The Cueva de Nerja is, without a doubt, a must-see natural wonder on the Costa del Sol. This spectacular cave system offers a truly awe-inspiring journey into the geological history of Andalusia. Fabulous caves, as soon as you enter you'll be mesmerised, next galleries even more beautiful. In Nerja there is a free parking 5 mins from the minitrain station. Travelling from Nerja to the caves by the mini train was quite fun, however on the way back we were left almost stranded due to rain and driver refused to leave. Overall a must see experience if you are in the area. Have some coins if you have luggage as you'll have to leave stuff in lockers (requires 1 euro coin) and there is no ATM.

Such an amazing place! The Nerja Caves are huge and so beautiful. The lights make everything look magical. It’s very clean, easy to walk around, and really well organized. A wonderful experience, totally worth visiting if you’re on the Costa del Sol!

A bit pricey, but it was genuinely awesome to look at prehistoric caves and hear about how life evolved there. Kids would love this place, especially the VR presentation. The museum is included in the ticket, but it is at Nerja city center, 4kms away. We weren't aware of this while booking, so just sharing.

The caves are excellent, and unlike anything I’ve ever visited before. The audio tour is great and very informative. However the caves get very busy which really make moving around fairly difficult. The caves are also quite expensive and for a family of 6 cost over $100. Despite this the caves are a really unique and beautiful experience that I do recommend.

The caves were much bigger than I had expected. You would expect it to be cooler in the caves but it is warm but more humid as you get to the deepest part. Very enjoyable visit along with the VR show! Check it out!

●Awesome! ●Reasonable admission. ●Ask about head set as it included in some admissions. ●We bought our tickets online the day before. ●It was not very busy on a weekday about 11 am. ●Lots of walking & steep, narrow stairs. If you find you want to quit your self guided tour, there is seating on the main floor. ●Not recommended for those who are over 200 lbs or using mobility aids such as a cane. ●There is no admittance for those who are using walkers, wheelchairs & this is discrimination. ●It would be incredible to have this attraction available for those who are physically challenged. A law ought to be put in place allowing everyone have access to public attractions. ● It's ridiculous that an elevator was not built at this place. If somebody broke their foot while inside the caves, how are they supposed to get out? ●It can get hot inside the caves. ●Staff stayed at the entrance & not in the caves. ●For safety some employees should be in the caves in my opinion.

Great place to visit. Audio guide is excellent. Make sure you bring your Bluetooth headphones for the audio guide because it's based on your cell phone. I do recommend getting tickets early if possible especially in the peak season because it can sell out. It's really nice and cool inside the caves and it's nice and hot outside. Don't forget to validate your parking and pay for it before you leave.
