Fuoriporta House Bar & Suites

We stayed at Fuoriporta House for 2 nights and had an amazing experience! The location is perfect—just a short walk to the old city center in Bergamo, which made exploring super easy. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. We received a warm welcome and even a complimentary drink, which was a lovely touch. Breakfast was very good with plenty of healthy options, and the coffee was absolutely fantastic! The staff was friendly and helpful throughout our stay. We would definitely recommend Fuoriporta House to anyone visiting Bergamo and would happily stay again!

A Lovely hotel with fantastic staff. Situated next to the funicular and about a 5 minute stroll to the centre. We were greeted by a lovely helpful young lady, and shown to our room. The room had everything you would need and a mini bar containing snacks and drinks. The bathroom was surrounded by smoked glass, which was very see through when the light was on! This was the only thing I wasn't keen on, maybe it's just us but I dont need to see my husband on the loo! The room was nicely decorated and very peaceful at night. |Breakfast was very nice, mix of cakes, pastries etc... We were given a welcome drink and a mini charcuterie board of snacks. First impressions count and they really excelled. There was a lift to the rooms, and at the end they held onto our luggage until we were ready to leave. We are planning on returning next year, and will definitely stay at this hotel...the staff were amazing.

We had a lovely 3 nights here and Bergamo is well worth a visit .|We stayed in room 13 with small balcony overlooking the street . |Breakfast was good, rooms were clean , staff super friendly.|Lots of restaurants in easy walking distance and old town is 5 minutes stroll..

The house was cozy and staff friendly and flexible! Staff was always there to help you. Rooms were clean. Aircondition didnt work they way we wanted, but it didnt weaken the experience. Food was fresh and delicious. |When we arrived we had welcome drinks. Would recommend this accomodation.

Great location, allowing you to walk to the most important parts of Citta Alta, historical sites, excellent restaurants, and charming streets. A wonderful place for walks both during the day and after dusk. The hotel is small, boutique-style, but very sweet. The breakfast is delightful, consisting of pastries as well as local products—cured meats, cheeses. Fantastic coffee is served with breakfast. The water can be drunk directly from the tap, so there is no need to drink it from plastic - brawo. I would add that the hotel packed us a breakfast on its own initiative since we were leaving early in the morning. We didn’t ask for it, and it was a pleasant surprise. Well done! The rooms are very cozy with very comfortable beds. In the room, there are toiletries available, and the mini-fridge is stocked (at an additional charge). We had an attic room, which offered an extra attraction: a view of the sky through a skylight (opened with a remote control). The room was clean and tidied up daily. However, I would especially like to praise the staff. Everyone is very helpful and smiling. Special congratulations and thanks go to Maggie. Such people need to be appreciated—she is a treasure for this hotel. She is simply wonderful!!

We had a wonderful 2 weeks holiday at the Fuori Porta House Hotel, the staff are amazing, so friendly & helpful. A big thank you to Melissa & Agostina & all their lovely staff, Johan, Sofia, Raffaele & Davide, they all made our stay very special.|A beautiful small hotel, we stayed in a deluxe room ( 13 ) which was modern, very clean & spacious with air conditioning & a balcony overlooking the Sant'Alessandro gate. Breakfast was very good with plenty of choice, there is a nice terrace at the front which was great to have a relaxing drink after a day sightseeing.|Perfect location next to the Sant'Alessandro gate into the old walled Città Alta , a lovely 8 minute stroll to the Piazza Vecchia & only 1 minute to the bus stop to catch the number 1 bus which takes you to the lower town / train station & the airport.||thank you for a lovely holiday||Paul & Judith|Near Newcastle

The location could not have been any better, perfectly situated to catch no 1 or 1a bus to the train or bus station and airport just a few steps away under the arches. Quiet area with no disturbances at night and next door to a fabulous pizza restaurant/takeaway. All staff are very friendly and helpful with advice. The room was clean and furnished very well. Breakfast was adequate for our needs. The terrace at the front of the property was nice to relax with a drink after a day sightseeing, but not open every day we were there. Room 13 is on the front of the accommodation with a small balcony.

We have stayed at Fuori Porta House 3 times over the last few years and I understand that the owners have changed since our last visit which was evident by the hotel not being maintained as it had in the past and looking a little unloved. However the dream team Raffaele, Sofia and Davide looked after us very well and made our stay very enjoyable they are a credit to the hotel. Steve and Sallie
