G2 BOUTIQUE HOTEL

Lovely hotel in the old town with friendly staff. The only down side is that the shower seems extremely dirty, even the little shower carpet seems moldy. A small renovation to the toilet would be great. But In general a very nice stay!

The rooms are clean and cozy, with everything we need for a comfortable trip. The staff are always friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome. The location is perfect, right in town

I had an incredible week-long stay at G2 Boutique Hotel! The rooms were exceptionally comfortable and spotlessly clean, making it a perfect home away from home. The price was unbeatable for the quality provided. The staff were incredibly kind and accommodating, always going above and beyond to ensure a great experience. Had issues with the property, in evening lot of mosquito in room even though windows closed, very dark in room less lighting, limited n broken power socket which made it hard to charge phone. I booked for 6 nights but had bad experience and left the hotel next morning, thanks to Trip dot Com for helping me and one off rebooking to different hotel.

I stayed 8 nights in a “superior” room on the top floor, and although this is not a big, fancy hotel, it’s a very comfortable room for the price. The room was spacious (quite large for a solo traveler) and the refrigerator was the largest I’ve ever seen in a hotel room. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful during my stay, which made my time in Chiang Mai more enjoyable. ||The location is excellent, within walking distance of markets, 7-Eleven, cafes, restaurants, massage shops, and temples. ||Some people may find the shower a little small but it was big enough for me. The room was dimmer than I’m used to, but it’s easy to fix by just opening the curtains to the large glass sliding door. ||I really enjoyed waking up to the sound of birds in the morning and the sliding door/window lets in beautiful sunlight during the day. The bed was very comfortable and the air conditioning was effective and quiet. ||There isn’t an elevator but the staff were so kind to help carry my luggage up and down the stairs for me. This is the best hotel I’ve ever stayed in within this same low price range, and I’d return on my next trip.

We stayed here for about a week in June 2025 One of the more affordable options for a hotel inside the city center, it is a small quiet hotel with less than 10 rooms so it's probably best to book earlier than later, you can walk pretty much anywhere in the old city from the hotel, staff is excellent and kind, the rooms are very nice & aircon worked well, also appreciated getting a late checkout for 100 Baht per hour. I plan on coming back to Chiang Mai in the future and will most likely stay here again!

I almost don’t want to leave a review and keep this hidden gem to myself - but what kind of way is that to repay the absolutely outstanding service and beautiful rooms we received (genuinely boutique).
