Funiculi Funicula Massa Lubrense

This was our families first visit to Massa Lubrense, our first taste of an authentic Italian restaurant experience and Funiculi Funiculi did not disappoint. We ended up eating at this restaurant every day of our stay. We ordered something different every day and the food never disappointed, but best of all was the service. Luigi treated us all like family and made the trip even more memorable. Our dinners became the highlight not just for the food, but for the atmosphere and most of all the people. Everyone was fun, friendly, attentive, and most importantly added to our amazing experience. We cannot wait to visit again.

This restaurant offers an absolutely amazing view, perfect for soaking in the marina. The service was friendly and attentive, and the food was delicious with great quality. The charming Italian vibe made the whole experience feel authentic and relaxing. Prices were very reasonable for the location. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Sorrento, it’s a lovely spot to enjoy a memorable meal.

This is our second visit to Massa Lubrense and could not wait to eat at this restaurant. Had dinner here four times. The amazing food, the warm hospitality, the postcard view... all so amazing and over the top. The fish, the pasta, the salad, the mixed vegetables, the house wine, the pear ricotta dessert; everything was so wonderful and delicious. Best meal in this area! Great value too! I asked for fresh fish and they brought me 3 choices on a platter to view: Branzino, sea bream and Mediterranean snapper. All looked and smelled fresh. I asked for the sea bream grilled whole, and it was perfect! Crispy skin and juicy interior. The pizza looked great as well. Beautiful setting in the small port. I will come back if I get the chance.

What a beautiful meal. Fresh fish , flavours were gorgeous and the service was excellent. Price was average for the area but well worth what we paid. The view across the harbour was lovely too. Staff were friendly and welcoming.

I absolutely loved this place! It was my and my sister’s first time in Italy, and we stayed in the area. This was the first restaurant we ate at, and we had such a great experience… we even came back every day of our trip! Great staff and great food. It was such a welcoming environment. I would highly recommend it if you’re in the area! ✨

Fine food and fine service. The restaurant is located at the port with a beautiful panoramic view of napels bay. The food is reasonable priced and we'll tasting. If you park in the city center be aware of the strap way down.. you have to go up after dinner 😁
