Really affordable way to climb up the steep hills towards the highland park for the famous panoramic view. Tickets were purchased at the door and costs 1 manat for one-way journey. There's no strict schedule that I can tell, just rock up and wait for the next ride so if you're on a tight schedule you may be waiting awhile before the tram starts moving. You get some decent views from within the cabin but best part about this is not having to do the steep climb up the hill.

It was a nice experience on the funicular. , with operating hours from 10 am to 8 pm. It takes about 15 minutes to board the train. Tickets are sold once you enter, not before. The ride itself lasts 6 minutes, and each wagon can fit 30 people. It was a pleasant experience, and paying by card is possible.

It's meh. It's $1 to go up. But the wait times very. Could be 10 minutes, could be 45. Plenty of taxis if you are short on time. But the views at the top are great

Must try, the experience are amazing, riding on the peek which is only cost 1 Manat per trip. It’s easy to full and Always had long queues, but that’s totally understandable and fine. From sea level, it’s bring you directly to highland park near flame tower.

Shortest fun ride ❤️ but prices for everything is too high in Baku .. this short few mins ride was also quite expensive .. be aware of the local vendors outside the station selling water and juices they are scammers .. even on the streets while walking you will find too many scammers with monkeys or kids be careful ..

The Baku Funicular is a scenic and efficient way to ascend from the city’s seaside boulevard to Highland Park and Martyrs’ Lane. For just 1 AZN per ride, it offers panoramic views of Baku, the Caspian Sea, and the iconic Flame Towers. The ride is smooth and quick, making it a convenient option for visitors. Operating from Tuesday to Sunday, 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM and 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM, it’s a must-experience attraction in Baku.

Good attraction but they need to improve their ticket sales experience.Just one person to manage the ticket counter and gates which leads to long queues .They should start online ticket sales to reduce waiting times .Great views though once you finally make it into the funicular !

The place is good but the people working there are very rude and not professional !!!! They are not helpful and they don’t want to speak in English with Tourist. They have very bad manners and attitude! The visit is today 24/10/25 and all they didn’t open the doors before 10:40 AM although it’s says opened by 10 AM. All the 3 guys were very rude and with bed manners. They really distorted the experience!!
