Frutilandia Country Club Dr.

I’ve been here a couple of times. There’s one girl who has the best customer service skills in Arizona, and she makes a mean shake. The birria queso tacos and consommé are phenomenal! The shakes are divine! The place is nice and clean. The tortillas are spectacular. The refried beans inside the tortilla are absolutely disgusting. My kids hated them. I gave them a try and regretted it instantly.

Excellent ice cream. Had the churro shake and it was beyond delicious. The cashier was also excellent with helping us choose something that fit our liking.

I can't lie. The staff and atmosphere are worth it alone. The food is filling, and u can actually taste the flavors. Great place to chill and enjoy the food and tequilas.

It was my first time in a Fruitlandia! Loved it BTW! I was looking over the menu the sweet girl working there said to me you look like a Pina Colada girl and made me one of the best drinks that I've ever had! She blended it together and it was incredible! I wish I knew her name but she was great!! Very clean and inviting!! Thank you!!

Good food, friendly atmosphere, always clean, well-stocked salsa bar, food has a lot of flavor, they made a mistake on my order, I was willing to pay for what I wanted, and of course they gave it to me for free... Again that goes back to that excellent customer service. I will definitely be back here

Place is clean, staff was friendly. Food was delicious and served quickly (I visted durning lunch). I ordered 3 Birria tacos on flour tortillas, Hochata, and got to try the Machalada. Quality was exceptional. Since it was "Taco Tuesday" their was a discount on Tacos. Definitely will be recommending this place to others. One of the best tasting tacos I've had In AZ.

We usually like everything we get here, but the Dubai cup was not great. The contents were watered down/runny. It was not nice thick chocolate and cream around the strawberries. I didn't even finish it. We live directly across the street and we're excited when we saw they began to carry it. I'm surprised because the food is usually good here, but this cup was no where near as good as the treat shop on Country club down by the 60.

Do yourself a favor and get here as fast as you can. You can throw a dart at the menu blindfolded and i guarantee you'll land on something delicious. Incredible service, fresh made to order food, quality ingredients and amazing taste. Absolute 5 stars across the board!

Really great experience at this place. I was walked through all of the flavors toppings and menu items. It was extremely kind of the worker to take the time to give me a full tour and really helped me make my decision. I was even given a house suggestion as to what to order based on my preferences. This place offers dairy free options. Ordered a Mango Paleta with Dark Chocolate, Coconut, and strawberries. I recommend getting the dark chocolate dipped on half the paleta if possible. Really enjoyable experience with The Paleta Bar.

Delicious. Good service. Extensive menu. Clean area to enjoy the food. Friendly staff. Did I mention delicious?

So far I've returned a few times. There drinks are refreshing and delicious. Place is clean. Staff is friendly and quick.

When I moved to this area a few months back, this was one of the first places I discovered. This Fruitlandia location in Mesa is quite spacious and located right on the corner of Country Club & University. Fruitlandia is known for their Mexican desserts. Popular items are their fresh fruit combos like fresas con crema, milkshakes, ice cream, shaved ice, and fruit drinks. The drinks are so colorful and full of all types of fresh fruit. I ordered the Dulce Churro for my first drink. They also have popular street food items like sonoran dogs, nachos and carne asada fries. Fruitlandia has become one of my favorite spots for a late night treat.

YUMMY DESSERT I wish they had smaller sizes! The smallest sized piña colada was huge, and a bit pricy. I could have been fine with way less! Either way, it was delicious with fresh flavors and great ice cream. They have a very large menu with many options, I'd definitely return!

Fruitlandia is a great spot to enjoy an occasional what people consider Mexican desserts. The place has plenty of seats and great service. I've been here a few times, and have always ordered the Elote En Vaso (Corn in a Cup) with crushed hot cheetos. Very filling.

I love every single thing about this place. The staff are all amazing and beautiful too. The Ice cream is to die for. So many delicious treats to choose from. So many flavors too. I actually had a cheeseburger and fries last night and it was absolutely delicious too. I have a hard time staying away from that place. I highly recommend it. I have been going there for at least one year.

Food is not all that . It's not good make sure you pay attention to the prices and if you want a small say it!! otherwise they'll scam you and charge you a large. Paid $50 for 2 tostilocos and a raspado. Never once did they ask me small or large they just charged me. It's ridiculous stay away from here save your money and go somewhere else. Scamming ass place for real.

We were so looking forward to a nice cool ice cream and fruit treat on a 115 degree day. But as we stood in line waiting our turn to order we noticed that at least 3 of the employees who were preparing the food were not wearing their masks properly. Yes, they had masks on, but given that this was on the weekend when the number of Covid cases was hiring all time highs in Arizona (6/13) , they had them below their noses. And one would pull hers all of the way down while standing over the prepared treats in order to yell out names. When we brought it to the attention of the employee she said that if they wear it all of the time they run out of oxygen. So we talked next to the manager (who was working the cash register and had her mask on correctly) who glanced over at the workers and said they were wearing them properly. We decided that we were not comfortable ordering food and left. But we didn't give up. We went to the other location on Gilbert and saw that it's closed for renovations. We called just in case they would do a take out orders and the man who answered the phone explained that the masks are optional. For us eating at Frutilandia is optional as well and we opted out. DQ here we come.

So glad I decided to try Fruitlandia tonight & give Coldstone Creamery a break. Such a sweet surprise to find an establishment that serves such delicious delicacies. Cream based goodness or fruity & savory. You get what you pay for & well worth your money. Service was excellent & clean. I will be bringing my kids back.

If you have a sweet tooth and can never say no to ice cream, there's no doubt this place won't satisfy that sweet tooth. They have an ice cream bar and an array of Mexican desserts. I had ice cream which was gooey, sweet, and refreshing on a hot day. They have about 16 different flavors to choose from. They do allow samples which is helpful because some places don't. They have conservative flavors, but if you're wanting to mix it up they have some bizarre flavors as well. Next time I return, I'll order a shave ice. It all looked delicious and I didn't try it last time because I couldn't decide which one I wanted. I didn't do my research ahead of time. Enjoy!

Yummy unique treats. Fresh fruit and ice cream.....come on!!! So good. Friendly staff, too. Next door is their Mexican food restaurant, also very good!!

Is this a Mormon thing? I've heard sweets are big out here. I was on vacation in Phoenix area for 4 days. I ate here 3 times. I can't get enough. The food wasn't that special but those giant fruit drinks are really something. I'm obsessed and can't wait to go back.

UPDATE: The owner comments back stating that it was a pregnant worker that stopped to lower her mask. Look back at the other persons review. He does the same thing. Justifying his employees not wearing masks. Now I cannot physically see any pregnant employees. However, my review was clear, MULTIPLE employees were not wearing masks properly. And just because you are a small business does not justify being unsanitary or unsafe. We also warned the homeless couple about the food prior to offering it. Wouldn't you question someone turning over freshly made food? Plain and simple the owner doesn't even practice professionalism. Why would you put yourself at risk to eat here.

First timer the horchata was great but as everyone says on the other reviews the elote was so nasty not cooked all the way and watery. Mine looked like it only had the cotija cheese and nothing else on it

the service was great how ever me and my family literally got food poisoning we ordered two meals of chicken tenders and cueritos and ice cream came out to $57 as soon as we got home my baby of 4 started throwing up then four hours later me and my family all started having symptoms! nausea , diarrhea, fever ,body aches! we lasted being sick for three days to eating this !! idk if the food they gave us was expired but for me and 5 others to also get sick ? this was literally our last meal and we all got sick! NEVER again will we buy anything from this location Or any frutalandia that was such a scary moment not being able to eat for three days and throwing up nonstop!!!!

They got our order wrong and the food isnt even good! We ordered cut fruit and we had to go back in to get it.(ordering online doesnt tell you that you can only pick 4 fruits) We also ordered 2 sonoran hot dogs, one with no avocado cream, no beans. There were beans and it even said it on the box!!! The hot dogs were terrible and sloppy. All the ingredients thrown on there. Soggy and didnt taste fully cooked. Disappointed, tried to just have the elote bc we cant eat the hot dogs. The corn was not even cooked and it was like a soup! Just water not mayonnaise. The only thing good was the drinks. This food is not hard to make and we paid 40 total. Keep your tip, give me a refund!

Delicious FOOD too! Try the Tostados de Ceviche! The desserts of course are OUTSTANDING here but the food is delicious too! For a healthy meal try the Tostados de Ceviche! They are great (but ask for extra tostados as the servings are very generous!) ! Pretty mild, but can add the salsa that comes with, they are fresh and delicious! Muy frescas y deliciosas! PS despite older reviews everyone I have seen in recent visits have all been wearing masks and they are assuring social distancing and looks really clean. I feel safe going here and I am being very careful

Best place ever sooooo delicious literally everything on the menu is YUM! You can't go there without trying multiple things on the menu. My only issue is the inconvenient locations but worth the drive once in a while.

Mexican snacks? ¡Sí, porfavor! A friend told me they had opened a location in Mesa and I had to go check it out :D I ordered a mangoneada (mango + chile will always be my fave) and the bf got a Raspado de Nuez, we also ordered some nachos. We didn't have to wait long but it wasn't that busy since we went there early. We tried our drinks and mine was as fruity and delicious as I was expecting, and the Pecan raspado was very creamy and not too sweet. The space is very open and clean, and there's an IG wall to show off your drinks lol. Overall we were happy with our snacks and will be back soon to try more from the menu! :)

Stopped in for the first time at this new location. I had the nachos supreme which were really tasty. I also had a Sonoran hot dog. The nachos were great, I'd definitely get them again. My only issue with the Sonoran dog was that these dogs seem to always have the crappiest/cheapest wieners in them. The toppings however were on-point! I'd still get another dog, it was good. I also tried the mango juice, which tasted great. I do wish they would run the juice through a sieve or something to get the chunks of the mango pit out so you don't suck them up your straw. The juice itself was really tasty though!

I can honestly say I was super disappointed with my order today. Ordered 2 sonoran dogs 1 w/o beans & no guacamole spread. The dogs both came loaded with beans on a soggy mayonaise soaked untoasted regular hotdog bun with 1 crumbled piece of bacon sprinkled on top. Completely inedible!! I was absolutely catfished by pics & description!! Strike 1! The cup of elote was mostly watered down and lacked any taste and under cooked corn made for strike 2 on my meal. Was also initially not given the chopped fruit bowl & had to return in to the store for it..strike 3 Only saving grace was the churro shake...

I love the drinks. Great flavors, lots of variety, with ones I haven't found elsewhere. The ice cream is also absolutely delectable! Just remember, don't tap the glass as it might scare the ice cream. Next visit is trying the food, which looks great as well.

This place is the BOMB. It has so many options of Mexican/Latin style desserts that are of the highest quality and freshness that is exceptional. The service is great and friendly. You won't go wrong with anything that you order. Go see for yourself, you won't be disappointed.

It's new, it's cool and the staff has great smiles and service Conviently located on The corner of Country Club and University in Mesa with good parking. I went today during a busy time (lunch) and had a Horchata which was really delicious as well as a shrimp ceviche tostada and Elote in a cup. While the shrimp ceviche tostada was fantastic, the Elote cup was not good at all. The corn was bitter and was ridiculously overcooked. For five dollars a cup I expected it to be much better, especially with being during a busy time. I am only giving at four stars because of this. However, their treats are super delicious and as I said the ceviche and the Horchata were great.

Love this location. Never disappointed with the food here, especially the corn in the cup!

they don't answer the phone , they take money $61 but don't deliver product very disappointed with poor business practice. still waiting for owner to refund my $ from day ago. or call me back. should not be open if you can't take care of customers.

Five stars! Me and my friends were standing far away the counter, looking what we're gonna get. Then the owner is so nice and kind, came up asked us is it the first time here. I wasn't that hungry so I wasn't planning to order, but the fruit drinks look so good. The owner introduced most food to us, it aroused my interest to the sinful fruit salad. I was concerned about if it's too sweet, what surprised me is the owner ask the staff to make me a sample! It's just right, not too sweet not plain. Definitely gonna come back next time try the banana split.

1st time at Frutilandia eating everything and playin!!!!!!! Connect 4 on steroids. We had a great time! Def thumbs up. Very busy but fun environment. Nice to slow down with fam and just relax. Seems like all we do is hurry... This review is from few weeks ago before Corona virus hit the media....

Place is way over priced, I asked for a mango shaved ice and they just gave me mango slices when I never asked for mango slices and made me pay for another one honestly feel like they did that on purpose, pretty mid place tbh 0/10

They offer curbside pickup on the website but it's not true they force you to go inside where there is a lot of people they don't really seem to care about social distancing we got our order at 846 when we ordered at 807 and we only got one thing we waited in the patio like they suggested and nobody ever came out when we called again they rudely told us we have to go in to pick up because they already went outside but nobody came out at anytime we like to support local businesses but please do better to protect the employees and customers Update -Management did reach out to apologize thank you but we did not order at the Gilbert location

Did not like the Service they offer you had to buy before you use thier restroom and literally I had my toddler running back and forth because she need to use restroom and they wanted me to take my time to order before my little one can use thier restroom that not ok

if I could give the store on Alma & baseline less than one star I would. we stopped for a mangoneada & a elote. It took them 20 min to get our order. The elote was a watery soup, half of the cup of was lukewarm corn, no hot sauce, lime, butter, etc. The guy on the street on a golf cart makes his bigger, hotter & spicier. A helluva lot cheaper too & better service. AVOID THIS TRAP, it sucks!!! BTW... ur employees need to stay off their cell phones and service customers

I love this place! So much good stuff! But they are slow! I got a drink (Mango Aguas frescas) it took them 15 minutes to get me the drink which was already made and sitting in a big container. Beware if your in a hurry or thirsty!

I love this place!!! I'm so happy that this location is closer to my house nowyou won't get me out of here!!! Everything on the menu is DELICIOUS and the space is awesome they even have games you can play

My daughter loves their unique desserts that have fruits and amazing flavors in them. So many different ice creams, more than Coldstone. If I didn't quit sweets before I found this place then I might have gotten diabetes here real fast. My girl and daughter both love coming here. My daughter's favorite is the strawberry cheesecake. It's cool to see a Mexican ice cream spot that offers an alternative dessert.
