I’ve probably been here around 20 times since they opened. Their Social Sunday is a great option if you want to visit without a reservation. I often go without planning ahead. Depending on the day, there might be a line, so I recommend arriving before they open or around 3 PM.
The menu changes every week, which makes every visit exciting. They usually post the weekly menu in their Instagram stories, so you can check in advance.
Lunch is great, but I especially love dinner. They only offer the chef’s omakase course in the evening, and it’s always a treat. Every dish is amazing and carefully prepared. Since the menu changes regularly, you never get bored. I’m constantly surprised by the unique ingredient combinations and impressed by the chef’s creativity and skills.
And of course, the highlight is the Ramen. It’s the main dish in the course, and it’s truly outstanding. I don’t know any other restaurant where Ramen is the centrepiece of a course meal. If this place opened in Japan, I’m sure it would have long lines every day. The balance of flavours is perfect. The chef takes the foundation of traditional Japanese Ramen and adds a personal twist, making it both familiar and original. The quality keeps improving, and the noodles are always amazing. I’ve never had a dish here that I didn’t enjoy.
Also, don’t miss the sake. Even as someone from Japan, I’ve discovered many excellent sake options I had never tried before. Even if you’re not familiar with sake, the staff includes a sake sommelier who always recommends great pairings. I’ve followed their suggestions every time, and they’ve always been spot on.
If you’re unsure, just give it a try. You won’t be disappointed.
