Very tasty Japanese Pancakes. Fluffy and made to order. So good. Friendly staff who take great care in making your order just right. Free WiFi. Clean dining area. No credit card surcharge. Can be a wait for pancakes depending on the amount of orders. Expensive for most items especially the slices of cake.

They had a variety of pancake options, and I chose the simplest one, Nutella banana. Unfortunately, I was not impressed with the taste. I could smell the egg while eating, and the pancake felt slightly raw, as if it wasn’t fully cooked. The portion size was also too small for the price. On top of that, the banana and strawberry topping consisted of only about four small pieces. Don’t fall for the display pictures, that’s not how they actually serve the food. There were only two employees handling both cooking and customer service, and they seemed extremely busy, which resulted in little attention to customers. Overall, my experience was totally disappointing.

It seems this place was bought and run new owners who are of south Asian descent as the quality and menu has severely come down. Firstly the advertised prices on their menu is different than what is scanning. A salted caramel latte is advertised as $4.99 but scans at $5.95. Secondly, they have no non dairy milk options. It’s 2025, and I have not yet been to a cafe with no non dairy milk options. Paid $25 for pancakes and a drink. The pancakes seemed undercooked. We’ve had Japanese pancakes but the inside was completely runny. Also, Why does it take 25 mins for pancakes? Only one girl working. Poor service, Karak chai is pre packaged chai packets you can buy at a south Asian grocery store and mix with water, don’t be fooled. Asians don’t drink karak chai and this is not on their menu at other locations. She then calls you instead of brining the pancakes, it’s the simple things but ruins the experience. Salted caramel latte clearly shows they have caramel syrup but just look at the picture we got. There was also a family of five who ordered food and the girl removed the extra chair from them saying only four people could sit at a table and their child was standing!!!! Unbelievable. This experience was on November 21, 2025. This girl should not be working in customer service. Would not recommend. Avoid at all costs

After much deliberation, we finally made it to Fuwa Fuwa at Square One — and wow, it exceeded expectations! We ordered the Dubai Chocolate Pancakes, and you can really taste the difference with their freshly made batter (it takes about 20 minutes, but it’s absolutely worth the wait). These signature jiggly pancakes are on another level — unbelievably fluffy, light, and perfectly cooked. I’ve had pancakes at plenty of places, but nothing comes close to Fuwa Fuwa’s texture and melt-in-your-mouth softness. The kunafa and pistachio syrup added a unique, indulgent twist that elevated the dish even further. A must-visit spot for anyone who loves desserts or wants to experience pancakes like never before.

We have had the opportunity to experience Japanese Soufflé pancakes in Japan. We recently found this Dessert Cafe here in Mississauga and it is quite good. The pancakes were cooked very well; combined a the cream it was a light fluffy taste. Satisfies the craving for Japanese soufflé pancakes. The services was also quite good; food does take time to cook and the employees was clear to communicate that. One suggestion would be to increase the amount of fruit that is provided on each order.

Fuwa Fuwa is an absolute dream for anyone with a sweet tooth! Their Japanese soufflé pancakes are a revelation – incredibly light, fluffy, and just melt in your mouth. The texture is unlike anything I've ever had before; it's like eating a cloud. I highly recommend the classic with a scoop of their soft-serve ice cream. The combination of warm pancakes and cold, creamy ice cream is pure bliss. Beyond the pancakes, their other desserts, like the strawberry shortcake, are also fantastic. The cakes are so moist and the cream is perfectly balanced, not overly sweet. The staff is always friendly and the cafe has a bright, cheerful atmosphere. It's the perfect spot for a delicious treat with friends or a quiet moment to yourself. Five stars without a doubt!

I’ve been going to Fuwa Fuwa for a long time (only 2nd time going to this location) and I’ve always enjoyed it. Today I was shocked at the lack of quality for what I got. I ordered the matcha tiramisu pancake and the matcha sauce was SOUR… I told the employee there that it was odd how sour it was and they said it’s normal for the matcha to taste sour… I’d understand if it was bitter since they probably use culinary grade matcha but that level of sourness I knew was just not right… unfortunately I had drizzled it all over the pancakes already and I tried to salvage it but it was too late and the whole thing just tasted off. Second, if you see all the other reviews here for the matcha tiramisu, you’d see decently sized strawberry slices around the pancake. What I got was maybe 3, at most, very thinly sliced strawberries… if you see one of them, it’s pretty much the very edge of the strawberry… I didn’t even bother taking a proper photo of the plate cause it looked so sad… Very disappointed and will definitely not be going back to this specific location :(

First time at here and let the cook/cashier know this. I didn’t know what to get and asked her about the menu all she pointed out was which pancakes came with syrup or not. No other information. I opted for the fuwa fuwa special and asked for it to be well done. It was made fresh and took over 10mins. At first bite I noticed the edge still was a bit under. I tried the middle and realized this was a very egg based pancake. I don’t eat eggs and they make me sick so I went up and asked her how it’s made and she said mainly egg white, some flour, sugar and lime juice. I told her I can not eat it and she said sorry and can offer me something else. I asked to have a store credit because there was nothing else she said she can’t, so I decided I’d have a piece of cheesecake. She then tried to charge me for it but I told her that she offered. She then called the manager spoke in her language and agreed to give me the cake. She used her gloved cooking hand to take out the cake and I took it back home and it was fridge burned and dried out. Terrible experience!
