G Hotel Kelawai

We had a very pleasant stay in this hotel. The guard, receptionist, housekeeping, dining, the foods, the accomodations and everything about this hotel is very welcoming. They really trained their staffs well. Polite and always greet us appropriately. Room quite spacious and clean. This hotel more calm than the G Hotel Gurney and the services far more better in here. The rooftop pool water is warm and there is towels & toilet available for changing. There is bar beside the pool. Nice view at night. We book this hotel last minute. Affordable. Ample parking available. Near Gurney plaza with just walking distance. Will come again later and definitely will choose this hotel again.

Comfortable relaxing stay. Choose this hotel as next to the mall as was raining whole day. Short 1 night stay. Premier rooms all good and comfortable. Bed /pillows great. Good space. Bathroom good as expected too. Buggy service standby for those in need to go to the mall. Stayed at G hotel last year, preferred the rooms here as feels much newer. Breakfast spread good. Location great as easy to move about, also if it rains, mall, restaurant/cafe all just next door. Staff all Good. Thumbs up to the door man/ Guard as really friendly and helpful. G Hotel Kelawai is a very nice and comfortable hotel to stay. Conveniencely located beisde 2 malls, the hotel is well-located and offers convenience. The room is not only comfortable but also sufficiently spacious. I particilarly liked the free mini-bar. Breakfast is also good, offering tantalising international and local food. What stood out is the friendliness and warm hospitality of the service staff.

Overall is good , location is convenient. Easy for shopping. ||Breakfast is good, staff is friendly and nice. cleaning is very good. room is quite big. ||It is a wonderful stay in this hotel, but one thing is quite pity ... the TV cannot link with room's WIFI.||My hand phone's program can not link in the TV. ||Maybe it is possible, but guest might not understand how to do. I suggest your Tech staff can solve this issue. thank you.

Good location, clean room, welcoming staff and delicious hotel breakfast! The shower water pressure could be slightly stronger for optimal comfort. Other than that, I sincerely hope the excellent standards and pleasant experience at G Hotel Kelawai will remain consistent, or even better, during my next visit. Thank you very much for providing such a wonderful and memorable stay for my fiancée and me. This has truly been the best hotel experience I have had in Penang thus far.

Rooms were super clean and well stocked with amenities. Management was responsive to our request for adjoining rooms and our family had a great stay - full marks for that which made the whole stay extra enjoyable. The pool at the top is on the smallish side but it has great views and great facilities - it had changing rooms which were very clean, deck chairs provided with towels, absolutely nothing missing. Only small niggle is that the poolside bar was not open till 5pm during the weekday so I had to go somewhere else for a drink. The gym is pretty decent - with small but good new equipment. It is a standard hotel gym for guests only - hubby maxed out on the weights. Location wise the hotel was fabulous for us - with access to both Paragon and Gurney Plaza, and I love to stay on the iconic Gurney Drive.

Spacious and clean room, comfortable twin beds, good housekeeping . ||Minutes walk to shopping malls and food.||Panaromic view from the fully equipped gym. Lovely swimming pool too. ||Receptionist/Front Desk staff were helpful and courteous and so were the doormen too.||||

One of the best hotel I ever stayed in my life. ||From the moment I got off the E-hailing car at the entrance, the security guard greeted me enthusiastically.||The reception counter staff was friendly & greeted guest with a smile.||Shortly after, while checking in Ice cream was served & it was good.||Check in timing is 3pm but there was no issue checking in at around 2pm.||My request for a quiet room on a high floor was accommodated.||The room is clean & spacious. Bed is comfortable & there is options to choose your pillow.||Their TV is android smart tv.||There is free buggy service to the nearest mall.||All the hotel staff that I have encountered during my stay were friendly, polite & always greet their guests with a smile on their face.||I will definitely recommend this hotel to my friends & colleagues.||Overall it was a very comfortable & relaxing stay.||Room for improvement will be the breakfast which is pretty mediocre for a 5 star hotel.||There is not much choices for their breakfast & the food is average.

The G hotel is modern and spacious and impeccably designed. The furnishings throughout the hotel are high quality and well thought out. Great job interior design team! I booked a club room. Unfortunately the hotel was at capacity and I had to wait for an hour after check in time to have access to the room. The room was also located on level 7, a short elevator trip up to the club lounge floor. Not on the club floor itself. For NYE the club room manager kindly booked an inside table for me and my guest. Although the table was reserved, our NYE party swag and wine was cleared away when we went to check out the poolside NYE entertainment. The staff were obliging to replace the wine, however our table was reassigned to other guests. The hotel room itself was very spacious, clean and comfortable. Apart from the few minor inconveniences, the attentiveness and hospitality of the staff was exemplary- especially in the club lounge. The floor and beverages in the lounge were extremely good. Overall, a great place to stay during a very busy time of year.
