We recently visited FYSH at the Edition with friends to celebrate their recent work and life success, and it turned out to be a fantastic night from the moment we arrived. The space is absolutely stunning — a beautiful blend of green and minimalistic design with super high ceilings that give it an airy, open feel. It’s the kind of place that makes you feel both relaxed and impressed at the same time.
The service was exceptional, and we felt incredibly well taken care of throughout the evening. For appetizers, we shared the yellowfin tartare, swordfish empanada, and sardinas on toast. The tartare was beautifully made, fresh, and the twist on the cracker was an interesting touch! The sardinas on toast was also a standout, with a refreshing tartness from the fresh tomato passata that complemented the fish perfectly. The swordfish empanada, however, was the least impressive for me — a bit too spicy, and not as exciting as the other dishes.
For my main, I opted for the classic potato-scaled fish, which sat on a delicious curry that didn’t overpower the fresh, beautiful fish. It was a perfect balance of flavors. I didn’t try my friends’ mains, so I’ll leave those un-commented on, but we also ordered the tomato salad and salt & vinegar onion rings on the side. The tomatoes were fresh and vibrant, and the onion rings were crispy and addictive.
We couldn’t resist dessert, even though we were nearly full, and I’m so glad we didn’t pass it up. We tried the tiramisu, Swiss roll, and baked friand in oyster shells, and they were all incredible. The flavors were interesting - however the tiramisu was the best of the three desserts !
After dinner, we ended the evening downstairs at the Punch Room for a nightcap in the hotel’s speakeasy, which was the perfect way to wrap up a special and fun evening. All in all, FYSH at Edition delivered on every front — the food, the drinks, the service, and the atmosphere. Thank you for making the night special for us !
