My boyfriend and I visited this art gallery and it was very nice, we got to see how the artists put the canvas together and we got to meet one of the artists as well, we took pictures in the gallery and we got to see where the artists work! This is definitely must do for the next time we visit Little Havana! For more reviews on things to do in Miami head over to my YouTube channel @ Cookie B Living

This is an interesting place to buy local art and crafts. It is located at the heart of Calle 8’s Little Havana, which makes the visit more pleasurable (there are coffee shops nearby!). The most fascinating thing of this place is that it offers a unique opportunity to meet the artists and engage in rich conversations with them about their work. The artworks are affordable in general, very authentic and representative from local Miami culture.

Very authentic art and the people working there are so friendly. It’s sad we were leaving the next day for NJ. Sorry we couldn’t meet at Bar Nancy for live music. Hopefully next time. I highly recommend making it a stop if you’re in little Havana Calle Ocho.

Great place to see art and enjoy a cup of Cuban coffee. Fantastic chocolate.

Love visiting this place with many unique merchants. Especially Vivente Vandles. Sylvia is the mastermind behind these candles that are free of harsh chemicals made of soy and other natural oils. The hot wax even serves as skin moisturizer. Brilliant! Love this incubator of innovative ideas. And dog friendly!

We stopped in for a break from heat and took in the beautiful art as well. We spoke with many of the very friendly artists and learned some of the history behind their work as well. There was not a bathroom here that we saw. Just a simple gift shop and clothes area up front. The gallery wrapped all around like a maze from from to back of shop. So much to see and take in! All artists have the equal opportunity to display their work and rent a wall space; but not all art is the same level of expertise or style. Something for everyone to enjoy. It was not all canvases or prints either. Small trinkets and coffee mugs. Magnets and hand made cards. Many options for presents or souvenirs. May not be the best space for small children as the art work It displayed low on walls and even propped against walls in some areas. Also narrow halls may not be best for strollers or wheelchairs. It is all one floor though for folks who would struggle with stairs.

Yelp
A very pleasant store in the heart of lil Havana. They offer plenty of art pieces. They offer sections with separate galleries for different artists. Definitely worthy of a look.

Yelp
The Futurama 1637 Art Building was established in 2011 with the mission to advance the arts in Little Havana. Local artists can rent a space to create and showcase their art and sell it. The building has room for 12 artists studios and 5 offices. They hold monthly events that include outreach programs, live music, and business networking. I popped in during a recent visit to Little Haiti to do a little Mother's Day shopping. Parking is somewhat difficult to come by but I ended up finding a spot on the street several blocks away. I had a nice walk down Calle 8 and it was worth the extra effort to get here. On the day I visited only the first floor of Futurama was open but there was still a lot to look at. They have something for every budget from costume jewelry for a few dollars to art work that costs several hundred dollars. I saw tropical clothing, dominoes, mugs, crystals, magnets, and even Cuban coffee. I really loved Inna Malostovker Photographer. Her artistic perspective of nature is beautiful. Art fans and those who love artisan crafts should add Futurama to their list of places to shop in Little Havana.

Yelp
This is a fun place to visit and maybe make a purchase. A number of local artists have set up shop, some of them work in the spaces. So if you want to bring home artwork, you might find something that suits your taste as well as souvenir items. It's nice to be able to go in and chat with the artists, get to know them and their work. I was draw to a number of pieces by Annie M.

Yelp
I have noticed that most stores in Little Havana have a "gallito." I recently got my office so having a gallito is a must. I looked for it for weeks in almost every store in Little Havana. I did find a few ones, but they weren't to my taste. My son loves art, so he kept telling me to visit this place every time we walked in front of it. I had already been there once to check out the Guayaberas, but this time I walked in to look around. After weeks of looking for a "gallito" for my office, I found it here. I could buy soo much stuff from here, but I'm on a budget. The art on display is beautiful--a lot to choose from, from art to small jewelry and even shirts. The prices are also great.

Yelp
Futurama 1637 in Little Havana's Calle Ocho, created a platform for ALL Arts to coexist and intermingle in a far out way. Artists are provided studio space to create their show-stopping pieces and their showrooms are just as magical. It's home to more than a handful of Artists who are knee-deep in Little Havana culture. We didn't get the full scope of their 2nd floor, but 1st floor though, has several Art studios, Guayaba Y Chocolate has space there- as well as a small section by the entrance with items for purchasing, a custom clothing shop- plus so many other rooms and vendors I didn't get to visit. 1637 is a real happy place overflowing with positive energy, sharing and creativity. If you love Art, make sure you save this place. This is in Little Havana. This is Futurama 1637.

Yelp
I have been coming to this Art Gallery for years now, and I totally recommend it. I love being able to walk into the different rooms inside and find art directly from the artist. Most of the time the artist is around, too, and I am able to chat with them about their work. Futurama has so much soul. Through its art -- which includes paintings, sculptures, photography, and even clothes -- the soul and essence of Miami is captured, all while placing an emphasis on the magic of Little Havana and its Cuban influence. I totally recommend you visit if you're in the area!

Yelp
Be careful if you do business with them. I sold them one of my art pieces and they did not pay me. Instead their excuse was an artist who did some artwork on my piece owed them money so they decided to take the money from me instead of from the artist I hired. Attached is a photo of the art piece they stole from me.

Yelp
Located in the middle of little Havana, such a nice place!! As you enter, on your left side there's a corner with a café shop where they sell food like cake and sandwiches, as well as coffee. But what I liked the most was their amazing selection of fine chocolates from Miami and Venezuela. Then I kept walking around the place and noticed how it was divided in little stores where different artists from all over have their art pieces for sale. Before I left I enjoyed so much the delightful aroma of the candles the lady from Vivente candles. I loved it. Definitely a place to go back for more local art. Me encantó. Definitivamente es un lugar para volver a buscar más arte local.

Yelp
Such a cool spot to visit while in Little Havana!! A gallery and art studio in one. Much of the art is rather expensive (at least to someone who doesn't buy original art, only prints and such) but it's worth a visit.

Yelp
This is a beautiful store and I come here every time I visit Miami . I just stopped by this evening and the woman was so rude to me . I felt like I was bothering her . No greeting , please or thank you and such a sour look on her face . I will not return after this experience .

Yelp
This is a beautiful set up for artists to display their work. My boyfriend and I stopped in to check it out and I really enjoyed the layout and the pop of all the colors with the clean white background of the walls. There was a good amount of variety too: painting, clothing, photography etc. I love that there is this space for people to appreciate local art.

Yelp
The artwork and other pieces were beautiful...so this review is a reflection on the staff. I asked for a price on an African statue because one wasn't listed on the bottom of the item and without a beat the young woman told me how much the item was. Great, right? Well I did some other browsing and I saw these beautiful gold sparkle rings, right up my alley and I definitely wanted to buy one. The young woman was by the clothing area and I asked her what the price was for the rings on the display (because again they were not listed on the item). She asked me which rings, I told her it was the gold sparkle rings on the display underneath the white mirror by the register. With a very rude and snarky attitude (which was completely unexpected and unprofessional) she replied "well I need to see them to know how much they are" I said ok, can you come over here and look and help me? (We were literally 4 ft from the display) I explained there were not prices on everything, she kind of just looked at me and then walked over to the display and told me how much each individual ring was on the display, but she didn't stop there, every item I looked at afterwards she told me the cost, not in a helpful manner but more so that she was annoyed I asked for the pricing so she had to "watch" for each item I looked at...at that point, I just asked her if she was having a bad day and she looked at me and said no...and things were left there and I left... poor customer service (and I worked in customer service for over 10 years), some people take their frustration out on others because they don't process whatever issue they have going on well, some just don't want to be bothered and/or are lazy...I dont know what the issue was because I dont know the young woman so I didn't take it personal and that's why I asked if she had a bad day...but when you are at your place of employment you have to put all that to the side to handle business...because of the poor service I decided to spend my money elsewhere. Hopefully she is in a better mood today and will pleasantly help the next customer.
