We stayed here for 3 days last week.
The location was great, just walking distance to Maya Mall. Our tour guide recommended this hotel, so we decided to book it.
We got a Superior Room with one king bed—it was huge, with wooden furniture that gave off 1980s vibes haha! The only issue was that the aircon wasn’t cooling properly, only the fan worked. We didn’t ask to change rooms since we were already tired from our 5-day tour in Chiang Mai and Chiang Rai.
On our first night, I honestly felt a bit uneasy and even thought about cancelling the rest of our stay because our floor was so quiet and spacious—it almost felt like being in an old Japanese movie haha! But I decided to give it a try and just observe. In the end, I slept really well for all three nights! It was just me overthinking and misjudging the place 😅
I think the management should consider renovating the hotel, as it’s a bit old and I noticed some wooden corners already damaged by termites. The photos online look nicer compared to the actual.
Breakfast wasn’t “wow,” but it was good enough to start the day.
Overall, it was an okay experience — the staff were polite and helpful, the bed was comfortable, and the rate was affordable.
