Full Moon Hostel Budapest

Went for a friend's son's stag weekend and Full Moon was picked because of the cheap price.| Stayed in room 109 on the first floor. Clean comfortable room. Beds made daily. Fantastic location for getting around this wonderful city. Staff are friendly.||The disco everyone mentions in reviews is the no 1 ruin bar disco in Budapest. We weren't bothered at all by the noise.|Great bar next door and a fab pizza place two doors away.||Probably best for a lads weekend away. In my opinion I wouldn't call it a family hotel. Love love love Budapest. Just a thriving beautiful city with so much to see and do ||My advice if you want cheap accomodation in a great location you can't go wrong with Full Moon.

The location is good but the hotel itself is located above the club which makes it quite a noisy and not so comfortable place to stay. The room lacked a lot of facilities such as shampoo and bathing stuff as well as the hair dryer, towels were not enough etc. In all it was decent. Nice view from our hotel room too

Avoid this hotel at all costs! The corridors are packed with screaming young people all night, making sleep impossible. The hotel shares an entrance with a nightclub, and there’s another club on the same floor – the noise level is unbearable. The reception staff are rude and have no sense of service. This place doesn’t even deserve one star!

Great stay. Lovely staff at Reception. Veey close to major attractions of Buda and Pest. Clean comfortable rooms with great room service.

It was a very nice hotel close to the river. The Breakfast was delicious, though the nightclub at the bottom floor made quite a lot of noise in the first and second floors. In the third and fourth floors the noise was cancelled out with the closed doors.

Don’t even think to stay there! This is not a hotel/ hostel. You are not going to get sleep. It’s located right inside of night club, so you are going to hear everything until 6 am! Next thing is AC, they are broken, and all they do is give you a fan.Hot water also very rare! I had to shower in ice cold water.Stay away!!!!

BEWARE !!! This is not a hotel, it shouldn't have a hotel license. There is a disco/bar on the ground floor, right in the middle of the hotel. There is no ceiling above the disco and the music reaches all floors directly. There is constant noise from 5pm to 4am. People are drunkenly shouting in front of your window and passing by your door. It's like they're going to force your room door at any moment. It is impossible for him to sleep because of his drunken shouts and disco sounds. The rooms are not like in the photos. The reception says they are just like that in the photo. Hostel like. Definitely don't stay, don't!!!

Let's start with the good. Nice location of the hotel, within walking distance of many attractions. Breakfast is included, the usual buffet, you can eat to your heart's content. The rooms are standard enough to sleep, take a shower and walk all day long. The big minus of the hotel is terribly loud music. Next to the hotel there is a night club and it's not just nearby, the club is located in the courtyard of the hotel. Noisy, those who find it hard to sleep are better not to settle here. The vibrations from the music are so strong that the bed is shaking. I did not manage to fully relax in this hotel.
