We had planned to head to the city for Smashburgers but changed plans at the last minute. BRO, were we pleasantly surprised! The OKC and the “traditional” Smashburgers were both fantastic! The seasoned fries were perfectly crispy on the outside and soft “potatoey” on the inside. We also sampled their sauces; both were quite nice with the fries. My spouse has suggested we go back every day since we first tried Fyve Bros.

Great local place for smash burgers! Stopped in today for my first visit, with more to come! Simple menu with a handful of choices. The OKC Burger was excellent. Full of flavor and just the right amount of heat from the jalapeños. The fries were perfectly cooked and seasoned as well. I got a side of their cheese sauce (could be thicker in my opinion), and a side of the FYVE sauce that was delicious!! Great atmosphere and very clean as well. I’m already looking forward to going back and trying additional menu options.

I’ve heard about this place from the owner of Pie Life in Carol Stream. He told me this is one of the best smash burgers he’s ever had. I decided to come here last night to check it out. They have a decent parking lot that is shared. Inside there were six tables and two arcade games that you can play. There are two one-person restrooms with each gender. Prices were pretty cheap. I ordered an OKC burger, FYVE dog, seasoned fries, CHYCK sauce, and strawberry lemonade. My food came out fast. I’ll give this place a 4.5. Skip the fries and just order another OKC burger and the strawberry lemonade. -OKC burger 5 - this was hands down one of the best burgers I’ve ever had in general. The double smash patties were very juicy. The jalapeño only added a little bit of heat but it all came together nicely with the other toppings. The potato bun was good. The sauce was amazing. I would just skip over the single smash and only get the double. -FYVE dog 4 - it’s a good hot dog but not on the same level as the OKC burger. The CHYCK sauce was tasty on the dog. -seasoned fries 3 - the fries by themselves were meh. I’m not a crinkle cut kind of guy. I’ve been to a number of Middle Eastern and Indian places and their fries are crispy and well seasoned. I like those. These I would recommend getting the CHYCK sauce or the FYVE sauce to dip them in. -strawberry lemonade 5 - I really enjoyed this. I wished they had refills or a bigger cup for this.

And that strawberry lemonade was absolute refreshment in a cup, perfectly sweet, tart, and the ideal complement to a rich, savory burger. What truly makes FYVE Bros stand out is that everything on their menu is 100 percent Zabiha Halal. You can taste the quality and care in every single item. The ingredients are fresh, the execution flawless, and the passion unmistakable. FYVE Bros isn’t just another burger joint, it’s a game changer for Chicago’s burger scene. Every detail feels intentional, from the crisp sear on the patties to the signature flavor of that FYVE sauce. If you’re anywhere near Glendale Heights, do yourself a favor and make the trip. Stopped for lunch and walked in right as they opened. Was greeted and my order was taken. Everything is made fresh so it took about 10 minutes and let me tell you it’s worth waiting to have it fresh. I got a OKC smash burger and fries. The fries were hot, crispy and seasoned perfectly. The burger… this burger was AMAZING. Lots of places say they serve smash burgers and miss the mark. These were thin crispy patties and it was loaded with toppings and sauce. It was a mess, a delicious mess that I will be waiting until I can come back for another.

Hidden gem alert! Had the double smash - okc and the original. Nice crispy smash burgers and great spice! Got the loaded fried half chicken / half burger tons of sauce. Sooo good. Oh, and we had shakes too which were perfect! Place is clean, service is speedy. Great for watching football!

If you're looking for a legit smash burger with thin patties with crispy lacy edges then this is the place for you! The owners prides themselves on a limited menu of items done really well with high quality ingredients. I had the smash burger, seasoned fries, and a vanilla shake. The shake was smooth and thick with little ice crystals that melt on your tongue. They give you a big straw that doesn't collapse when trying to suction a big gulp of milkshake. Don't go here for flashy ambience; go here for well executed food. I will be back to Fyve Bros on my next trip to Chicago!
