While visiting Amsterdam from Montreal, I bumped into this new “80’s vibe” brand new shop. They were serving bubbly and people were coming in and out like you do when you go to a great party. The shop is a feast to the eyes, crafted like a piece of art. Actually, the whole shop is curated and presented like a quirky chic art exhibit. An array of colourful and beautiful crafted, vintage and freshly -made objects from as faraway as Japan and Chile will keep you entertained while enjoying the music. The music is great! There’s a funky music console with records and cassettes, and you are invited to play them with headsets. Just like I used to do in the 80’s on a Saturday afternoon.
The shop owners are adorable, super well dress and host this fun artsy party experience.
I loved seeing things made in unusual countries. Independent designers plus highly curated vintage garments keep you trying on things you’d never wear, but now you want to! The changing rooms are large and bright. Loved the mirror!! It was nice to experience a Saturday gathering with people I’d never have the chance to meet as a tourist in Amsterdam. A must go place while in Amsterdam? Why? Because the locals love it!
