Furama Chiang Mai Hotel

I initially booked this hotel because it looked like a large four-star property. The room itself was very spacious, which was a positive point. However, the furniture and overall interior feel very outdated and old. The cleanliness also did not meet my expectations, which made the stay less comfortable. Unfortunately, considering the price, I don’t feel the experience was worth the money. I hope the hotel can improve its maintenance and cleanliness in the future.

Overall it was cheap and reasonably cheerful. We had a double bedroom suite which was huge but barely any furniture in it. Not a problem I guess but made it feel lacking in love. One of the bathrooms stunk of drains. Wi-Fi could only attach 4 devices at a time - family of 4 with 2 teenage children a problem. |The whole hotel looked unfinished. One pool was shut. The other on the roof although open was desolate and run down.|Breakfast was reasonable but tea/coffee cups so small we brought the mugs down from our room! |Staff were friendly but needs some money and love being given to it. Def seen better days.

The hotel is about a block away from where the shopping and restaurants are which was nice but the hotel is quite outdated. The bed was extremely hard and I could feel springs poking into our back. The room was spacious though. The balconies don’t have any privacy and have not been cleaned in a long time. Pool was okay but the rooftop has no bar, only 2 sun loungers and is clearly under renovation. Breakfast was again, just ok. You can have a much nicer breakfast at a restaurant for the same price.

Room. Spacious, clean Bathroom. Old Breakfast. Excellent Wall sockets for charging. Poor Wifi. Slow Balcony. Dirty TV. old. No netflix Location. Walking distance to shopping and restaurant. But inside soi Price. Excellent

We booked a deluxe twin. We got all special request: quiet, high level, with beautiful view (Maya Mall and the mountain), with jacuzzi, updated room. We were quite happy with the room as it smells fresh, really huge with 2 single beds, desk and a chair, 2 lounge seats. However, when we try to use the room safe, it was complicated and needed assistance. The room phone was not working, thus we needed to come down to get help. We requested to move to another room. We eventually went back to the first room as the room we moved to was not smelling fresh. The fridge was not working, it was fixed but it was already 5:30pm. We were looking forward to a relaxing stay but it started complicated. The access to 5th floor pool was locked. The pool in the 18th floor seems good but we had to check out already.The jacuzzi was obviously not been used for a while. It sprouted dirt.

I stayed here for 4 nights, and overall the experience was a bit disappointing. The breakfast was repetitive and lacked variety, which made mornings feel boring. Service was average—I would rate it a 4 out of 5. The room wasn’t very tidy, and the wooden décor in the Lanna style of Northern Thailand felt outdated compared to modern trends. The car park was also quite narrow, making access to the hotel inconvenient. On the positive side, the location is excellent. It’s close to downtown and within easy reach of shopping areas like Nimman Market, which was very convenient.

I appreciate the size of the rooms, hotel facilities and location but man this place is dirty…. Found bunch of hair on the bathroom floor, mold in shower, even the shower cap from previous guest was still hanging on a hook in the bathroom 🙄bathtub was really dirty as well so even though you’d think “oh how nice with a bubble bath” it just feels too unhygienic for me to use. Also asking for more toilet paper, expect to have to wait more than 2 hours for it despite calling front desk several times, come on people it’s not that hard to send someone with something as simple as toilet paper 😂 I have a feeling the hotel is being cheap and not hiring enough cleaners and therefor putting too much pressure on the few workers they have

The hotel is old, not just the decoration is vintage, but the vibe, the walls, and the floor all look old.The room itself is spacious and has enough amenities (though it did not have a small towel for hair).The cleanliness is not good. There were water stains on the shower glass and the faucet (or tap). The bathtub was dirty, and stains covered it. While the room is mostly quiet, you can hear the next room's TV and talking.
