G Design Hotel

Great modern hotel, plenty of free parking in front of the hotel. Staff speak English. Very quiet room with triple-glazed windows. No “cheap” furniture. Beds are very good. The double bed has no gap in the middle. Breakfast is available as a buffet with sufficient choice and very good. The size of the breakfast room could be bigger, but basically there were no problems getting a seat. In the warm season there is also an outdoor area for breakfast. There is always an assistant who takes good care of the guests. He also operates the coffee machine. The coffee is 1A. There's a restaurant right next to the hotel with super good food. The traffic connection is good, because it is only about 300m to the highway. There is also a bus stop near the hotel, but I can't say anything about these transport links as we always used the car during our stay. Can absolutely recommend the hotel.

Gorgeous place, the hotel decor was beautiful... I loved the breakfast area . It was stunning. The staff on front desk was very kind and with a perfect English for communication. A very nice place . Thank you for having us 🥰

I have been staying at the G Design Hotel in Ljubljana for a few years now and it continues to be my very favorite hotel in Ljubljana by far. Service is outstanding, staff is always cheerful, helpful, accommodating and polite. The quality of the included delicious breakfast is excellent and espresso, cappuccino and latte are made on demand by the ever pleasant and happy waiter & chef

There were many aspects of this hotel I liked, modern design, interesting room layout, comfortable bed, friendly and helpful staff... There were 2 drawbacks which seemed fixable: 1) my room carried a strong smell of cheap perfume, perhaps from cleaning supplies, which was so strong I had to leave the window open, and 2) the air-conditioning unit sounded like it was crushing metal parts (if you didn't mind turning it down the horrible sound went away, in a sense defeating the purpose of the machine... )

Liked · Very nice, spacious, clean and brigth room and bathroom. Very comfortable bed, big screen TV with huge selection of channels. Great service, all the staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious, selection wasn't great, but had everything needed. Free parking just outside the hotel. Disliked · Pillows were very bad and only one per person. The room was extremely warm and we stayed in December! The only way to cool it down was to fully open the door to the balcony which was not possible with switch controlled curtain. Location was a bit on the edge of the city, but it was very quiet and not a huge problem as we were with a car. A bit overpriced as well.

This place is located slightly outside, but if you have a car it is a 10 minute drive to the city center. The rooms were clean and comfortable. There is free parking for guests. It is a good hotel to use as a starting point to explore the area, it is quite close to the highway. It was also very quiet. The only negative point I would note is that the breakfast (although included) was a bit underwhelming for a 4 star hotel. I was expecting more, taking into account I had been in a 3 star hotel with a lot more variety. The breakfast is not bad but just very basic and with limited choices. I came to the hotel because in the city center the prices were a lot higher and many didn't have parking included. I would return if I would be in the area again as I found the quality/price ratio quite good.

Great hotel, stayed for 2 days. Its close to city center, rooms were cosy and spacious,clean. Breakfast was great with the variety of food, coffee is great, everyone was nice and friendly.
