The place is one of the main attractions of the island, with a route accessible to the public and without the need for accompaniment. It is recommended to do it during the day. There is a parking lot available at the beginning of the route, facilitating access

Gorgeous experience, very well maintained area with east parking. The path was pretty muddy in some spots but I managed the whole route in slides. Not a very long or strenuous walk but lots of uneven ground.

Free to enter. Interesting spot - it was a bit in the clouds when we arrived but the venting was still visible and smell-able. Short circular route with stairs/pathway of irregular rises so might be challenging for older folk. The vents are at the beginning of the trail and the remainder of trail just highlights vegetation and ecosystem.

The 2nd stop of our volcano day tours. The sulfuric vents are an important part of the volcano experience and should not be missed because of the other 2 show stoppers! (Walking INSIDE a Lava tube and a volcano!) This is definitely a nice walk OUTSIDE through some wonderful local flora and fauna as you approach the sulfuric vents. The views are amazing... again! We observed some Holly bushes that have evolved through time on this island of no predators, and so the leaves have lost 4 of their 5 pointy tips! Amazing in itself to see something like this. It is quite beautiful here as you stroll the park! Sulfur or not...
