Google
A smaller and decent tower experience compared to very well known cities like Toronto CN Tower or New York Rockefeller Center with massive height and space. However I like their engagement option to get strapped and the activity floor when exiting. I think for the price it's worth a visit with your friends, loved one or family.

If you want to see Fukuoka City's sights, I highly recommend this. After purchasing the ticket, there will be a 5 to 7-minute wait on the 1st floor, especially on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays when there's a large crowd. I suggest going around 6 to 7 p.m. for a breathtaking view of Fukuoka City. The ticket costs 800 yen for individuals above junior high school age. Unfortunately, there are no discounts available for showing your passport at the moment. Additionally, there are spots in the tower where you can capture stunning photos. It's definitely worth a visit. Highly recommended!

Google
Skyscraper with scenic observation deck. This is a 234-metre tall tower located in the Momochihama area of Fukuoka, Japan. It is the tallest seaside tower in Japan. The highest observation deck at 123 metres has a 360° view of the surrounding area. The ticket price to the observation deck is 800 Yen. And don't forget to get the sertificate of your visit there.

Quite the walk from the train station. But Fukuoka tower is gorgeous at night and day. Great views too. ---------------- I came here as part of the https://www.japantowers.jp stamp rally and I am glad I did. I've been to Fukuoka 6 times within recent years, but I have never made my way to Fukuoka tower. Friendly staff and a very nice set up on top! It isn't just plain on the upper floors there are stamp activities too.

Google
Good place for view, I went when the observation deck opened and nothing else was open, I recommended going after 11am, then you can get photo and also cafe is open too. I think it is good for sunset so you can see fukuoka during day and then also at night and take photo at night with the glow in the dark pebble on the ground

Went here last week of April and weather was cloudy. No sunset 🥲. Place not too crowded. You can bring drinks but theres no restroom on the viewing deck. I also Tried waiting for the city lights around 6:30pm but its still not dark.

Google
Worth going to at night. It doesn't have an open air view, which is unfortunate, but I'd go at least once (at night). The beach nearby is peaceful also at night. Not many people.

Google
Amazing views from here! Too bad it was a bit cloudy, but can imagine the beautiful views you could have here. Very good educational things inside as well which I appreciated. If you're a photographer, make sure you bring a zoom, some amazing shots to be had here. Friendly staff and this is a must visit.

Yelp
It's been a long time since I came here before! Prolly more than 25 yrs ago when I climbed up the tower to see the view! The city has grown so much but still maintained the beauty of the city! Fukuoka tower is 3rd tallest building in Japan next to Tokyo tower and 1st for Tokyo sky tree! There's a discount for 65+ (720 yen) and rest for 800 yen per adult. But they are expecting to price up to 1000 yen this summer so if you are around take an advantage of it! They have few photo spots so you can walk around and take some pictures and videos there! Go visit and enjoy!

Yelp
Fukuoka Tower is a 234m tall tower located on Momochi Beach, the tallest tower in Japan, and is a representative tourist attraction of Fukuoka, built using 8,000 sheets of glass. If you take the elevator from the first floor and go up for about 70 seconds, you will reach the 123m high observation deck, where you can see a 360-degree panoramic view of Fukuoka City, the islands floating in Hakata Bay, and the high mountains around. In particular, the elevator operator I met was very kind and professional while I was going up the elevator, and she was really friendly and explained Fukuoka Tower and Fukuoka. I would like to visit again next time if I have the chance.

Yelp
A good place to see the city from up top. Ticket prices aren't too bad but the location is a bit far from the subway but not too bad if you like to walk. The night time view I've read is the best and it didn't disappoint.

Yelp
Great view of the city from the fukuoka tower. We got here by bus since we bought the all day bus pass for 850 yen. The pass also gives a 10% discount if you show your pass. We first walked around the beach area below, and it's a great break to cool off in the tower since it's so humid during the summer. They first asked us to take a group picture that offered a small picture for free, or a bigger picture to buy. We then were greeted by a woman in a bright blue uniform that operated the elevator to take us to the observatory area to see the view of the city. Before going on the elevator, they warn us that there is no bathroom at the top, so be sure to use it on the first floor, where the gift shop is. After viewing, we had to walk 2 floors down (where there are gachupons and a heart to take pictures in) to catch the elevator down. A great tourist attraction to get a view of the city. However, CASH only

Yelp
I like views from high place. I've been to many different towers around the world. I had time in Fukuoka, I didn't want to miss the opportunity to go up to the observation deck. Ticket is 800 yen but if you show your non-Japanese passport, it is 640 yen. I didn't know that at that time and paid the full price. Fukuoka tower is so close to the ocean, you get to enjoy the view of Fukuoka city and the harbor. Views were very nice, I would have loved to come back at night. They said during the Christmas season, they do light up with Christmas theme. Too bad I didn't have time to do so. Fukuoka tower is also known as "lover's sanctuary" as they call it. You pay about 1,000 yen to buy a heart shaped lock. Write you name and date, and put the lock on the wire fence provided. The love for two is supposed to be forever. Sort of cheesy but I thought it was cute. I bet it would be romantic to come back at night with so many city lights and view of ocean. One hour is just about all you need if you are going to just the observation deck. They do have restaurant and although I didn't eat there, it would be very romantic. For the price I paid, it was nice way to spend some afternoon. Next time I would love to come back during sunset and evening.

Yelp
I'm a new tourist in Fukuoka after all. So I gotta check out this touristy spot. You will get a discount entry fee if you show them your non-Japanese passport. Cool deal. Wish the tower was higher but it's good enough just to see the view at night time. You can't complain when you get 360 degree view of this beautiful city. And you will realized that Fukuoka is bigger than you thought. The lighting designs display outside of the tower was cute and clever. It's one of the good reasons to visit the tower during evening or night time.

Yelp
Fun tower with good views of the city. It's a little difficult to get to by metro because it requires a 20 minute walk. The other option from downtown would be to take a local bus. Buses might be a little more difficult for a novice traveler to take since bus lines can be confusing, you have to take a ticket when you board and be ready to pay the exact amount when you leave, and have to figure out which stop to jump out at. There are a couple city busses that use the expressway and take one from the downtown central area right to the tower. But besides the momochi beach area and research park, it's not that close to anything. The admission is ¥820 for an adult (there are discounts you can find at a tourist center) and they warn you when you go up that there is no eating allowed in the tower and no restrooms which seems a bit inconvenient. Views are nice though it can get a bit crowded at the top. They had a free Halloween dress up section which was fun for the season. There are also nice maps that point out the points of interest. The next floor down from the top is the restaurant. One more floor below that is called lovers corner where you can buy a lock and write something on it. The also have a number of convenient selfie stands for your camera, including one in front of the heart of roses for lovers as you wait for the elevator ride down and outside the building to get the entirety. This one is simple and has a reflection mirror so you can see your shot before it takes which seems to confuse some people. Downstairs are some gift shops, bathrooms and a convenience store. There are some more restaurants at the robospace next door or at the beach across the street. They were doing a special event that allowed people to race up the stairs to the top of the tower!

Yelp
Fukuoka tower character welcome at the entrance. There is no big deal, except to see the scenery in high places. Close to Fukuoka City Museum and Yahoo dome.

Yelp
Fukuoka Tower is one of the sights to see in Fukuoka, and I think I would have had a fun time if the weather was better. The tower offers views of the ocean, which is nice b/c it is different than your typical city tower. A usual ticket is 800 yen, however foreigners can show their passport and get a discount to 640 yen, and they have English pamphlets and can tell you about the tower in English as you ascend the elevator. Around the top, there is also an area for couples to put a "lock of love", as well as a photo spot inside a heart - complete with selfie camera stand. Overall, a cool sight, though best with a significant other. Tip: If you get a ticket validated, you can park for 2 hours for free.

Yelp
-- ENTRY -- - Adults: ¥ 800 - Children under 4: ¥ 200 - Persons over 65 years of age: ¥ 500 - Foreigner (passport for proof): ¥ 640 -- OBSERVATION DECK -- You get a panoramic view of Fukuoka and the ocean. The view is absolutely stunning at night, I'm so glad I came later in the night too because the Fukuoka Fireworks Holiday occurred throughout the city for a few weeks. I happen to see a fireworks show from a distance while on deck! There are seats that glow in the dark for you to sit on too! I stayed here for about an hour max. For those who visit during the day time, you could easily visit the beach near Fukuoka Tower. -- LOVE SANCTUARY -- From the Observation Deck, you can head downstairs to the Love Sanctuary. It's not too far from the original Observation Deck, so don't worry, you still get the amazing view. If you have a significant other, this is a cute place for you to visit. They have a disco ball that illuminates white hearts. They even have labeled "Lover's" benches for people to sit on. Best of all, Fukuoka Tower is known for the "Locks of Love" that you can lock onto the designated surrounding premises of the Love Sanctuary Observation Deck. These locks can be purchased from a vending machine at the center of the deck for ¥1000. Super cute concept! This tower illuminates different designs, depending on the time of year and holiday it is! How cool is that?! Fukuoka Tower is a must see for those visiting Fukuoka. TIP: If you purchase a lock at the Love Sanctuary, bring a permanent marker so you can personalize your lock!

Yelp
A nice place to view the city from above, but there isn't much to do around the area. Also quite hard to access since the subway is quite far away.

Yelp
Typical of any elevated city observatory affording great views of the city, beaches, mountains, and water. We headed over after a baseball game at the nearby Fukuoka Yafuoka Dome. Though I enjoyed the visit I don't think its worth going out of your way to see it. The structure is tower encased in glass, no businesses, offices, apartments or hotel occupy the building. Downstairs was far more interesting especially considering we caught a pop up beer garden in the surrounding park. The busiest part of the beach is also in close proximity.
