25 Best Airbnbs in Mexico City | Condé Nast Traveler

"This plant-filled marvel of a condo is located between La Condesa, La Juarez, and downtown, making it the perfect spot from which to enjoy bicycling or walking. (A nearby bike service called ecobici is a great way to get around.) The rental itself has four bedrooms and sleeps six, as some of the beds are singles. It's a good option for slow travel since longer stays are allowed here." - Meredith Carey

Located in the chic Roma Norte neighborhood, Fuente de Cibeles is one of Mexico City’s more elegant and understated landmarks. A replica of Madrid’s iconic fountain, it’s not only a nod to the friendship between Mexico and Spain, but also a scenic gathering point in one of the city’s most walkable districts.

This is a large fountain with an even larger sculpture. There are a few benches surrounding it and there are bars/restaurants surrounding the opposite side of the street all the way around.

Where you can take the Turibus that will take you to various significant and historic sites/locations when in Mexico City for the first time. The picture is of some delicious tacos de canasta we got while waiting for our bus. They were super yummy! 😋

Fuente de Cibeles. A beautiful little plaza in Mexico City surrounded by excellent restaurants, scenery and pubs. A great way to spend an afternoon or an evening. Fun fact: this fountain is an exact replica of the famous one in Madrid next to the old Communications Palace (now Madrid city hall) and was a gift from the Spanish people to the people of Mexico 🇲🇽 ❤️ 🇪🇦

Come stroll, find a place to sit and people watch, eat, drink, and see the fuente. It’s a staple in our city. Everyone knows and can refer to this spot.

Open market and square with history , churros and elote, also do your souvenir shopping here it's cheaper than the one in Mexico City that everyone goes to. After this check out Casa Frida

I visit this area twice. The fountain is not working. There is a wall around it so perhaps they are working on it.👨🏻‍🔧 This is another location with large CDMX letters if you are into taking photos like that 😃 There is a water shortage⛲

Beautiful place were the Spanish people living in Mexico City gather to celebrate victories of the Spanish soccer team or teams of the Spanish League. There is a lot of cafes and places to eat. You can get there with the Turibus, a bus that makes a tour for all the city.

Yelp
What a cool landmark! This huge statue of a woman riding a chariot, pulled by two huge lions in a fountain is downright amazing. This statue is copied from an original in Madrid, Spain made in the late 1700's. The statue was donated by some benefactors in Madrid, who wished to show the ongoing friendship between the two metropolises. This is really one of the coolest statues I've seen in a public setting- the lions command the attention of the traffic roundabout. I'm just glad I was walking through here so I could take the time to appreciate this huge monument. Be careful throwing coins in this fountain, as the goddess being towed by those lions is the goddess of fertility! The statue has a big sign that says "CDMX" that's a cool place to grab a selfie in front of. There's so many cool places to hang out on this plaza- many bars and restaurants surround this place. It also seems to be on the double-decker bus tours, as there's a lot of them that come rumbling through here!
