Furama Chiang Mai

Spacious room with a nice view, but except those the room really needs to be fixed. The plug was not working, the hairdryer didn't work and I had to call 2 times until the staff brought the new one for me. They had only 1 pillow for each guest, a dirty balcony, dusty AC filter with a lot of spider webs when we arrived. The AC was not cold, felt just like using the normal fan. And there is a plug socket on the ceiling inside the shower room which is so unsafe. Except the room, the location was good, the staff service was great, and the lobby is clean and comfortable.

We stay 4 nights at this hotel on 15th floor. It’s old, but we love it. The room is spacious, the king (or queen) -size bed is comfortably firm, the water pressure is great filling large jacuzzi tub in a few minutes. It’s 5-6 minutes walk to One Nimmann area and Maya Department Store. And of course, the hotel staff are friendly and helpful. To us, it’s great value for money.

Furama Chiang Mai offers great value for money. The rooms are large and spacious, much bigger than expected for the price. While the hotel is clearly older and a bit dated, it’s clean and well-kept. The location is convenient — not far from the airport and city center.

It's ok. The building is old and solid. The room was rather dated but clean. The water is great, very hot with high pressure. Sadly the pool and roof were not open because of maintenance (since 8/05/25). we didn't take breakfast. The staff were a little perfunctory in manner, but capable enough when in spoken English.

Very nice hotel for a very decent price. Very clean, and rooms serviced daily. Extra amenities such as slippers and robes were nice additions. A couple different pools, but only one was open during the stay. Rooms are very large, with kitchen-like cabinets, but no dishes and cooking not allowed. Kettle provided and drinking water daily. Must re-connect to wifi several times a day, which is a bit annoying. And muaic playlist at the pool consists of about 4 songs that played on repeat all week, despite several requests to change it up a bit. There are a couple of lounges, one playing live music and NBA games!

Didn't use any amenities. Hotel in general looks/feels dated but overall room was clean and spacious. Family of 5 (2 adults with 3 kids between 2-8yo).

A little dated and tired in places, this Hotel is situated near the more modern areas of Chiang Mai. The staff are lovely and super friendly.|There is a roof top pool with great city views but work is being carried out the adjacent bar which can be quite noisy at times. Not close for the sights of the old town so a taxi or bus required to get there. Top floor bar and restuarant, nice to view the sunset and gym with additional pool, which was also closed.
