Amazing food, amazing beer, amazing location. The best veggie burger I've ever had. The beetroot jam was fantastic, I don't know how I'll have a veggie burger without it! Cod was excellent, salmon spread was really good too. They brew all their own beer in house, and both the porter and the strawberry-rhubarb sour were top notch. Wish we were here longer!!!

The best pizza in Iceland, either you like surf or turf option, one worth driving to. I deeply recommend to check this place out. Dinner has full menu options after 5 pm. Hot Cookie desert is fit to share, don’t come at it solo, sugar bomb, yet very tasty!

We had the miso cod filet and Naddi’s beef burger with homemade bacon jam. I was expecting tasty food based on the reviews but was still surprised at just how good it was. As this is the only restaurant in town, do yourself a favor and make a reservation! We stayed at Hotel Jokulsarlon last night and ate an overpriced meal at their restaurant that was forgettable at best. This was easily the best meal of the Iceland trip thus far!

We had the absolute pleasure of being served by Simone and Elena at Frystiklefinn, they truly made our wedding anniversary celebration unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, Simone welcomed us with genuine warmth and thoughtful attention. He went above and beyond to make the evening feel special, and his kind gestures didn’t go unnoticed. The food was incredible, but it was Simone’s hospitality that made the night truly memorable. He made us feel so cared for, and his personal touch added so much meaning to the occasion. If you’re visiting Frystiklefinn, you’re in great hands with Simone—he’s a standout in every way.

Food was delicious and not too pricy for what we got. we liked the atmosphere, it was cozy and personal. The waiters were extraordinarily accomodating and attentive, they recommended food and drinks and if they didn’t know something or weren’t sure, they immediately asked the kitchen staff or looked it up. All in all, it was a wonderful experience.

As it was busy we sat in the lounge room upstairs which was lovely and quiet so we could chat. The service was great and the food very tasty. Can recommend the fish and chips and the sausage pie. The local pale ale wasn't too gassy. If you are staying local then definitely worth a visit.

This is the only restaurant open in this little town at this season. Unlike the menu posted in google reviews, there are not many choices. I guess it is due to the season. The fish stew is very good. The local sampling is also very unique.

Delicious food, I loved the pulled lamb burger and warm chocolate chip cookie with vanilla ice cream!
