富士吉田ユースホステル Fujiyoshida Youth Hostel

Great hostel! Everything was clean, not noisy and the owner was super kind. The beds were very confortable. I truly recommend this place!

Very nice hostel, the nicest place we stayed (out of 4 places) during our holiday. The room is large and comfortable, beds made up on arrival, and it's very quiet at night - had a rare few good nights of sleep! The place is very clean and the shower was a special treat - very warm and powerful! - and lovely soft towels provided. The owner is lovely and attentive, speaks a good level of English, and even gave us a recommendation for where we could get cheap bike hire nearby. We were also allowed to leave our luggage in the lobby after checkout

The host is very welcoming, kind and attentive. This place is warm and Japanese style designed including the futon beds. We loved the decor and felt at home at once. Our room has a beautiful view of Mt Fuji and a full wall of windows which gives beautiful natural light. It is spacious enough and equipped with comfortable linen, a small dining table with sitting cushions, towel dryer, hair dryer, hangers, air-condition and humidifier. Having said that, we didn't need the last two as we opened the windows on the insect screen and lots of fresh air was coming in enough to sleep comfortably keeping in mind we are travelling in May. Every other thing is given attention and detail. Although shared, the toilet room and shower room are always immaculately clean. They are both equipped with everything you will need. Also there is a fridge with a freezer to share, and complimentary tea and coffee. This hostel is very clean and maintained, and we will be happy to visit again if we ever come to re-visit the area.

Our stay at this guesthouse was so wonderful! The host is so welcoming and friendly. She was quick to show us everything we need around the house. There is coin laundry, a fridge, complimentary coffee and tea. Everything was very clean and the beds were very cozy and comfortable. We had such a good nights sleep in the quiet of the countryside. Definitely recommend!

I was there on the 24th of June 2024 and it felt like home ❤️ I gotta be honest with you, I wished I was adopted by them hahaha. I love the house itself, it was super clean, comfy, warm, and I felt good. So for all those dirty tourist out there, you better take care and clean after yourself and don't give the host a bad time!

Good location hostel. Near restaurants that are also well priced. Was much nicer than hostels back in my home country. Host was excellent, very polite and cheerful. Let us leave our bags 4 hours before check in. Shared bathroom but we were the only people staying and it would be fine with other guests.

I forgot to bring my bag on the train from Otsuki station to kawaguchico station and lost my bag. I told the lady owner of this youth hostel and she called police station and Otsuki station and explained my situation in details. Thanks to her, I could find my bag back. She is very kind of us. Also this Youth hostel is very clean and well organized, has an amazing and polite service, and its location is very nice, only 5 minutes to walk from gegiko station. Our room is very nice and claen, enough sized room with reasonable price. Its restroom and shower room are very good. I strongly recommend this Youth hostel for those who have a trip for Mt. Fuji.

Such a nice place, the host was really nice, she even gave me chocolate when leaving and most of all the view from my room was… the Mount Fuji itself, just crazy!! Love it and will recommend over and over :)
