IF YOU ARE ARAB, MUSLIM, or from a different culture read this. Specifically international students. My first year in fullerton college was an interesting experience I came from a different country and I wanted to finish school here. My major needed math so I was placed in a class by my counselor (who btw they are awesome in the international students building) and I made a friend in that class. I had some issues happen and he helped me with it and when the professor saw that who is racist btw she emailed my friend telling him to be careful around arabs because they are dangerous and when I went to the dean about it I was excused from the class and the professor didnt get any consequences to her actions. Talking to other students I was told that this is not her first time doing something like that to different people and different religions. Come to my last year in that college I discovered that lots of the classes that was added for me to pay for which btw was double what others students pay cause I am international I didnt even need them for my major or my general ED. But I was happy to finish what I started but I ended up just deciding to graduate due to me walking around the college with people coming in spreading bad books about arabs and muslims and when the college was informed about it they gave many different dumb excuses and even the solution to that problem was basically deal with it which led the same people to harass me multiple times because they knew I was muslim and arab which ended up with me actually dropping all the classes and graduating with the degrees I had already Then it comes to a balance I had which I actually wanted to pay and was trying to do a payment plan for. For them to tell me oh its too late for a payment plan. Pay everything or it will be sent somehwere else. i email asking for any kind of help so I can pay them and they basically tell me no. On top of that when I emailed them where and how to pay they dismissed me by saying call the office even tho I emailed the same office. All in all dont come here there is WAY better colleges and universities here. Please look at the book that was being spread about islam (false verses btw) but whats even more adorable is that they didnt care if it affected the students

A beautiful campus. You can see these beautiful cherry blossoms 🌸 beginning of March. It only last for a month or so. It gives the campus a great vibe and the feelings of spring bloom.

Not a bad school overall but it's not perfect though. The school has multiple support groups for specific groups of students like veterans or students with disabilities. Those support services have been helpful and kind. It's also not an old school that barely has money for anything, the campus looks decent and doesn't smell bad. A negative though is the personal student online portal stuff through the main website. Canvas has problems with each class I have had. Even though it's my third semester, it might be my last. I don't want to waste my financial aid going to a community college where there is problems with the online course/curriculum because it will affect my grade. Which could easily affect the chance of me reaching my true potential, getting the degree wanted, and/or affecting the chance of me obtaining my choice of career. Maybe it's just my canvas and past professor, I wouldn't know.

Decent professors, decent campus life, however VERY disorganized. There are always issues with admissions and records, its tiring to find out new problems every semester and have to hunt down anyone to get further help

My daughter just started school this month, so far, she's loving it. The school is amazing. My rating is for the parking situations only. Some of the students are still being taking to school and there's no drop off zone for parents. Very inconvenient.

The state university of Fullerton is a massive campus. Serving thousands of students and place has plenty of parking. It’s centrally located on freeway 57. Lots of food places close by.

This institution offers so much for any student looking to further their career or ambitions. As a returning student, I have relied on this institution to guide me through my academics with it's variety of course offerings. Recently the new Instructional Humanities building 2400 was just unveiled which goes to show the investments the college is taking to encourage learning and growth. The first three photos pictured are ones from this building's courtyard where you can sit and study, converse and enjoy the many power outlets to work on your laptop.The waterfall makes for a peaceful and tranquil environment.The last three are of the area outside near a outdoor bench deck where you can take a break in between treks across campus.

There is literally no good reason for your service to be this terrible. Stop forcing people to join your wifi.

Fullerton College is a good and rewarding place to pursue academic excellence in a primarily two-year school. Thank you, Fullerton College!

Fullerton College Campus officials Parking My son had a soccer game here against this school and was told to park in the staff lot. He was given a ticket by an acting campus officer name Jesus Zarate. Remind you his game was after school hours when there was no staff on site. Not a single car. I'm assuming that's why the coaches told the team it was fine to park in the staff lot. Only for most of the team to be ticketed. We tried to fight the ticket only to be told no we still have to pay it. Some of teammates still had the stickers to park but showed prof of the summer stickers as their fall ones hadn't arrived yet in the mail. After sending proof in they were all still declined. Mind you they are paid and up to date!! This school is crappy and they have homeless roaming around too. Besides this parking mess we've had to deal with, it felt unsafe that evening too. That's even parking in the staff lot. The fact that they aren't working with us on a $38 ticket shows they have no compassion for kids who are working and going to school at the same time. This place is horrible. It's just a money grab to make money. You better believe if my boy was an illegal they would wave this parking ticket. In fact if officer Zarate looked up my information and saw my name was Ignacio or a Ramirez or anything Hispanic related he would have thought twice on issuing this ticket. But nope because we are of white decent he didn't give two shits.

I am astonished by the disorganization of the class. I purchased a package deal at the Fullerton College bookstore that included a physical textbook and online access code to complete chapter assignments. Come to find out, my physical textbook didn't correspond to the online textbook. Paragraphs were missing in each chapter, or data statistics were not the same. The textbook was sold to me was published in 2022 and the online textbook was published in 2024. I scratch notes and make highlights physically into my book to help me study information l, hence why I purchased the textbook. When attempting to fill in information that was missing, it became ok much to do in each chapter. I informed my professor that I am getting chapter questions incorrect due to questions being asked that were not in my physical textbook. My professor's response was "...printed textbooks are published every 3 to 4 years. By the time it gets to print what was written is 9 months old before the actual publish date... Unfortunately, we cannot stop the world from changing." Is this something where I say "you're right Professor. What was I thinking?" Why do I spend money on outdated material? It appears that the material is sold at the Fullerton College bookstore because the professor approved it. I ask again, why do I have an outdated textbook that was sold to me by the school?

This is a great college! So many different programs to help students move forward in their education.

I have had great experiences at this college. Recently due to Covid they have a free breakfast and lunch program that I love. Pros 1. Great teachers 2. Easy applying process 3. Open campus 4. Great food spots nearby

I have never had such an awful experience with professors except for Professor Melody La Montia for Photography 101. She does not know how to detail her assignments. She talks down and is very unprofessional in emails. She doesn't even grade assignments she has the tutor do it for her. Seriously don't even know why I dropped sooner.

The counseling office here is a joke especially Citlally Santana. Condescending, rude, and no help at all. What's the purpose of forwarding students here if the counselors don't plan to help? Especially with as much money as we pay? What a complete joke.

This is the best college I attended. It's of course not perfect 100% but I felt happy to graduated. Staffs work so well. Caring, organized, and reputable. Totally, I love it.

This has nothing to do with academics. I attended FC before 1989 and they put all their transcripts into a physical vault somewhere, so I have no access to them. They charged me $5 through Parchment and STILL have not found my transcripts. In this age of digital data they should at LEAST have uploaded all the older transcripts for access. They are delaying an important application that I have in process. Looks like this school is way behind in technology. They told me they have to go to a physical VAULT to get the data, and then SCAN and send to me. One would THINK they would have updated their computer systems by now, since online access has been around for over 25 years. Hope no others are facing this issue.... Good grief, get updated. They FINALY Found them but a very sloppy scan, still better than nothing.

Don't know a single kid graduating here in 2 years. From my experience most kids get stuck there for almost 4 years or transfer out quickly. The counseling department is an absolute joke and basically non existent. When you call the office in any department they are rude and never all that helpful, they do the bare minimum that they can. Registering for classes is also a nightmare, so is parking. Professors are hit or miss tho, although some are teaching classes they themselves have never taken. Do not recommend.

Simply put, Fullerton College embodies excellence. Instructors, student tutors, program managers, coordinators and administrators, as well as the general student body, all deserve medals of high honor. Fullerton College sets the bar high for staff- and student-centered support and programs. I consistently feel welcome, and I am humbled to be a part of such a fantastically wonderful institution. This school is a joke some teachers are great and some are better off at a jr high. This will be my third year and ever single time I've needed to register there has always been a problem. Choose any other school please, you could find better.

Been to this place during a field trip when I was in 7th-grade. I'm really surprised that there are a lot of hard-working students here. I've met a student here and she was so nice. We even had a friendly conversation. There's some wonderful places here.

They over complicate the applying process. Once you apply they bombard you with like over 13 emails and none that help you with the follow up process. Their website is complicated, their apps are all over the place. They use like 4 apps, why so many? Use one and DONE. It's infuriating to say the least. Why can't they simplify the whole process? Who has time to know what to do nothing is simple about the application process with them.

Fullerton JC is another great college to attend with programs and classes that will help you prepare to transfer to Cal State Fullerton or UCI . Attended school here many years ago until i had transferred where i desired. School has a wonderful campus with staff. Just minutes away from Cal State Fullerton and the Fullerton downtown area. Check out the school and i think you may love them.

this is unbelievable they said the promise zoom meeting was going to start at 12 and they are super duper late and i have class in about 15 mins. now im gonna have to be late to class which is super embarrassing and its not even my fault. how can you be late to your own zoom meeting like?!?!?! overall very disappointed in fullerton college right now. other than this monstrosity fullerton is a pretty good school i guess

Very nice unique community college , I came here around 2015 , started fall 2015 to spring 2016 , took breaks here and there , just recently graduated fall 2022 2 associates degrees and it's a very oriented atmosphere environment here , coming from high school and not being a high school person myself , as well coming from types of lifestyles I came from, from high school, Fullerton College has been the place to make me the most educated well rounded person today , as well helped hugely grow as the person I am today, Counseling dept is pretty helpful majority of counselors are helpful , a lot of great resources there for classes in need of help on any class work , a lot of clubs to do activities and be active on campus and the campus life which is what makes Fullerton College , I was a part of Sociology club myself once I came back to Fullerton College in 2019 and 2020 ( 1st 3 beginning months before the pandemic hit ) and took a gap in 2021 whole yr again and came back to campus in 2022 and fall 2022 was my last semester and recently walked this spring graduation Overall it's a very amazing school , as well with the resources there to support the student life My only con biggest con , reason I put 4 stars , is the parking lol , I cannot stress enough how much of a mess the parking is at Fullerton College , and How many people have a war for parking spots and have rear ended other many times especially the parking structure by the newer building close to campus safety , I do feel that Fullerton College really needs to strongly empathize on the whole parking situation the school or the district in charge As well I disagreed when they built the new building next to softball fields , since again Parking is the biggest concern and problems at Fullerton College , and literally that new building just eliminated parking spots needed But overall it is a very well school, and honestly if I can re do and go back in time , to re do my best times at Fullerton college and live it again , I would in less than a heartbeat do it again , it is a blessing's opportunity having this place take a opportunity on someone that came from High School and never was a school person

The show Thoroughly Modern Millie was terrific, it was like something we could have seen at Segerstrom or Pantages, with such great acting and wonderful unique props, without a doubt led by a wonderful creative team. Ryan P. who handles their box office, couldn't have been more accommodating with our 30 wonderful seats. We enjoyed the show so much, and how easy it was to work with Ryan in organizing this terrific evening. Thank you so much Ryan and I look forward to working with you again on the next Fullerton College Theater Production! You are best.

My experience was lovely at Fullerton College. Had a great time. It's not perfect, it's website is a little confusing but it is actually better than CSUF's website so far so I really can't complain too much.

Many people don't know about Fullerton College's summer swim program for kids. It's one of the best and most affordable programs available in town. They offer "Mommy & Me" to "Competitive Technique" swim lessons. Their instructors are fun and caring. My kids learned to swim here after 2 summers and share fond memories. Unlike other places, there are no long enrollment lines and students get parking permits to attend lessons. If you have babies to teens, I highly recommend their summer swim program! Inquire with the college's swim director and get added to their mailing list. You will receive an application in the mail during spring for summer enrollment. All my friends' kids have gone through this program together too.

Worst Community College most students say they have been to. Admission is just a joke. Continuously losing transcripts electronically and officially. Advisors have no idea what classes to take for the students. When the students attend and transfer to the university the advisors there say those classes are not necessary. Instructors are just terrible when community colleges are supposed to be a foundation whereas some courses are ridiculously difficult for some students to pass. This institution always is in construction. So glad that I have transferred out and gone to another college to graduate with a breeze of better knowledge of the education system. FYI, I do not highly recommend this campus for students to waste their time and money. Students and parents do not go to this campus. Very disappointing campus! No wonder the actual transfer rate out from this school is 36% from California.

I've taken music clases on and off since 2011. Although this is a community college, the level of education is easily comparable to top notch music schools. I'm not exaggerating, because I've taken classes at prestigious 4-year institutions as well. This is not a place to just hang out and see if you can learn something about music; the majority of students here have been musicians since childhood. It's a very competitive, yet healthy environment. I can't single point professors because really EVERY SINGLE professor there is amazing. I highly recommend Fullerton College's Music department for serious music students.

Deeply disappointed in their convoluted application and registration process, unanswered emails, inability of staff to accurately answer questions, and micromanagement of enrollment procedures. As a parent, local teacher with an advanced degree, and participate in the AVID program at the school in which I teach, I do not recommend this school based solely on the application and registration process. By comparison, we also registered at Orange Coast College. The requirements and process are almost identical, but OCC makes it seamless, intuitive, answers emails and phone calls, seeks out the student, and is clear and concise in their information. The side-by-side comparison is of initial enrollment, registration, academic advisement, evaluation of transcripts and AP scores, financial aid, and ability to answer Covid protocol questions. The process does not need to be this difficult. Fullerton needs to get their house in order. As my daughter noted, "OCC seems to want me. It almost feels like I'm being recruited. Fullerton confuses me, and the counselors talked so fast during the group advisement, I didn't get half of it.)

First impressions of this college old school, but with a modernization, and wider selection of classes to choose from. Summer class when I first started in 2019, it was hard for me to socialize with people who I barely know, after five weeks it paid off significantly connected with everyone who I had before and after. It put a smile on my face that I feel like a family member, and it was a hard decision to choose which college to attend Fullerton or Saddleback. The cafeteria food is significantly better than Sac which they are still in construction, and courses are limited.

The safety patrol people who act like cops are a joke! I paid my ticket way in advance and I just received a delinquent notice. The funny thing is they only accept check so I actually have proof. I can't wait til these idiot send another notice so I can keep mailing my receipt of payment. These people have no since of compassion! I don't even attend this school, my child is enrolled in club volleyball and I happened to park the in correct way. After explaining to them it was an honest mistake they could careless and still gave me a ticket. You know what's funny about these kind of people is that they literally don't give a hoot who they screw for money. I bet if their friend or relative made a mistake they would let them slide once. But nope not me, first time there and explaining to them you can't even see the dumb sign because it's so dark out. Now I am getting delinquent notices!? This place is a joke, no wonder they aren't cops they are just safety guys In a golf cart with their little flash light going car to car checking if they have a ticket get a real job !!!!!

This school doesn't support Asian students. Jobs on campus are not offered to Asian students even with Work Study. Job Opportunities are not openly posted and only Hispanics are being hired. Hispanics make up half of the students and yet they are predominantly the face of the employees on campus. All of the Financial Aid technicians and Admission assistants are Hispanics. In addition, many services are catered to Hispanics and the Asian students are being ignored and passed over. Discriminating against any race and giving any race an advantage are racism. Plain and simple.

Shitty severs and networks determine if you'll be able to get a class or not. Counselors do not care about your education nor do they share similar outlooks on your educational future; each counselor I saw gave me a different educational plan that were vastly different than each other and if I were to follow them I would be taking conflicting or useless classes. I am very disappointed with the bureaucracy at FJC and feel as though management does nothing to solve these issues. Professors are great, administration is basically useless.

So a LOT has changed since I first started in 2014. All for the better. More clubs, more free events, more help programs, more classes, more perks! Honestly I had a great 3 years here, after I needed the first semester to learn the ropes. Most of the professors are great! On-campus jobs are abundant if you look hard enough and really are better than any minimum wage job out there. Parking still sucks. Athletics are doing great overall. Lots of school spirit now, it's great! I miss it to be honest! #ClassOf2017

This place is great. I've attended two community colleges. Mt. Sac and Fullerton. Fullerton is by far a better school. The administrative people are friendly, helpful and give out lots of information. The campus is a beautiful. Most of the labs are well equipped. There are plenty of places to study on campus. The library is nice but there's also the dining hall and the science building has its own study area. In my opinion there's only two issues here. First is the professor are hit or miss. Most of the professors I've had have been great. They obviously love teaching. They do what's needed to help students. Some were even willing to come in early to office hours to help students out. However, I've had a few who were downright awful. Didn't want to help students, lectures were only 30 minutes long in a 2 hour class. Some showed up 10-13 minutes late every time. The second is that counselors will try and convince you to take every lower division class at fullerton. I'm sure they're just trying to save you money but it's kind of annoying when they make it sound as if you can't transfer until every single course is finished. Do your own research and learn what's required to transfer otherwise you might be here a while. A couple small issues is campus security seems no where to be found after 1pm. This gets even more apparent later in the semester. There's events and high school games on campus so some days parking can be way worse than normal even if it's late in the day and because security is no where to be found, lots of people park without day passes. Yeah this place has its faults but it's still a great school. A lot of bright students here and professors who will challenge you to be a better student.

I transferred to USC from Fullerton College. My community college experience was amazing. I know I may have complained a lot while I was there, but the honor teachers are really dedicated to helping you succeed. The transfer center really wants to make sure that you get to your dream school. They offer tons of workshops and are willing to help you with your statements and essays. The counselors were also there to guide you. I do have to say that a lot of getting your requirements really falls on you. I went to two community colleges - Cypress + Fullerton to finish in two years.

College is such a fun experience and this campus sets a high standard. The campus is super clean and the people here are amazing. There is not one mean soul out here and if you get lost, just ask and you will definitely find a helpful person to point you into the right direction. I know you might be wondering why am I talking about this campus but I've been around the block on going to college many times. I have went Santa Monica Community College, Rio Hondo Community College and I even enrolled at Pasadena Community College and Cal State LA. Out of all I would say this has the most cutest look! Well what do I mean by cute...the buildings are nice plus new, the library has great large desks to study in or even small one person desks too and also the cafeteria has some good food and not that pricey. The floor is really clean and it seems like this place is in tip top shape in handling a lot of students. A lot, a lot of grass for a possible picnic? Maybe one day but right now it is time to study. Parking lot is also on flat ground unlike many of the other ones where you either have to take a shuttle, walk up really steep hills or can't even park on the street without a permit!! Fullerton College is the best place and also it is located near Downtown Fullerton where you can find other things to do on your "free time". ;)

This review is only for the campus and gym. It seems well kept up in a nice area not too far from Cal State Fullerton. There are lots of classroom buildings, a gym, volleyball area, swimming pool, and even dance studio. I was surprised at the small gym and cramped bleachers for a jc. But what they hey...it served its purpose.

You can't ask for more from a college. Great professors, students, and staffs. I got my AA and transferred to CSUF within 2years. Every course I took was easy, fun, and/or meaningful. When you need help, you can always go to the tutoring center, and the tutors are great. The cost of an AA degree is dirt cheap, I swear with financial aid I made money from going to FJC. By the way students are really friendly too.

Do you need a translator when you eat Mexican Food? Come to the Fullerton College Math Lab where students practice for hours to become proficient in language. Fullerton college is known for lab hours whether is mathematics or language. The professors and staff are always friendly. You can always find parking without walking miles to your class compared to other colleges. They have a nice Bistro with a new york style pizza I really dig, salads, American/Italian/Mexican/etc, drinks galore, snacks, desert and they take cash, debit or credit at the register. Even I need some help with my Spanish at times and German.

I took one class here during the summer, it was Family and Marriage with Prof. Angie Andrus, she was so funny, which makes the class easier. The class was full and the total was almost a hundred. I didn't like the parking in this College. Too crazy. The buildings are too scattered, unlike in Cypress College, you can circle the drive way and da-da, you can see all the departments you want to go, with complete visible signs on them. The streets near this college are super busy as well. So plan ahead and make sure not to get caught during the busy hours so as not to be late for your class. All other information about this college can be found on their website, for professors ratings, you can check ratemyprofessor, though they seems to be inaccurate. Per Barack, there should be no child left behind, so go to school, go to college, get your associate, get your bachelor, master, etcetera etcetera, Fullerton College is a great college to start.

I had a good experience at this school about a year ago and went to Santa Ana after due to moving. First year back and I am not really a fan of this campus, perhaps my professor is the one to ruin it for me. Either she has no time because they over book them with classes, which I blame the faculty or she really is a horrible professor (maybe both). Bad experience for a school I had big standards for. She apparently has time for nothing and class is spent more playing high school games. You may be able to weed out the bad professors, but they may not even have the time to even give the extra credit promised or set up canvas until halfway through the semester.

All I have to say is F the damn "parking police". Y'all take your job way too damn seriously...and have no heart. I was in an accident, was in a rental vehicle for ONE NIGHT CLASS, THE LAST DAY OF THE SEMESTER and because of all the shit going on at the time, I forgot to move my parking pass from my car to the rental vehicle. I was parked for ONE HOUR (to take my final) and got a ticket. I filled out an appeal form explaining everything...with proof I purchased a parking pass, proof of my accident, and proof I was in a rental vehicle (obviously a special situation, not just being a careless student)...and they still denied it. When I called to pursue it further, a lady officer (with a condescending, bitchy tone I might add) told me I'd have to pursue it further off campus and if I didn't win I'd have to pay for my ticket AND for the meeting with whom ever they wanted me to speak to off campus. So F-ing robotic in my opinion. If I didn't have to pay online via credit card or via check through mail, I'd pay in pennies. ***UPDATE**** I had to pay a processing fee to pay my ticket... I had to pay...TO PAY MY TICKET. It just baffles me that the head of Student Safety wouldn't reassess the situation and have a little grace when reading my appeal form that said I had been in an accident, had a rental vehicle, forgot to move my sticker from my crashed car onto my rental vehicle and that I have proof of all of this. And all he mailed back to me was that I should have had a parking pass.... Be an effing human for crying out loud. The lot was empty since it was the end of the day of the last day of the semester....even IF I was being a careless student who just didn't purchase a parking pass (which I DID), why WOULDN'T you let this go when it's the last class of the day THE LAST DAY OF THE SEMESTER?

It's hard to rate a college but I'll try. Pros: Some but not all the professors are really, really good intelligent worldly people. If you do research, you can find decent professional people who you will learn something from. They have a lot of classes and they aren't difficult, so it's good prep before going for an undergrad degree if that is your goal. The campus is big. I have been going here for nearly 3 years and still there's a lot I discover everyday. Most classes are inexpensive. I've never spent more than 600 and they have BOGG. Cons: The campus is not safe. No joke, IT IS NOT SAFE. Don't be fooled by the location. Sexual assault is a common issue. People are not lying about the thugs roaming the parking structure on Lemon looking for victims. I can only assume the school has some negative karma or something attached to it as there is always drama. Christian cults, aggressive street preachers, panhandlers and scam artists looking for a sucker. I have experienced it all. Keep mace on you at all times and be vigilante at night. The bathrooms are dirty and many were built when the school was constructed nearly a century ago. Avoid the restrooms by Stinger's Café, which is covered in a fecal mist, the cafeteria bathroom (no toilet paper), and the toilets in the 1000 and 500 buildings. One semester, the whole 500 building had no working toilets. Seriously, I wanted to get a vaccine after using their restrooms. Administration is a joke. There's a clique in the upper management. I think the new President is trying to diversify and elevate the staff, to get rid of the cliquey behavior, but it's a deeply ingrained campus culture. You realize going up here you're either in or you're out. It's kind of like high school. Parking is a nightmare. The school gets tons of grants and private funds from donors and yet the parking situation has never been rectified. As of 2018 I believe students are no longer allowed to park in the neighborhoods adjacent as the homeowners rightfully demanded their streets back. People have literally been dropped from classes because it is impossible to find parking. I think it's a shame for how big and popular the school is. Neutral: The food is okay. They're getting better. Jamba Juice only stays open during the main quarter semesters and closes during the summer. I think the salad bar and the TexMex shop are the tastiest places on campus. Of course most of the students go for the greasy chicken fingers and doughy pizza at the Burger shack. Unless you like having cystic acne, don't eat there. I wish the school had more private places. I don't really like being bothered when I'm on campus. I hate sitting out on the benches along the quad and such because people think it's an invitation to start chatting and I just want to chill and read in peace for once. The library smells like an unwashed armpit. It's the nasty carpet they have upstairs. But they have tons of cool books I've discovered and I don't think students really utilize it as a resource for classes. There's some heavyweight stuff back there. The best thing about FullColl is the small pack/herd (?) of nanny goats and one billy goat by the baseball fields. They're cute. They lick and purr when you talk to them and really get a lot of attention with their antics. They're funny and brighten my day. Just make sure to not let them nibble your fingers (to prevent biting) and no treats! They're fat enough as it is.

I've never attended college here, although I have some cousins that did. I've been going hear at least twice a year for their plant sales. They have one of the best Tomato plant sales and their Spring and Fall Plant sales offer the best selection of plants at modest prices in all of Orange County compared to the more popular Green Scene at CSUF or UCI's arboretum plant sales. Fullerton College's specialty is California natives and drought tolerant plants, but they also have a good selection tropicals, sub-tropicals, and shade loving plants. Parking is really easy. The Tomato Sale is being held the weekend of March 9th. This way, an unexpected cold snap or severe cold weather like the hail we experienced last year won't kill them off. Parking is plentiful.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COLLEGE AT ALL. I was involved in a car accident, not just a cute bump from the back, ok? It was a goddamn life threatening accident where my car rear ended by a drunk driver &was flipped 3 times over the shoulder of a freeway and landed up side down. It was during the final exam and they wouldn't excuse my alibi and I failed my class. They finally approved my petition after 2 damn years. After clearing my records, I moved college to rio hondo and requested my transcript. Paid for it only to find out a year later that rio hondo never gotten it and I still need to clear out my prereqs!!! Also, staff that works in all of these colleges always has the attitude of a mortician. If you don't like your job, quit. Apply at a graveyard where you belong :)

Ive been attending FJC for 2 years now (4 semesters). I will say, I like this school much better then Mt Sac, 7-fold. Its not full of ghetto kids, and its less confusing of a campus. I am in the automotive repair program, but also take GE classes. From what I have experienced so far, the instructors are all pretty friendly and take their jobs seriously. I know some people have had their issues with certain professors, but in my 2 years I can say all mine have been awesome. The campus is pretty clean. I love that its a non-smoking campus. I despise smokers and their poor decision making (and alcoholics for that matter, not that it relates). Even though you might see a kid sneaking a smoke here or there, the school security/staff are pretty good at enforcing the rule. Parking can be a little rough sometimes, but I always ride my motorcycle to school so its never a problem for me since they have a couple designated "motorcycle parking only" locations. The cafeteria is legit. Pretty big for what it is, and they have a decent selection of entrees, snacks, and beverages. There is also a Jamba Juice which is always helpful on the hot SoCal days. There are tons of clubs to join, and a lot of school activities that keep students entertained. Over all, Fullerton maintains its good status as a popular JC to attend.

I tried to register for a summer english class. Their systems and user faces are all outdated. Expect to have open 20 tabs when trying to register online. Good luck getting ahold of a professor if waitlisted because they do not care whether or not you take the class. Even in this epidemic the student resource workers always seem irritated when you need help or call them. And if the professor doesn't have an email in the class info good luck trying to get ahold of them. All I needed was one english class and am very disappointed that there is so little information online or resources to help me. I got admitted very quickly but it seems they have made it so confusing that it is not worth your time of effort. Good luck

Pretty good community college. Most professors care about their students but will not spoon feed you. Parking will not be an issue if you arrive ahead of time yet if you don't, you will be most likely drive in circles around looking for a spot.

Great classes. Close from just about everywhere. Parking can be difficult at times. Best part is the affordability. Most books are available online.

Night class here. Parking can be brutal here. Summer is fine but fall n spring are horrible. The classes r so tiring specially since I am taking chem. Night time is creepy n scary here. I usually like walking with friends.

I've been going to this school for 2 years and I only have one more to go. Every department that I've experienced has been excellent and the faculty members are supportive of student success. I began as a physics major and the subject itself was difficult, but it wasn't the professors' faults. They always encouraged students to not drop and to push for a passing grade. I switched to a music major about 2 semesters ago and the program here is great. There are many schools that lack the applied music program that there

1 star? 2 Star? 3 star? Have they been to a four year university where you are just a number? Wait till they experience the whole college experience. At most 4 year universities, you are a number. Here at a community college like Fullerton College and Cypress College and all community colleges, you are not a number. My professors know me because I needed help. I utilized all the resources. I took several classes and made several friends along the way. Advocate for yourself and utilize all the resources the campus offers prior to transferring.
