G55 Design Hotel

G55 is a great location in Rome. We had a wonderful week stay and the breakfast was delicious! I will always recommend G55 to anyone I know traveling. The room was clean, staff is amazing, and in close proximity to the express store and a nice spa next door. If I would recommend anything is bring a small portable fan with you. The days are really hot. Thank you to the staff for a wonderful experience.

We had a great experience at G55 Design Hotel. The rooms were big, stylish, and the bed was very comfortable. The location is amazing, within walking distance to all the main sights. Manisha at reception recommended lovely typical restaurants nearby. Would definitely stay here again!

Great location for everything except the Vatican which is a short taxi ride. |Simple hotel which feels more like apartment rooms. A main desk which is unmanned but always available via a quick phone call or what’s app message. |Perfect location for those that like to keep themselves to themselves and just enjoy the city.

Very good one If you’re looking for a relaxing and comfortable place to stay, this is it. Sergey went out of his way to make sure we had a great visit, offering helpful recommendations and being super approachable. The Hotel itself is adorable, the room cozy, and everything is conveniently located. Huge thanks to the friendly staff for their hospitality — they really made the difference.

Beautiful hotel with a great vibe. Looks original, interesting, extraordinary. First of all the location is the best, everything is in a walk distance. Sergey was so kind. Definitely come back!

Do not, I repeat, do not, under any circumstances, spend your money here. I think they delete or pay for their good google reviews. Saying this is a hotel is a stretch but more like a group of airbnbs with a desk that someone tends to on occasion. While the location is pretty good and close to the sites, that’s where anything positive about my experience ends. Upon checking in, the front door was locked and wouldn’t open so I called the number on the wall and a very irritated man answered the phone. Luckily someone came down shortly after. We were shown to a room that did not match the website at all. It was dirty, had marks all over the walls, and had a hole in the ceiling that may have contributed to the dusty and damp smell throughout the room. And the bathroom was reminiscent of what I imagine jail to feel like. We soon came to realize that the AC was not working. Someone came up and said it couldn’t be fixed that night and to open our window- which is right on a very loud and busy road. They did not have another room to move us to that night so we had to sleep in the heat. They were able to move us to another room the next day which was a little nicer but still equally dirty. We attempted to get money back for our very uncomfortable first night and they have yet to return any calls or emails.

My friends and I stayed at G55 recently and we had an amazing experience!! Manisha from the front desk was 10/10. We love Rome and definitely will come back!!
