressed by the freshness of their bread and pastries, especially when you're in a neighborhood with so many other options.

Yelp
Ulli B. recommended this wonderful hotel. I asked for a hotel with good breakfast and spa/swimmingpool. I got much more. Stadtbad Oderberger Straße was built in 1899-1902. It was part of the big plan to supply the exploding population in Berlin with good sanitation (stadtbad), secure food supply (markthalle), and hospitals. Healthy workers produce more!! For many years until 1986 it functioned as public bath with swimmingpool. In 1986 the pool was closed, but until mid 90ties you could go here for a bath. A lot of the flats in area didn't have any. Now again the Stadtbad Oderberger have reopened, but as a hotel with the swimmingpool as a very central feature. Hotel guest and the public can go swimming. The pool is 20 meters and 27° C. The pool area can be turned into a big ballroom. Hotel guest pay € 4 to go to the pool. Change at your room, take the hotel bathrobe on, and go to the reception to get your ticket. They also have a sauna and some other spa facilities, but I didn't use them. The former changing room have been turned into a library and a bar (Kaminbar). Every hotel gust get a free drink in the bar. The rooms are nicely done, and features from the old public bath have been incorporated. In our room they have used old tiles for a table top and door to the bathroom was a old locker door. At the room you have a fridge (empty, so go the the nearby Rewe to stuck up on beer and wine), and coffee/tea machine with pads. The television is HD and you can watch most German broadcasts (not SKY). You can also use the television as a radio. Every room has a safe. In the bathroom you get organic body lotion and soap. Breakfast at the hotel is insane good. You get all the normal breakfast cereals, cheeses, meat products, type of breads, and brewages. On top are sekt, special coffees, waffles, and a chef doing eggs on your demand. Most products are home made or local, even the honey. The bread is not top nutch, but it's my only negative thing to say. Staff are very helpfull, and some of them are politely socialising with the guests. It gives the hotel a warming and homely fell. The WiFi is working well.

Yelp
So disappointed with the management of this hotel .Booked through their website thinking the hotel would not incur booking fees. So wrong. Too bad for being nice. It was early on in covid. We live in Los Angeles & were visiting Berlin to see our grandson perform with Santa Monica High School orchestra at the Berliner Philharmonie ...so cool... Booked 2 rooms costing around $1,800 ... We cancelled then the hotel cancelled and closed for business during our paid for stay.., Ok they offered us firstly til end of 2020 to visit. Really not feasible with restrictions from US They kept pointing to the option of cancellation when booking Please who knew we had a pandemic on the horizon. They kept emphasizing they were a small family owned hotel. What about us older grandparents loosing our money to them. Every and all the bookings we made were refunded. Including the small hotel in Amsterdam. Th e 1st concert was planned there.., All I expected was for them to honor our commitment to choosing Oderberger hotel and extend the reservation til it was ok for us to travel They took my money & don't care.. Do not book directly with them I am still upset about their handling of our situation. So rigid & unfriendly Agnes .

Yelp
Great location, impressive history and layout complete with beautiful swimming pool and guest rooms. My only issue was with the aggressive staff on the front desk not really embracing the whole "hospitality' thing - or maybe I've been in America too long!

Yelp
My family and I stayed at Hotel Oderberger for six nights in March and it was truely excellent. Many pluses, and a couple of suggestions. Good/Excellent: - staff are excellent for check in, the bar, and in the breakfast area - the young man who was there was very friendly and helpful - the breakfast that was included was excellent, and a lot of options for various allergies and vegetarians in the family, great way to have a balanced meal before touring Berlin every day - check in and check out were easy and friendly both in German and English - very peaceful and quiet (aside from the odd fire truck from the fire station down the road) - easily accessible on Berlin's excellent public transit system - situated close to a number of excellent restaurants and shops, safe area, easy to walk around, and plenty to see and experience Suggestions: - have the swimming pool free for hotel guests, I know 4 Euro is not a lot, but just makes it nicer - give parents the ability to have a glass of wine/beer by the pool while the kids swim - have a corkscrew/bottle opener in the room - dim the emergency lights in to apartments, way too bright at nighttime, makes it hard to sleep unless you cover it with a shirt or something which defeats the purpose - have a comfortable armchair/sofa in the apartment to make it nice to sit a read a book or watch the TV, the chairs were a bit industrial and not super relaxing We look forward to staying again on our next trip to Berlin!

Yelp
My work schedule changed WEEKS before I was supposed to arrive. They offer NO refund of any kind. This poor customer service doesn't float in the USA.
