Exactly what you need before a day skiing. Breakfast burritos, sandwiches, bagels, coffee and smoothies. They are super fast and the food is great. Breakfast burrito and California burritos are perfect. Bagels are loaded with cream cheese. The prices are reasonable too.

🌯 Veggie Burritos that Pack a Punch! Fuel Cafe’s burritos are loaded, flavorful, and the perfect fuel to kickstart your day. 🥐 Cheesy Egg Croissants = Morning Bliss Soft, flaky, and oozing with cheesy goodness—Fuel Cafe nailed breakfast perfection.

Google
Fantastic Breakfast Spot! Fuel Cafe is a gem! The food was fresh and flavorful—I loved the California Burrito. The atmosphere was cozy, and the staff was friendly and attentive. Perfect for starting the day on a high note. Highly recommend! Great option around the mountain if you want something fresh and fast. Totally recommend this place. Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Google
Excellent product with high-end ingredients stuffed into a small store that can't possibly handle the traffic that it gets. The lobby isn't particularly clean either which is concerning. Well, I was there at least two different people tripped over the trash can. During morning times even during the off season not even winter the line can get out the door. Once you actually get your product, the coffee is great. The food's great. They have a great selection of bagels with different spreads and ingredients that go on them. And the smoothies are excellent for those that need a protein boost in the morning.

Google
I’m knocking a few stars off because while last year they were open early, this year they have a hard time opening before 8am. They’ve got a ‘will return at 07:30’ sign though its currently 7:46 and a large group is standing outside. This has been consistently the issue all week. More than half the crowd left to First Chair. This place is losing business. Original Review: Amazing breakfast spot. Visiting Snowmass for a couple days and Fuel was a short uphill climb from our rooms at Stonebridge. Each morning we walked over and had a great breakfast. Thanks to Covid, only 2-3 people were allowed inside to order to-go food, though there are outdoor covered tables and ledges to eat at. Once you have your order in, head back outside and within only a handful of minutes they will call your name and hand you your food. Turn-around was very quick, lines evaporated in no time, food was piping hot. Very good coffee, amazing breakfast burritos (potatoes cooked perfect). Breakfast costs were half what my hotel was charging. We visited every single morning that we were in town.

Google
Fuel is the best breakfast spot on the mountain. Love the breakfast burrito and the cold brew.

Google
Good cafe in the Snowmass Village mall. Dark roasted coffee. Awesome selection of breakfast foods and a good looking lunch menu. Limited season. We went during the start of snow season and it was jammed. Rad spot for chilling when you have some down time. Also- VERY friendly! Even though the line was out the door the guy working the register ran through it fast and with a positive attitude!!

Google
We tried the Southwest burrito with steak. Very good flavor! We’ll be back.

Yelp
Great place to start off the day. Friendly crew with helpful information about the are. Food and coffee were great too!!

Emily M.

Yelp
Huge breakfast burritos! Wow! I got the Mediterranean and couldn't finish it. Great flavor. The egg bagel sandwich was also quite large. Really good value for the price ($10 burritos + $3 if you want protein, including a veggie sausage!). The iced coffee was on point too. Very fast to get the burritos.

Deena J.

Yelp
Hefty burritos, very filling -- a lot of protein & filling inside. Bagel was a bit small and cream cheese tasted like it was mixed with mayonnaise.

Mark T.

Yelp
Everything is good ! Love this place and the staff. My Goto when in Snowmass Village !! Breakfast Burritos are bomb and so is everything else !

Aireal S.

Yelp
The line was long and the place was crowded but the service was very quick! The eggs were mid but it was good for the price and size. I added chalula for more flavor. The hot chocolate was AMAZING. Definitely grab one to warm up after hitting the slopes. All the workers were nice, super cute little shop

Steven C.

Yelp
Southwest breakfast burrito was yummy. Paired with a fresh Americano and we're happy. It was a gorgeous day to sit outside and enjoy the weather. Big flavor, little place.

Kevin R.

Yelp
Fast friendly service. Coffee beverage was just ok and bagel sandwich was flavorless, which was puzzling as it was on an Everything Bagel.

Stephanie F.

Yelp
We ordered take out twice from here while staying in Snowmass Village for a couple days. The service was great and the food was delicious. We absolutely can recommend this place and would go back if we are in town again.

Gabrielle B.

Yelp
Great place for coffee in the snowmass village mall! I got a dirty chai latte and it was amazing. Not too spicy, not too sweet. The breakfast burritos and food in general all looked so good, but unfortunately I didn't try anything during my stay. I like that they were actually open early too because most stores didn't open until 9/10am.

Cameron H.

Yelp
Love this shop! The workers know me by name, and exactly what I wanna order! The green giant smoothie is so delicious with a little added protein always curbs my craving for a healthy start to my day. For the first time I ordered a plain bagel with strawberry cream cheese and it was so delicious as well. I frequent this place when I'm working, and it's what I look forward to everyday!

Truth T.

Yelp
Great selection and always extremely fast. Would suggest an online order option as it's tough to get through on the phone sometimes. But reliable spot for breakfast/lunch

Emma T.

Yelp
I have been wanting to try this place since I arrived in Snowmass five days ago. Their hours are a bit irregular. According to Yelp they are open until 5 PM, but the first time I tried to place a call-in order at 3:30 PM, I got a recording that they were now open for the winter season (it's now June) and they are open daily usually until 3 PM, but not to leave a message because they don't check it. Then the next day, I stopped by to place an order around 8 AM and there was staff there, but they said they just got a new system and hoped to open around 10 AM. I called again around 12:30 PM to order lunch and got the same winter recording. Later I noticed a sign on the door that they would reopen Friday. Now it's Sunday and I finally placed an order! I called ahead so my order would be ready when I arrived and that worked well. I got the California burrito and added sausage. Like others have commented, it as light on avocado and heavy on eggs and potatoes. None the less, it was a super tasty and filling burrito. I also ordered the strawberry banana smoothie, but got without the mango juice due to allergy. I found it really overpowered by orange juice. This may have been due to my request to omit the mango juice, but I had a hard time tasting the banana and got a lot of orange. The staff was friendly and efficient, but would hope they would update the answering machine message and improve communication on hours. With that being said, it is a great spot for breakfast while in Snowmass and I may also go back for lunch before I leave.

Yelp
This place has been a staple of Snowmass Village for years. This is the third owner since I've been around and by FAR the worst. To their credit, I had a good experience the other day. they were actually open when I went to get food- a really nice and polite young lady was working. That said- I've been there during their business hours 4-5 times this winter and they have been closed hours after posted open and hours before posted closing hours. Once with people milling around inside and just not bothering to explain to anyone outside (8-10 people) why they weren't open. I will say- the food is generally very good when you get it (they kept the recipes from the original owners mostly and the guys in the kitchen do a great job). But I would advise you have backup plans if you try to get food from there because they are the least reliable restaurant I've ever seen. I live 5 minutes away and I won't go there anymore without another plan. I wish Dylan or Concha would come back and take over...

Skyler L.

Yelp
Stink eye, bad vibe service. Not going back. Better places in the mall for coffee. Too unfriendly for the prices there.

Sharon R.

Yelp
Fuel was one of the few places that we repeated during our stay. Mostly because you can't beat the convenience of a 3 minute walk to our condo. But also: - several milks available (almond, soy, coconut, and most importantly, oat) - vegan sandwich marked on menu (avocado, very thinly sliced sweet potato, tahini spread, red onion, lettuce) - several vegan smoothies, including green giant which was a burst of flavor. Made with soy milk + mango, peaches, and bananas - Bagel options (plain, multi grain, +) - We made our own vegan bagel sandwich with veggie sausage and tahini spread. Definitely can recommend this combo (even if it doesn't look pretty!) It was surprisingly good - Coffee was decent - Staff was very friendly

Jassail G.

Yelp
I've only tried the burritos and they're pretty basic. But the prices are decent for being in Snowmass Village.

Gretchen E.

Yelp
I got the California burrito and while it's not like they piled it with avocado, it was fine. I am disabled and a friend watched them being prepared as I was up on another level and the elevator was out of order.

Michael W.

Yelp
So good. California burrito with chorizo is such a great way to wake up before hitting the slopes. My group loved their food too. It's a little shop with a hole in the wall feel that has good service and moves pretty quickly. 100% recommend to hit for breakfast before skiing/boarding.

Tim L.

Yelp
Breakfast burritos rock. And these guys do it right. There's usually a line out the door and it's because the food is Yummy

Stephanie B.

Yelp
Fuel was a such a great place to go for a great coffee and delish bagel, burrito, or sandwich back in the day. With the new owners it has gone WAAAYYY downhill. It simply relies on their location (really the only bagel gig in town) and realizes they don't have to work too hard to get customers. It takes forever bc they clearly do not have enough staff and the guy in the back making food is working his tail off just to get stuff out and so quality control is impossible. The coffee drinks are subpar. The guy taking orders seems to be in a higher rank than the cook and coffee makers, and while is nice enough, doesn't really care about quality or customer service. And finally....dirty and dusty. While there, I saw one of the coffee girls behind the counter point to something, go get a can of ant killer, and spray it and then leave it on the counter where they were making drinks. I was completely grossed out. Please town of Snowmass, bring Paradise back, Stew Pot please do breakfast sandwiches (HIGHLY recommend Stew Pot for lunch, we love), Louis Swiss please open a location or if there is another bagel/burrito shop out there please open in town!!!

Grace B.

Yelp
Best grab-and-go breakfast in Snowmass!! This is one of the few stops in Snowmass mall where we could find a hot breakfast that was less than $10. The breakfast burritos and breakfast bagel sandwiches are incredible--they are big enough to share between two people and the bagels/tortillas that they use are fresh and chewy. My boyfriend and I split the southwest breakfast burrito the first morning and the egg/cheese bagel sandwich with sun dried tomato cream cheese the next morning and both were amazing!!The shop itself is small and does not have much indoor seating so plan to eat at one of the many tables outside. The coffees and lattes are also affordable and delicious. This is definitely a must-stop if you are looking for quick and yummy breakfast before skiing!

AJ O.

Yelp
Outstanding burritos, smoothies and coffee. Also even if there is a line, it's quick.

Kristina T.

Yelp
Fuel is not a place to fill up your gas tank, but it is a great spot to fill up your empty stomach. This little cafe opens daily at 7 A.M., and it is the most affordable food option in Snowmass Village. The breakfast menu consists of bagels and burritos. The lunch menu consists of sandwiches, paninis, and wraps. The all-day menu consists of smoothies, coffee drinks, and baked goods. The food is nothing fancy, but it hits the spot. After all, nothing beats a hot made-to-order meal on any day - especially a cold winter day. The ordering process is super simple. Place your order and then wait outside for your name to be called. The wait for the food is pretty short. There is a small dining area outside, but I prefer to take my food home to enjoy. I have been to Fuel twice and have tried the California burrito with chorizo and the wild mushroom panini. I always like to add meat to my burrito, and I enjoy any panini with prosciutto in it. The food will not leave you stuffed, but it is enough to fill up one person. The prices really are affordable considering how everything is so expensive in the area. Unless you are looking to have a nice sit-down meal and experience, Fuel is a super convenient spot to refuel your body.

Yelp
we arrived at published opening time of 7am with a group of 10... hoping for breakfast and coffee before we hit the road. door was unlocked so we entered, but staff turned us away. they wouldn't serve us.

Ben E.

Yelp
Food and coffee are solid, but online it says they open at 7, on their door it says 7:30, however most days they didn't open till after 8. Like bruh

Walter M.

Yelp
California breakfast burrito Medium Hot Coffee Breakfast under $12.00 in Aspen Definitely recommend coming here for a quick breakfast. Food and coffee were great. Good stuff.

lisa s.

Yelp
Waited 45 minutes for coffee today only to learn the hours online are wrong and the coffee maker didn't show up. I watched the staff eat breakfast while I waited in line in the cold. Bummer. This place used to be so good.

Cassandra B.

Yelp
Great smoothies and yummy breakfast!! I recommend the pesto cream cheese bagel and the strawberry banana smoothie! Prices are a little high but makes sense for the location

Art M.

Yelp
Food was awful. Ordered Panini sandwich with turkey, sautéed onions, and asparagus. In my first bite I bit into what looked like a stick of wood! Then more appeared. This was the asparagus. Totally disgusting. Next appeared the onions sliced par-boiled. Turkey was the main event. One slice folded over and wilted lettuce due to the sandwich being heated. The bun was ok. I will not return to Fuel. I felt ripped off. Art

Yelp
Great little breakfast joint, good coffee and bagels (as well as other options). Staff were friendly and quick.

Melanie A.

Yelp
Super yummy breakfast place with gluten free options, and affordable too! They will do any breakfast burrito as "naked" in a bowl or in corn tortilla tacos. I ordered that and an iced coffee and was able to eat in their outdoor seating area. The location is great, walkable and right at the end of the mall. Staff was wearing masks and limiting 1-2 people inside at once just for pickup only.

Ronnie F A.

Yelp
Shitty, horrible customer service. All of the employees have a chip on their shoulders. One of the lady read our order incorrectly and we corrected her to ensure we have the right food. She had a big attitude. California burrito had no potatoes, no salsa, tiny piece of avocaodo. Next day I requested to have all ingedients, they said we should have said it yesterday Another lady said why we came back. Better business bureau will hear from them. 0 rating for this place. Will go somewhere else

Bob B.

Yelp
I visited the Snowmass area for two weeks and went to Fuel every morning. They open at 7:30 and there was always a queue till after 9:30 or so. Yet, the Fuel team services their customers quickly and personally! They ask you how you are doing, are calm and always make sure the order is correct. I always bought the same item, a large mocha latte, 1x pump of chocolate, and extra hot. Ha...yes, I'm particular! The person taking orders changed frequently but one young man was always there. Maybe he's the owner or manager as he seems to be doing everything at once. After a week or so, he remembered my name and then he occasionally helped the cashier get my drink order correctly entered. My last day....when I was in front of a long queue......and was placing my order, that young man appeared and handed me my drink before I placed my order! Was such a nice and unexpected gesture that I've never received anywhere else. And that's the kinda place Fuel is...so, if you are in Snowmass Village...don't be intimidated by the queue....they offer great breakfast sandwiches, bagels, and pastries....they make excellent espresso, coffee, and other drinks....and their service is unmatched. Enjoy, Bob

Amy A.

Yelp
Good food. Breakfast burritos are delicious. Not much seating, and staff is kind of "meh" about helping you. But overall a nice experience.

Jolene H.

Yelp
We were so happy to find a delicious and affordable breakfast option where we could eat and run before hitting the slopes. We're gluten-free so we weren't sure if there would be options for us as many of the reviews said 'carb-heavy' options but we were pleasantly welcomed by their menu board boasting yummy breakfast tacos with corn tortillas. I had the California tacos with bacon, yummy! My boyfriend had the Mediterranean tacos with ham, double yummy! Fresh ingredients, fast service and delicious food for on the go. We'll definitely be back!

Perrin W.

Yelp
Absolutely GREAT place to go get a smoothie or coffee before getting in the mountain. Not to mention, they even have amazing food for after. The employees are absolutely fantastic and deserve a raise! Andreas is one of the best, but that's hard to say because they are all amazing. These are the places that make snowmass snowmass. Aspen is missing places like this! Aspen is a total facade of its former self, but we are so lucky in snowmass to have places like Fuel!! Highly, highly recommend

Sherree D.

Yelp
I realize that, based on the overall high rating, I'm in the minority here but we were disappointed in this place. The line was out the door (a good sign!) on a summer Friday holiday (7/5) morning but it went very quickly. The 3 in my crew each tried a different breakfast burrito - the California, the Southwest, and the Mediterranean - but we all said the exact same thing: too much of the cheap fillings (egg + potato) and very little of the good stuff, regardless what that "good stuff" would have been for the 3 different flavors (spinach, pico/salsa, cheese, sauce, etc.). All 3 burritos desperately needed salt which we, unfortunately, didn't have access to. Sadly these made for a very bland breakfast. (On the up side, whoever folded them really knew what they were doing! These were easy to eat on the road!) B O T T O M L I N E : Maybe we caught them on a bad day...?

Smriti A.

Yelp
Good, and fresh food at affordable prices. I had Mexican corta which they served hot. Enjoyed having it with mountain view Thanks!

Linda C.

Yelp
Was looking for a cheap eats in the area and this place showed up. Food: We ordered breakfast burritos which were okay. The positive is that the burritos do fill you up but flavor-wise, it's nothing to phone home about. The coffee was mediocre as well. I ordered a mocha and it was really sweet. I probably should've asked for much less syrup. Service: The staff is attentive and quick to get through the line of people. They work fast and efficiently to get out orders as quickly as possible. They can get a line in the morning as people are looking to grab a quick bite before hitting the slopes but you never wait that long. Location: It's tucked away in the corner at the end of the 'mall' area. The place only has a couple of seats inside so be prepared to take your food/drink to go. Overall, it's a good spot for quick cheap eats but nothing really mind-blowing.

Katherine R.

Yelp
Small interior but covered outside with hot sauce on the tables. Probably the best coffee i've ever had (1 pump caramel and splash of almond milk). the worker was so sweet and efficient. Love it here

Jonathan B.

Yelp
It is often the simple things done exceptionally well that define excellence. This is the best example of that rule. The burritos are out of this world and the smoothies are creative and tasty. They don't offer all kinds of things. Burritos, bagels, sandwiches and smoothies and all amazing.

Gary W.

Yelp
Great little place for excellent coffee and good food, right in the heart of Snowmass. Wonderful service, tasty food and great espresso. Tried a couple of their breakfast burritos and bagel sandwiches, and each were very tasty...really liked the Californian. Great fresh ingredients, reasonable price and overall good experience. Loved the coffee/latte. Staff are friendly and service is fast.

Morgan M.

Yelp
The best (and quickest) breakfast spot in Snowmass! We had an early morning hike planned and when I saw that Fuel was open at 7am for breakfast, I added it to our itinerary, and I'm so glad I did. We arrived to Fuel at about 7:10am, and there was already a long line out the door. I was so impressed with how quickly the line moved and fast we received our food after we ordered. The menu consists of different bagel and burrito options, with some pre-designed suggestions created for you. My boyfriend and I took advantage of "building our own" breakfast sandwich and they did not disappoint! Everything tasted so fresh and was delicious. On top of our breakfast sandwiches, we each ordered a smoothie and loved them! Again, super fresh tasting and refreshing. It was the perfect post-hike meal.

A. R.

Yelp
Tony who works here is a scum bag. They didn't toast any bagels in our to go order. I called and told him and he told me to bring the food back if I wanted a refund. It was a TO GO order and he expects me to take a bus back from Buttermilk with his garbage food to get a refund. Now I'm paying for another breakfast for my kids. What a loser establishment, I had heard they had new ownership, but still hoped the place would be decent. It's not, and the people who work there are rude and classless.

Lauren J.

Yelp
Thank god since this is like the only breakfast joint in Snowmass, it's good! My husband and I were in desperate need of breakfast when we got two bfast burritos and coffees. LIFESAVERS. We ended up trying the Californian, the Mediterranean, and the Southwestern over the weekend. All were great. fresh ingredients, a bit large, but not too much so, especially for the price. The staff was friendly and crankin' no matter how many people were in there! It was awesome.

Heidi S.

Yelp
Awesome morning coffee and great bagel choices. Really fast and friendly service. Stopped here every morning the whole week

Lisa T.

Yelp
Food (5/5): Hidden away in Snowmass Mall is Fuel, a surprisingly delicious and reasonably priced breakfast and lunch spot. They specialize in breakfast burritos, bagels, sandwiches, smoothies, and desserts. While the sandwiches looked yummy (got my eyes on you, sweet potato) and were only $10 including tax, I opted for the California breakfast burrito ($6.25 including tax). It's your standard-sized burrito (think Chipotle), and it's filled with eggs, cheese, avocado, sour cream, and salsa. Definitely recommend adding meat for those carnivores out there! Afterwards, I got the Razzle Dazzle smoothie which is the raspberry/blueberry smoothie. Very generous sizing with the 24 oz. and also $6.25 including tax. It had a smooth consistency with no ice chunks so overall very good! Service (5/5): The staff here are extremely sweet and didn't mind answering my (silly) questions. Very fast counter service in prepping the food (I must have waited no more than 2-3 minutes). They'll call your name and you can pick up once it's ready. Atmosphere (4/5): Fuel is a very quaint and unassuming space, which is a relief from the posh Aspen / Snowmass feel sometimes. Seating is limited (5-6 at most in the entire space), and it's all bar stool seating but I think there were more tables outside (though cold!) Overall, I love this place. Fuel is tucked away farthest from Snowmass (top of Fannie Hill, which you can reach with the gondolas) toward the back of Snowmass Mall. Hopefully I'll be back to try out the sandwiches too the next time we come back to hit the powder!

Ryan S.

Yelp
I lived in Snowmass Village for 7 years and worked there, year round, for almost 12. Fuel is my go to breakfast spot. I have had hundreds of California burritos. Great coffee, burritos, bagels, smoothies etc. It's quick, easy, priced fairly and friendly. Try this local spot!

Lesley A.

Yelp
Itsy bits little place in Snowmass Village. I had a bagel egg sandwich during Ride the Rockies. It hit the spot and coffee was okay. My husband's burrito was okay. Nice staff - good little place in a ski village.
