Quality fish and chips to take away or eat in there’s a good selection of classic chip shop foods on the menu but for me the cod is a favourite perfectly cooked and coated in a crispy batter all served with a friendly smile it’s a real treat without breaking the bank. Went there to meet my aunt who is a regular customer. I'm not from the area, just visiting family. I have a local award winning fish & chips shop where I live which has received awards for their food. I was extremely impressed by the food here. I think it's better than my local. I had cod & chips and it was all perfectly cooked. The batter was light and deliciously crispy, not a hint of soggy doughey stodge. The chips were lovely. The table service was not the best, I think the person was new to it as some basic mistakes were made but they will improve over time. All in a great experience and I'd definitely go again when I'm next up there. I recommend it.

Good place to have good quality food served by friendly staff. Plenty of choice for vegetarians. If unsure, just ask the member of staff. Good value for money, free parking eat in or takeaway. If the vegetarian options were clearly marked on the board as more and more people are, then it would be 5 stars. Would recommend.

Arriving at the expansive car park and promptly securing a parking space marked an excellent beginning. Venturing into the chip shop proved to be a delightful experience, thanks to ample wheelchair access, spacious interiors, a designated dining area, and an impeccably clean cooking range and retail space. The staff were congenial and accommodating, further enhancing the visit, and the cuisine was exquisite. The menu, featuring fish and chips, battered prawns, halloumi fritters, and signature fish cakes, was thoroughly enjoyable. Its proximity to the coast also added to its appeal. In summary, this is a traditional chip shop that comes highly recommended. Nice food and a really friendly service by the staff however it felt a bit on the pricey side, particularly for the fish. Regular seemed a bit smaller than what I would expect. Fish isn’t as affordable as it used to be :(

My first visit here while visiting Southport I had a traditional fish and chips takeaway with the largest onions rings ever ever seen. Then on my second visit with the family we decide to dine in,at the immaculate restaurant. There was a considerable variety of dishes available to suit most taste and dietary requirements and a good children's menu with a drink & ice cream included. I decided to try the fish pie even though I don't like smoked fish but I was glad I did, as it was delicious, my partner tried the steak pie which he said" was the best he had tasted in a while!". Yes I agree with others on it being a little pricey but I wouldnt call the food here the your average chip shop standard and I like that it is locally sourced, so for me I am happy to pay that little more and know I am getting good quality food that's also supporting other local businesses. The staff are friendly and welcoming and there is plenty of free parking available and the restaurant is wheelchair accessible.

Nice place. I like the concept. You can choose takeaway or stay in in a pleasing restaurant with very friendly and kind service (offering homemade tartar sauce to go with the fish). You can get a beer or wine with your traditional and tasty meals. They even have the most fancy bill treats I've ever seen.

Some of the best fish and chips I've had, with that perfect mild and sweet curry sauce that all fish and chips should be drenched in. Sorry about the picture, I tried to get one that shows the white fluffiness of the cod. Really delicious, with efficient service. Is it expensive? Yes. But do you get banging traditional fish and chips? Yes. Will we be back? Yes.
