There are a lot of unique items. I definitely recommend shopping at this gift shop.

We have been going to Boca Grande for 25 plus years. Love Fugates. To us, It is like a step back in time but even better! The manager who we met several years ago is great. Friendly, helpful and just a great person. I have a retail store up north and would love to have someone like her running my store. Great place!

I never leave bad reviews but the employees here are shockingly rude & obviously don’t value their customers. I recommend spending your money elsewhere

I bought a pair of Sperry sandals and the sole on both shoes started to separate 6 weeks light use. I paid $53 and called the store to inform them of the situation. I was told to call back on Monday as the owner was going to be in that day. I called Monday and again was told the owner was not in. I called a third time. Never got to speak to the owner (who was there) and told no return after 30 days, Store policy. I can't believe they would be selling merchandise that can't hold up for 30-42 days. I wasn't even offered store credit. I live here locally, I am not a tourist. When they say shop locally and support our small shop owners! Well take it from me ..... DON'T SHOP Here! Waste of your money!

A fantastic island gift shop. It has everything you could think of. I spent awhile in this treasure. Rachel was the spectacular employee that took care of me.

Great little gift shop with some unique beachy items. The clerks were all so friendly. A bit on the pricey side but expected due to being located on Boca. Found a unique mermaid ornament for my Christmas collection.

Gifts, t-shirts, sportswear, jewelry. We stop each time we come to see what they have. Helpful staff. Prices appropriate for a tourist area. Nice selection of well made and nicely designed t-shirts.

Great unique selection of merch. Hope they can bounce back from all the bad luck resulting from the hurricanes.

Wow! What an adorable piece of Boca Grande history! All the girls in the store were super nice & helpful; there are so many gifts to choose from it's beyond! My friend purchased the coolest hat! We very much enjoyed our visit! I will for sure be back!

This is a cool store with everything and everything. There is a location in Boca Grande and in Venice, FL. They have souvenirs, clothing for men and women and children, as well as accessories like watches and jewelries. They also have items for the kitchen as well as for the beach. There's just an array of everything. I guess you could describe it as the department store of the island. Since it is on the island, it does have island prices, it is pricey, at least in my opinion. The stuff they have is definitely stuff I would love to buy, but will prefer to buy it elsewhere. Still it's a cool store to browse through.

No trip to Boca Grande is compete without a visit to Fugates and the Temptation, both iconic institutions one across the street from the other. Fugates is like a mini department store but for island life on Gasparilla Island. Men's and women's clothing, bar ware, gifts or whatever you need to survive on the island.

The clothing in this store is super cute, the home items are also very neat, but I have to say the staff was rather rude; on the women's side with clothing they are only slightly helpful, but they constantly treat you like you are trying to steal something. It was uncomfortable to shop there and if I am spending $200 on a dress, I have no reason to consider stealing not ever even if I wasn't. I am disappointed, as I live in Boca for half the year and I refer people to places on the island, I will not be referring my tenants here, to be treated in that manner.

Best store in boca grande super nice workers told my son the price was $70 and it turned out to be $125 and gave it to him for 70 super nice people amazing product.God bless

My family is always asking for a gift for me to bring back after my travels. I knew after all the stellar reviews, this was a great place to find something for them. As a mecca for local and high end purchases, I knew I could find the perfect Florida gift to bring home. Searching around, it did not take long for me to find a couple of t-shirts for two family members to enjoy while boating this summer as well as a couple of shot glasses (for family members who have a collection of their travels and mine). While some of the items can be quite hefty in price compared to other stores (some shirts are way overpriced), there is a lot of variety in here to find anything you really need (sunscreen, hats, towels, gift wrap). Again, regardless of whatever you are looking for, this place will have it. And, the ladies that run this store are the nicest you will meet in Boca Grande. Even if you are staying in town and forgot your lucky Sperry's, you can purchase a new pair here! How about sunglasses? You need those in Florida and this would be the place to get them. So, if you are looking for a gift or just need an item forgotten at home, stop in here for a quick look-a-loo to find what you need.

Well the staff in this "boutique " shop needs some serious training. My wife made the error of walking in with a coffee and got approached by a rude employee who approached the situation snarky and wrong . Essentially the clerk essentially walked my wife out of the store . How about "we can hold that for you while you shop" I witnessed this and promptly set down the 300.00 worth of goods I had selected and walked out behind them. We are local to area and take visitors to this place often . Not again . Your little policy enforcement BS lost you multiple sales over the season . Learn a little customer service . You will grow your business.

Fugate's is a gift shop/clothing shop in the heart of Boca Grande. Low prices on shoes, especially sales on Sperry Topsiders. You will find some neat things in this shop. The prices are high (except for some good sale items) but you are in Boca Grande after all!

Fugate's is a Boca Grande landmark and it amazes me that while it stocks a little of this and a little of that, there always is something you want to buy. Don't expect Macy's but imagine that this is the only department store you could reach before the bridge made trips in bad weather possible.

Cards, clothes, shoes and accessories for men and women, toys, big Vera Bradley section, gifts...lots of good stuff.

A large store for the island - tons of t-shirts, plus a Vera Bradley section, a small group of cute, but useful shoes & flip flops, jewelry, household gifts, some ornaments, wedding gifts, cards, and even toys. It's attached to a women's focused store with bathing suits, cover ups, pants, skirts, shorts, jewelry, cute and fancy sandals and shoes - great customer service in there and attention to detail.

Definitely best shop in Boca. Diverse, unique, large selection of items. Great staff!
