My wife and I stopped by your shop last week while on vacation, and I have to say, it was by far the best shop we visited on our entire trip. We purchased some stickers, an awesome top hat man salt and pepper shaker, and a couple of amazing vintage pencil sharpeners. My wife was so excited to display them all in our cabinet once we got home! They aesthetically fit perfectly with all the other quirky things that we love. I wanted to thank you for being so kind to us while we were in your shop, and for taking such care in packaging our purchases (everything made it back to the U.S. safely in our luggage). If you love vintage, character-filled pieces and genuinely good people, this is definitely a must-visit. Thank you again for your kindness and for sharing such wonderful pieces of art with the world—and with us. – Kevin C.

I recently had the pleasure of attending the 101 embroidery workshop led by the talented artist, Eloïse. The experience was truly inspiring and well-organized from start to finish. The initial presentation was clear and motivating, and it was a real treat to learn directly from a professional. The small group size was perfect for learning at our own pace, and the entire atmosphere was so cool it felt like a mini-getaway from Amsterdam. I particularly appreciated the focus on creative freedom and letting go of perfectionism. The provided booklet and other goodies were a lovely bonus! Thank you so much!!

I took the beginners Embrodery workshop last Sunday. The workshop was very enjoyable and didactic. Eloïse explains things very clearly and can give individual attention, which means you learn quickly and without frustrations. The space is delightful and you can feel the passion and love Eloise puts into everything she does.

While visiting Amsterdam from Montreal, I bumped into this new “80’s vibe” brand new shop. They were serving bubbly and people were coming in and out like you do when you go to a great party. The shop is a feast to the eyes, crafted like a piece of art. Actually, the whole shop is curated and presented like a quirky chic art exhibit. An array of colourful and beautiful crafted, vintage and freshly -made objects from as faraway as Japan and Chile will keep you entertained while enjoying the music. The music is great! There’s a funky music console with records and cassettes, and you are invited to play them with headsets. Just like I used to do in the 80’s on a Saturday afternoon. The shop owners are adorable, super well dress and host this fun artsy party experience. I loved seeing things made in unusual countries. Independent designers plus highly curated vintage garments keep you trying on things you’d never wear, but now you want to! The changing rooms are large and bright. Loved the mirror!! It was nice to experience a Saturday gathering with people I’d never have the chance to meet as a tourist in Amsterdam. A must go place while in Amsterdam? Why? Because the locals love it!

Thank you so much for the lovely workshop! I had a great time and learned so much! I'm really excited to learn more and I'm thinking of ways to combine it with my jewelry making :)

What a FANTASTIC store! I’ve spent several years living and traveling through Japan and have never come across a shop so attuned to this side of beauty (ie not minimalism) that you find throughout Japan’s country side. A treasure trove of heart felt objects and impeccable clothing (hard to find mint condition Jean Charles de Castlebajac sweaters, lesser known emerging independent and vintage Japanese designers…the list goes on) all labeled with Eloise’s personal bio’s and thoughts on the brands. Wonderful selection of ceramics and objects personally sourced by the owners. Not to mention they play great music that makes you want to stay and hang out. This is a really special place. I was very touched to visit and will be back!

Inner world studio is surrounded by art in every detail. Eloise teaches every stitch with so much joy and kindness. It was a lot of fun with her and the group. A place with a beautiful atmosphere and tons of inspiration.
