This is a hotel in an old castle. It's very cool. The room was sufficiently modern, with good heat and good hot water with a shower. The wi-fi was solid. The castle itself was mostly closed to tourism, but I was able to walk around the castle grounds, both inside and outside the walls, and explore a bit.
The room was not perfect. The bed was comfy enough, but it did creak a lot. It did not have AC, but I stayed in the winter. Maybe this means I should take away a star, but it exceeded my expectations for comfort. If you want more luxuries, I suggest you don't stay in a ~900 year old castle.
The proprietor was a great host. Upon check-in, she asked what time I wanted breakfast (there were not many guests, due to the season). The next morning, I went down to find a great spread of meat, cheese, bread, and juice waiting for me.
I also had a billing mix-up (I booked on booking.com and got charged both there and at checkout by mistake) and they were quick to respond and correct it.
