Amazing and authentic pad Thai!! We got takeout and forgot to pick up the mango sticky rice, when we went back the owner had it hot and ready for us for pickup. Amazing food and even amazing customer service! Would definitely be back again !!

It used to be so good and authentic! Maybe they changed owner? The food now is bland and disappointing with basic choices on the menu. First picture is from today and 2nd 3rd picture from 2023 … you can see the difference in quality

Arrived here at night right before closing time. Some incredibly delicious food with sweet and subtle flavors juicy texture. Menu(15€ for entrée/plat or dessert/plat) Menu(18€ for all three) Entree: Satay 🍖 Roasted juicy chicken thigh brochette that melts in your mouth with some sort of peanut mixture on top. 10/10 Entree: salade de bœuf 🥗 Fresh sweet and sour crunchy salad mixed with cooked minced beef. 8/10 Plats: Signature dish Moo Pork slices marinated in a sweet complex sauce cooked slowly for 3hrs. Intense in flavor served with salad and normal rice on the side. (May choose either normal rice or sticky rice). In my opinion flavor too intense so 8.7/10 Plats: Curry jaune(chose chicken) 🍛 Not too spicy, curry had a mild complex flavor going very very well with normal rice. Good harmony. 10/10 Dessert: Flan Thai 🍮 Different from what you expect as a pudding. Has some slices sweet nuts inside and mild sweet nutty eggy flavor. 7.5/10 The waitress was super kind and warm with a cozy night breezy well decorated environment. Overall experience: 10/10 definitely coming back!!

Hole in the wall Street thai food in a lively pedestrian street. Seating outside only. No toilets. The vibe is cool. Food is good but price is Def not "street" food price but I know this is paris. My pad thai was full of chicken, though a little on the sweet side and almost mushy noodles side. I added more fish sauce myself. Service was good. Wine at €4 can't complain. Menu's limited but I think this is a good thing if they can focus on making it taste great.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Funky Bā, a delightful Thai restaurant tucked away in the heart of Paris. From the moment we stepped in, we were greeted with warm smiles and an inviting atmosphere that instantly made us feel at home. The highlight of our experience at Funky Bā was undoubtedly the exceptional food. Every dish we ordered was bursting with authentic Thai flavors, prepared with care and expertise. The menu offered a wide range of options, from aromatic curries to fragrant stir-fries, each dish beautifully presented and incredibly delicious. The chefs truly showcased their culinary skills, leaving us completely satisfied and craving for more. One aspect that pleasantly surprised us was the reasonable pricing at Funky Bā. Considering the quality and taste of the food, we found the prices to be quite affordable, making it an excellent choice for both locals and tourists looking for a satisfying meal without breaking the bank. The street atmosphere at Funky Bā was simply lovely. We chose to dine outside, and the lively street added to the overall charm of the experience. The quaint setting, adorned with twinkling lights and vibrant colors, created a cozy ambiance that enhanced our enjoyment of the meal. It truly felt like a hidden gem in the bustling city of Paris. Although Funky Bā doesn't offer indoor seating, we didn't mind at all. The open-air arrangement added to the vibrant atmosphere, allowing us to soak up the energy of the surrounding area while savoring our delectable dishes. The icing on the cake was the exceptional hospitality displayed by the owner. During our visit, unexpected rain poured down, but the owner, without even being prompted, graciously offered us a generous 10% discount on our meal. It was a thoughtful gesture that demonstrated the owner's genuine care and concern for the customers. This act of kindness made our dining experience even more memorable and left a lasting impression on us. In summary, Funky Bā is an amazing Thai restaurant in Paris that offers exceptional food, reasonable prices, and a charming street atmosphere. The lack of indoor seating is not a drawback but rather an opportunity to enjoy the vibrant energy of the surroundings. Above all, the owner's dedication to customer satisfaction is truly commendable. I highly recommend visiting Funky Bā for an unforgettable dining experience that combines the flavors of Thailand with the allure of Paris. Just a small side note: the food quality could be better as the chicken was not so good the second time when I went there

My Favorite Thai restaurant in Paris 🥗 I have lived in Bangkok for six years and I am really happy to find this authentic Thai restaurant in the City of Light (Paris). Their kitchen staff are pure Thais. In fact, the owners (I am not sure though) or the people who entertained us could speak Thai and had lived in Bangkok. Upon tasting their Khao Pad, Yam Nua, Mango Sticky Rice, Tapioca, Som Tam and Pop Nems Thaï, I literally remembered my happy years in Bangkok. All their foods were tasty and delicious. Aside from that, it was presentable and clean. I would also love to add that their prices are not overpriced. The staff are also very friendly. They converse with you (their customers) unlike some Parisian restaurants. I call this Thai restaurant with a heart. So go and order your favorite Thai foods now at Funky Ba. I would definitely recommend Funky Ba if you want your hunger to be satisfied. I will visit again soon. Excellent dining experience. Merci.

Incredible spot! Don’t miss a stroll on Rue d’ Cadet (its lovely) and then a Mai Tai, papaya salad and an entree - but!!!! save room for the mango sticky rice - so amazing!! staff is friendly and the food was perfect! We are staying across the street for a week and I already know I’ll be back. There are only a few tables but I have my eye on the banana rum cake for next time.
