Where to Find Europe's Hottest New Beach Clubs

"On the perennial party isle of Mykonos, Paris-based designer Fabrizio Casiraghi, of Experimental Chalet, Verbier, has created Ftelia Beach Club. This burnt-orange cluster of bungalows and bars on the northern shore was inspired by the terra-cotta roof tiles and white vernacular architecture of the island that Casiraghi saw from his plane the first time he flew in. The club terraces down, amphitheater-like, toward the sand. In the restaurant above, an international and athletic crowd (the area is a windsurfing hot spot) tucks into rooted but refined Greek grub—lobster, sea urchin, and taramosalata—washed down with Assyrtiko, a minerally white from hot new Santorini winemaker Vassaltis. Then they might fall asleep in one of the club’s über-cool ’60s armchairs by Gae Aulenti."

A new investment poorly executed. The colors and the choice of the materials seems irrelevant especially against the landscape of the island. I was a bit blown away by the choice of the ceiling fans but then again this is subjective. The salad although really fresh was on the salty side, while the nicely presented fish plate contained fish bones (the beets could be a bit softer to match the softness of the actual fish with the nicely served crunchy greens). The dessert was the most welcome dish; very well executed. The staff are really cool, pleasant and accommodating. As far as pricing goes it's on the expensive side making it less appealing to other premium places around the island. It isn't worth a second visit.

Good food, great views and gorgeous decor. The wait staff was helpful and accommodating. The menu is more traditional Italian than Greek, but everything we had was super good. Little on the higher end of moderately priced ($13-$28/entree, and I think very expensive for pizza) but worth the money!

Words can’t describe the breathtaking beauty of this place; it's truly magical. The event I attended was incredibly well-organized, and I cherished every single moment I spent there. The staff at the entrance were exceptionally kind and made our experience even more enjoyable. If you plan to visit, I highly recommend making a reservation in advance. I will undoubtedly return to this incredible place in the future."

Wonderful location, perfect service and incredible food. If you are into Ibiza vibes, your expectations will be exceeded. We will for sure be back

Nice beach and good food and wine (expect mykonos prices $$$). Only downside was we paid 20euros each for sunbed (with towels) and were told we werent allowed to put up the umbrellas due to the wind... became quite uncomfortable after a few hours in direct sun with no shade

Big expectations, zero satisfaction. Expected to see Guy Gerber, the guy didn’t even show up because we were 20 all together with the staff. This place is a con as a whole island of Mykonos btw. I never felt so robbed as at this place. I beg everyone that want to come here to spend its money, don’t do it, there are many other ways and places where you can have more fun for less money.

Ive been to many great places on mykonos but this was very disappointing. The food was bad specially for the price. (It is a bit cheaper then alemagou and scorpios) The burrata should be creamy, the steak had too much fat and was like the beef pasta not enjoyable. The service was terrible, we kept looking for somebody to pour our drinks, i dont mind do it myself but then leave the bottles close. at the end i did it for the table. There was much more but lets just say the staff wasnt very forthcoming. The contrast to other places is stark and ppl notice since although it was guy gerber playing the place was empty.
